Not a pleasant experience at all. Dr. Patel was my OB during my first pregnancy and I had a miscarriage. Then a few months later I’m pregnant again and I see Dr. Patel. She did not even bother to look over her own notes prior to seeing me. She responded to me by saying, “oh, is this not your first pregnancy?” Suffice it to say, it ended in another miscarriage. Dr. Patel never even considered the 2nd pregnancy to be any risk at all. Considering she thought it was only my first pregnancy....

Rude and Wrong-Billing. I went to Dr. Patel in 2017. She was fine as a provider but their billing department is horrible. They kept billing me wrong. My co-pay was $10 and they kept charging me $20. After I learned it should have been $10, it took me a LONG time to get them to own up to it. They didn't want to talk about it and even HANG UP on me. After I got the refunds from the over-payment, I thought this was finished. But they had some issue with the insurance company and kept sending in invoices. Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor, Great personality, seems to be a perfectionist that explains what the issues are (if any), discusses options and then does a great job.

Dr. Patel is warm and comforting and, when my regular doctor became unavailable to care for me during my second pregnancy (the first pregnancy ended in a viable but very premature birth), Dr. Patel became my doctor. She immediately referred me to a specialist and both she and the specialist, Dr. Odum Yared (yay!) monitored me throughout my pregnancy. I delivered as scheduled at 38 weeks and 1 day and have had the exact recovery she predicted. She is young, energetic and knowledgeable!
