My 2nd visit to Warner & Van Meter Dermatology. I made 1 phone call and the receptionist was very professional and immediately got me scheduled the next day. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Jonathan R. Van Meter, M.D. and he was very knowledgeable and new exactly what my problem was. He gave me a thorough exam. I had been suffering with itchy bites and rash for 2 months solid after numerous visits to my primary doctor giving me incorrect meds and not getting to the source. BRAVO!! TO THIS AMAZING GROUP OF DOCTORS

They say they answer their phone until 5pm but nope, the service was turned on sometime between 430 and 445pm so I am going elsewhere for acne appointment.

My parents (ages 88 and 85) recently went to the office of Warner & Van Meter for the first time. I cannot stress enough how personable, pleasant, caring, kind, and devoted this office is. The staff is extremely helpful in making sure that everything is taken care of as needed and Dr. Charles Van Meter was the best dermatologist that my parents have been to and are now determined to continue seeing as needed rather than be referred to anyone else. Dr. Charles Van Meter was able to cure a painful sore my mother has had on her arm for quite some time even though her primary care doctor nor a wound care center at the hospital was able to make any progress. Mom is very appreciative of Dr. Van Meter's knowledge and caring manner. Dad is extremely grateful that someone could finally solve my mother's problem after watching her be in pain for so long. Dr. Van Meter was caring for my mother in his office when he noticed some places on my father's head and face that he thought should be tended to and advised Dad to make an appointment to come back with Mom when she was to be seen for a follow-up so that he could take a closer look. Dad went back a week later and ended up having several spots of skin cancer removed. We are so thankful that Dr. Charles Van Meter noticed the spots and had Dad come back to check them out. As I said before..... I cannot stress enough what a great office this is. Every doctor and his staff should be as kind, considerate and knowledgeable as this office is. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We were so impressed by the staff that my parent's took bouquets of flowers to the two staffers that they had dealt with while there, Gracie and Kristen. Keep up the great work. You are appreciated more than you could ever know.

Had an issue with this place that has led me to distrust most doctors in general. I had decent health insurance that was paying for visits with only a small co-pay. I had three moles to be removed. After all three were cut by Dr. Van Meter senior, he said "come back in a few weeks for a follow up." After coming back he said all three moles were still there and he had to cut a little deeper to get the root. He said he thought he had got them the first time, but he did second cuts of all three of the moles. He again said come back in a few weeks for a follow up. After going in for a follow up again, which was the third time I had been to the office, it was the same issue, still not deep enough for any of the three, so three more incisions (one for each of the three moles), and he said to come back in three weeks for a follow up. I told him that my insurance was about to expire at that time and I would not be back. He had a disappointed look on his face when I said that. To this day, after all three cuts to each of the three moles (9 incisions total), I still have all three moles. He didn't remove any of them! I had a mole removed at a different doctor prior to that and it was removed in one appointment. After looking at my medical bills I was shocked at what they were charging for each incision. Leeds me to believe that they are experts at milking insurance companies, and here I was getting cut up every couple weeks as part of their scam and having to pay co-pay!

Dr. Jonathan Van Meter is simply the best. Had three facial moles removed and all healed up perfectly. Had a few other moles removed with equal success. In fact, I was so pleased that I also had my wife and daughter seen (not for moles). If you have any issue or concern with the skin, you will be in great hands with Dr. Jonathan.

This is a well run dermatology practice. Office staff are on point. Dr. Johnathan Van Meter and Dr. Curt Volker are both amazing dermatologists. They both have an excellent bedside manner and are very knowledgeable and skilled with diseases and lesions of the skin. Frederick county is blessed to have such great dermatologist in our back yard.

Dr. Van Meter is great! He is an experienced Doctor, you can tell! His staff is great at getting you in at the last minute when needed and if you have to wait in the office? It's not for long at all... I also appreciate how quick he is! I don't have the time to be spending hours at a Doctors office.

Careful with these guys. Went to have three moles removed. I was assured that my Ins would cover the costs. They were wrong. Ins did not cover the costs. They then said that it is standard for them to send the moles for biopsy even though the Dr was not concerned that they were cancerous. Now I am getting bills for the biopsy. I would not go back to them based on these deceptive billing practices. If they tell you it is covered by INS don't believe them.
