The doctor (Ophthalmologist) charged fraudulent diagnosis codes - taking old diagnosis from my medical HISTORY as though they were current today over 30 years later. Then upon my insurance company discovering this, they after 4 months have FAILED to refund me thus far. They keep saying a check was mailed on a certain date, I call back a month later after having received no refund check and the cycle begins again . Adding this Sept 2018 -- it took 6 months to get my refund. Apparently the person kept telling me refunds had been mailed - my refunds were sitting on someone's desk NOT MAILED. I'm thankful to the supervisor that finally took care of this but I will not recommend nor ever return to this practice - horrible experience. I encouraged my insurance company to investigate their practices.
