There is no way there should be a 1 rating for the prior visits because the location did not open until August 17th. If I were the owner, I would contest those ratings to see if Google can delete them because those ratings are not a true indication of the service. I, however, went to this location Sunday, August 20 about 9:00 a.m. I was in and out within 30 to 40 minutes (intake, diagnosis, and treatment). The staff members (security guard, intake receptionist, nurse, X-ray tech, physician) were professional and courteous. I have gone to Patient First for many years and this visit was excellent!

The Physician was ok .. but i felt rushed by her. Which was frustrating...X-ray Tech very nice professional , Phlebotomists , medical assistant as well. PLEASE GET RID OF THOSE WHITE UNIFORMS!!!!! IT’S SO INSTITUTIONAL

I called to inquire about the wait time, they state that they are not busy so I went in To check some skin issue. After all the checking- in process, the CNA took my vitals, I was then directed into a room to see a doctor at approximately 1:40 pm. 40 minutes later I asked how long of a wait until the provider comes in, they said the doctors were busy attending a suture. They couldn’t even give their patient an update as to why the wait was taking too long. The CNA then informed me that the doctor will be with me shortly. Doctor did not show up until about about an hour and half from I was brought to the room. Needlessly to say, I’ll never be going back to get treatment here.

PLEASE DON'T GO HERE! THEY ARE EXTREMELY SLOW! YOU BETTER OFF GOING TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM! When I tried to leave they kept saying you going to wait longer in an emergency room! My grandma Ms Johnson came in 5/24/19 with extremely high blood pressure and I asked would she get priority? They said no because she was stable! I don't see how high blood pressure is stable! I regret staying here and I will NEVER RETURN to THIS INCOMPETENT LOCATION!

This is a great establishment. The receptionist was friendly, as was the MA. The wait wasn't long, the Dr was great. My only issue is that when I was getting my blood drawn the tech dropped the needle, although it stayed capped the needle should have went right into the sharps container, instead she was going to draw my blood with it. A definite no no. I spoke up and she said but the cap stayed on? Yes it did but it doesn't matter. Anyway this was still a great visit with prompt service. Definitely recommend!!!

I am simply not happy with the services. The last time I stopped in for a follow-up from a previous visit. I had gotten poision oak and was on the antibiotics and hydrocortissone cream,for treatment that was given me . But I still had some of the poision Ivy left. The reason for for me returning. So the Doctor there Hope Elliot, is always shifting the emergency to what she says is my blood pressure readings, ignoring the reason for my visit. This time she has filled a prescription for a cream that is very strong and I can only apply it to some areas of my body. Meanwhile i will have visit a doctors office simply to get rid of poision oak.

After being involved in a car accident, I chose to go to patient first, Landover Hills, MD. This was my first visit. I had the "BEST' treatment and service, from registration technician, the intake technician, x-ray technician (hilarious) and Dr. Raven. I would select this place as my Primary Care facility. Everything was bright, clean and well organized. Thank you very much, for making me feel important, as if I was the only patient there. You guys rock!!!!

I came in at 2 all my information was put in the system within 10 mins at 2:15 I was in the back waiting to be seen. I waited over a hour for a doctor and no one came in. BUT, I did receive the best quick help/attention from the great Maryann Ifurung M.D.. She's wonderful and a very knowledgeable doctor. I would return just because of her!

I would give no stars if I could! I went to this location yesterday as both of my children had slight fevers and our primary care was not open. The registrar was pleasant but their was a caucasian woman with blonde hair. Who presented herself in a very attacking way. Being inappropriately loud in regards to my child. Stating what I should've done before I arrived. Saying that she would treat the kid because of suspected fever. But that I need to figure out a payment etc etc as if she was doing me a favor..... This was extremely unprofessional and uncaring & violated hippa laws! I wonder if I were another race would this indvisual have conducted herself differently? I believe this person made an assumption based on creed, color & intellect which is sad! I have worked in the healthcare field for over 15 yrs and have never witnessed nor treated or talked down to anyone in such a way. Despite this 1 horrid interaction the remainder of the staff and Dr. Ifurung was very pleasant! I however will not return to this location although this is closer to where I reside. I will continue to go the Bowie location as the customer service in all aspects are ideal.

As a previous patient at the Landover Hills location and someone with a background in health I was hesitant to write a review. However with my follow up call today asking why I didn't come in yesterday (I was not aware of the follow up until the nurse called this morning) I decided to write a review. The service provided by the young lady (African America female with a blonde weave) who checked me in was less than favorable. I apologize for not listing her name, however when I called back that information wasn't provided to me. She displayed very clearly that she was ready to end her shift for the evening as we arrived approximately 10-12 minutes prior to closing. I was forced to pay out of pocket due to being denied to have my insurance contacting for authorization. The PA who assisted me was wonderful, patient, empathetic and compassionate. The doctor was gentle and displayed a good bedside manner. Due to the nature of my symptoms I still am puzzled as to why there was no blood test or ear exam preformed. We were given medication and advised to perform some home exercises and if things didn't get better to go to the ER. I was able to advocate for myself to start the process on my refund as I am well aware of what could have and should have been done on behalf of the patient. To further my frustration I received a call today from the nurse advising I was scheduled for a follow up in which I knew nothing about. She stated that I should have received paperwork. I advised that I received documents on how to perform the exercise and my billing statement. She then proceeds to say that is not uncommon as the doctor who treated me has a habit of not providing all documentation to patients because he feels it can be overwhelming. All documentation should be provided to the patient at all times with no exceptions!!! The purpose of writing this review is in hope that the appropriate training measures are provided especially to the young lady who checks in patients; just because the building closes at a particular time doesn't mean you get to treat patients any differently; there are closing procedures for a medical facility and PATIENTS shouldn't feel like they are a burden and deserve to be treated with respect, compassion and care. As for not receiving all of my paperwork, I don't feel anyone gets to make that call except the patient. I am so grateful that I am surrounded by other medical professionals and I personally have the knowledge needed to ensure I was aware of my symptoms and progress, as well as the next steps if any were needed. Completed disheartened by this experience and I would rather spend hours in an ER then return at this point...I hope my mindset changes and I don't let the lack of professionalism by some spoil it for the rest of the professionals in that establishment.

Best urgent care ever!!!! The facility was clean. The customer service was Great! The staff was compassionate and helpful! My 19 month old was running a fever of 104 they immediately gave him Tylenol once he got to the back. They monitored his fever until he was seen by the doctor and they even had his prescription at the facility. Wow! I’m beyond thankful! As a first time Mom this made my night so much easier. Bowie is better. Doctors were lazy and diagnosed me with anything. Went to a different one and got the special care I needed. The doctor I had was ready to go as it was getting close to 10pm. I arrived there at about 6:30. They ran swap test and urine tests for a common cold. Unusual.

Do not go to this place. It is a joke. Dr. Raven Davis is very rude. She moves so fast that you dont even have time to ask her questions. Once everything was complete I asked for a doctor's note from work for 2 days. She advised me that she felt that I only needed one day from work. I went in for a sore throat that I've had for over a week. She didnt ask questions about my job because if she would have she would know that I work 6 days a week and 12 hour shifts and I talk a lot at work which means that my sore throat wouldn't get better unless i had time to rest. I've never been to a doctor's office where they refuse to give you what you ask for. She advised that if I wanted a note for the next day that I had to come back in and they would give me one. Who has time to do all that when you are sick I should be at home resting. This place is a joke and Dr. Davis is not a good doctor.

I had to wait for over an hour for a doctor or nurse to see me or to inform me that there would be a wait. No consideration for my time, I feel as if only interested in my money or insurance to pay for this wasted visit. I am so disappointed with the overall service I received. Very disappointing as I have been to this location before and received good service, not great service. However this recent visit lays very heavily on my decision to visit there in the future.

This was my first visit to a Patient First facility and hopefully my LAST. The doctor at Landover Hills gave the wrong DIAGNOSIS for my child (Prescirbed medicine that made him violently ill). During my visit when I stated that I would take my child on Monday to see a specialist the Doctor on duty told me I didn't need to see a specialist. I went to see a specialist and my child had to have emergency surgery and the Medicine that was prescribed by Patient First doctor was not needed at all. Do not WASTE your money or time going to see these QUACK-FAKE DOCTORS.

Everyone was wonderful! Miss Karen Checked me in and was very pleasant as well as knowledgeable. Iris was professional but fun when going through my weight and blood pressure. Melissa has a fun spirit and made getting xrays not so boring and my doctor (first name started with a K) was not only gorgeous but extremely intelligent and she answered all the questions I had even those not related to my primary visit purpose. I went in at 3:30pm on a friday and there was no wait. And everyone was prompt with providing me the service i needed in a timely matter. Good experience!

Today was my first time visiting this location - the staff was friendly - however the wait time was unnecessarily longer than expected - from observation there weren’t too many patients being treated. I waited 1.5 hr before inquiring if the doctor forgot about me? Then shortly After inquiring the doctor came in did a quick rushed exam - barely listened to my concerns, indicated she’d be back with my meds but never returned back to the room - I asked again after waiting 15 min longer before inquiring again “is the doctor gonna bring my medication so I can check out” - by then I’d had been there 2 hours and Was ready to go home. The doctor had seen 2-3 other patients in between supposedly “bringing my meds”, once she saw the charge nurse escorting me and the meds to check out she then came to check to see if everything was ok - this is unacceptable to me - especially coming from someone that works in an Pediatrics office. I normally go to the Beltsville location which every time even with a booked waiting room I’m in and out in 1 hour. Today I decided to save the drive and give my “new” neighborhood patient first a try and this is that happens. I left Feeling really disappointed and wishing I had have went to my usual location even though the Beltsville office is out the way!

Excellent! Under the circumstances I felt pretty good when leaving. Knowing I'm not almost dead is always a plus, but the staff helped me and did not cause additional stress. Some urgent care facilities add on to the patient's ill feeling with poor service, lack of empathy and rudeness. I did not experience any of that today and for that I am most grateful. Great customer service and quick. Not 100% being I just was seen last night. But I’m on my way. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. Late hours so I could get the help I need.

Nice facility and treatment and staff were friendly. BUT, I was billed incorrectly and it's been 5 months of back and forth and the bill has still not been corrected. Very frustrating, and I won't be going back unless I have to.

If I could I would give this place ZERO stars. I’ve been waiting for the past hour for a simple strep test result. While all the staff is just lounging around in there cell phones chit chatting about there personal business, being super loud and unprofessional. THE WORST Patient First. If you’re in the are take the time to drive the extra 20 minutes to silver spring. I promise you, you will be back home sooner than coming here.!!

From the beginning to end I was totally enamored with everything. Service, professionalism, timeliness, and compassion for an individual in need. This staff went above and beyond! I arrived at this facility there were about out 4 people in the waiting area. Front desk person called me quickly. She was extremely pleasant which I appreciate. I work in a medical facility so I understand people being seen based on the severity of your complaint. However, I dont understand sitting in a room for over an hour and not one person even acknowledging you are there. I watched 1 physician sit in a chair on a computer at least half the time a was in the room. While, another physician arrived and immediately took a seat at the computer. Now maybe they were working on charts , I dont know. What I know is as a patient it's off putting. What makes me sad about this is that I can never get good service in my own community. I would like to give them NO stars accept for the wonderful front desk person.

I was checked in quickly here (less than 5 minutes as a new patient) and the staff was very friendly. The facilities are clean (the building and the furnishings are new) and the equipment is in tip-top shape. The labs didn't take very long at all and the diagnosis was quick. The doctor (it looks like his name is Hoang Pham) took his time and answered all my questions. They have an in-house pharmacy, and in my case my doctor brought me my prescriptions before I checked out. My overall visit probably took 30 or 40 minutes, including new patient check-in, x-rays and processing, working with the doctor to get a diagnosis, and being on a nebulizer for 10 minutes. Definitely will go here again the next time I'm debilitatingly sick.

Monica did an excellent job drawing my blood, my veins are very difficult. The front desk person, who took my information, was very friendly. I think her name was Kate. All the staff members were professional and prompt. I love this location!!!!
