If google permitted zero stars then my rating would have been zero , but I'm forced to put a single star to write a review. If it was possible to go back in time and change something which has happened in our life , then with no second thought I would say taking my wife to Dr.Matta and letting her deliver our baby. It's been two years my wife had the trauma from the delivery and she is still suffering till date and developed the fear of hospitals. Even Insisting on a C-Section , Dr.Matta made my wife deliver a 9.1 lb baby vaginally causing a 4th degree tear and lying to us that it was a 2nd Degree tear. When a patient has a fourth degree tear , the actual practice is take her to a operation theatre and check the intensity of the tear and apply sutures to make sure there are no fistula's. But Dr. Matta didn't even check for it and applied sutures at the delivery bed. This resulted in forming a RectoVaginalFistula(A hole in the wall between rectum and vagina) from the delivery which is common in under developed countries like Africa where there are no proper medical facilities and rare to be found in Developed Countries like US and most of the doctor's don't even know how to fix this. There are only 50% success rates for the surgery to fix this and in most of the cases they came back . With such risks involved , my wife had to go for another surgery 4 months after her delivery.
Even today , two years after her second surgery , my wife is still suffering from pain from the tear , depression , fear of hospitals and she can never go for a vaginal delivery . This trauma is ruining our happiness and every time my wife hear about a new born baby these memories flash in her mind and breaks her down. We even dropped our plans of having another baby . I would suggest soon to be mom's to be very careful with Dr Matta and think twice before going to see her. Today , the pain and suffering our family is still facing is making me to write this review and as we don't want anybody else to suffer like us
