Dr. Bansal is a wonderful dermitoligist. She is kind and caring. I have very specific skin issues and not only has she helped with these issues but has made sure that my other issues and allergies are taken into account in all my medical treatment. I had surgery 5 weeks ago and the hospital screwed up my allergies and left me very uncomfortable and with a serious rash. I called Dr Bansal 's office she knew I was having this surgery and she said come right over. She fit me into a very packed schedule and was able to give me something to make the rash settle right down. I can never begin to thank her for the care she shows.

I went for a full body check. Brooke was very professional and spoke in detail about everything she found, and gave me recommendations for different over the counter products I can use for everything from patches of dry skin to a little bit of excess skin from weight loss and pointers on how to minimize skin elasticity issues as I lose more weight. I never felt like the visit was rushed in any way. I couldn't imagine having a better experience.

I have been taking my 15 month old son to Dr. Bansal for the past couple week. He's had a mysterious rash that no one has been able to diagnose. Dr. Bansal has been amazingly compassionate, responsive and professional. She very quickly got us an appointment at John Hopkins for a consultation. I can't thank Dr. Bansal and her staff enough for their patience and caring. While we still don't have a definitive answer, I feel much better knowing we have such a supportive doctor helping to care for my child.

Horrible, uncomfortable experience with a complete lack of cultural competence. First, I scheduled using ZocDoc, which was misleading because I expected to see a doctor and specifically one of color due to the severity of the problem. I was seen by Brooke Bennett instead, who barely looked at my rash and misdiagnosed my issue as acne. Second, after experiencing a severe adverse reaction from the medications she prescribed for the wrong issue, I was advised to stop the meds but not asked to come in for an immediate evaluation. I was told to call back in if I don’t get better within 2 days of stopping the meds. As a healthcare professional, this struck me as completely unethical. As a woman of color, I found out the hard way that this practice is clearly not the place for me. Needless to say, I ended up needing to get an urgent care visit elsewhere will not be returning here ever again.

Friendly staff. Big negative is, I had a 1pm in afternoon appointment, which was the first after all staff lunch break. I waited 35 minutes to be taken back, then over 30 more minutes in a room waiting to see the doctor. After waiting/wasting all that time, I had to leave before seeing the doctor due to needing to be back at work. I allowed 2 1/2 hours out of my day for this appointment and it wasn't enough. I like the practice, but they need to honor appointment times, as patient's time should matter to them.

The staff was very professional and accommodating. We visited for my son who had a very bad case of poison ivy. I was able to schedule an appointment within a day and early in the morning. Our appointment was for 9am and we were seen 10 minutes before. My son is not comfortable with doctors in general and it is hard for us to even get him to go inside any building he knows a doctor's office is located. He didn't mind coming here for some reason. He also didn't mind Brooke examining him which is a first. Her demeanor, calming presence and patience explaining to us what we need to do helped for an easy experience that could have gone much worse (and has in the past with other physicians). She was kind and was very gentle with our son who can be difficult when people he doesn't know get in his personal space. She offered remedies for over the counter as well as prescribed and his rash started to alleviate the first day. I could not be more pleased with our experience. Thank you. Would definitely recommend.

The service was good, no problem with that at all. However I canceled my last appointment with them over the phone the day before the appointment and now they are trying to charge me a $50 no show fee. I canceled per their policy with 24 hours notice (Appointments canceled before 24 hours of the appointment will not incur any fees). I have spoken to them 2 times on this letting them know and I just received another bill from them. Not happy, and no I am not paying it.

While it will take a few days to see the full results, I am already happy with decision. This office sent business-savvy text message giving patients impression that they can cancel an appointment, which they couldn't thus lead to cancellation fee. Even worse the same time slot was given to two different patients, one got to see the doctor while the other didn't but was charged cancellation fee. Unethical to charge two patients for the same time slot of one doctor! The policies are set by the doctor. These policies show this doctor cares money much more than patients and service. Sad!

This was the first dermatologist I have ever been to, and I am very pleased with my experience. I went in to speak with the doctor about my hormonal breakouts, and was thinking accutane was the only medicine that I would want. They took a step back and had me try a couple of alternative treatments first, which seem to be helping. At my check up they have suggested a couple more treatments which I am going to try. They are very honest and courteous. My wait time is always less than 5 minutes to be taken back. I recommend checking them out!

The front desk ladies are just so welcoming. They have always accommodated me. The doctors are very easy and lovely to work with. If you have psoriasis and are sick of creams/Injections/pills please come here! The light therapy booth is life changing. You won’t find another light therapy booth in the area. I do not recommend Dr. Bansal. I agree with other reviews. So here is what happened. We made the appointment for our 3 months old daughter. Apparently, they moved to new office about few miles away. But they never bothered to change the address with the insurance company nor they informed us over the phone while making an appointment. We had 1:30 PM appointment so I got address from the insurance company and reached to the old address with my daughter and parents at 1:25 PM. It was closed. So I called them, then they mentioned they have moved. Whole family rushed to the car and went to the new given address, and reached there about 1:46 PM. When we arrived, we were told that we have to reschedule the appointment because we were late. I explained them whey we were late due to incorrect address with insurance and we were never informed about it. Even after requesting a lot to take us in even we have to wait a bit but they absolutely denied us. They were extremely rude. I told Dr. Bansal that after this experience we will not be back, then she said that is fine with them. Yes this is exactly what Dr. Bansal said. This is absolutely unprofessional. I am glad she did not see our daughter. If she is so rude and unprofessional how she would take care of our child. I absolutely do not recommend Dr. Bansal, specially with little one.

Dr. Bansal acknowledged me, my history & aesthetic needs in a detailed manner. Her consultation was thorough. I wanted a prescription level solution, but she offered over the counter samples instead. The OTC idea hasn’t worked well, but I like her approach to try the least potential side effects option first. I’ll call her for further advise & a treatment update.

I visited this office about a year ago for a free consultation, to have broken blood vessels in my face looked at. I came in and spoke with one of the practitioners and she gave me some advice, but said that there is no treatment at this office that they are able to do for this. Afterwards I was sent a bill for $189.00. To make a long story short, I called & explained that I was unwilling to pay $189, when I came in for a free consultation. Then a few months later after hearing nothing else from them I get a letter from a collections agency asking for the payment. When I called the office I was told that Dr. Cheryl Bansal is the one that deals with all of these issues, and after emailing her multiple times, she refused to call and speak with me about this issue, and said that the only choice I had was to pay the collections agency, and that it would now out of her hands. BEWARE of this business. I was given very bad customer service, even from Dr. Cheryl Bansal (owner of the practice herself). And also beware that the FREE CONSULATIONS that they offer to get you into the office ARE NOT FREE!!

one of the worst experience i had while resolving the bill issue. When i called them they said Cigna insurance is in network provider, however the bill was processed as out of network and i ended up paying the deductible. Lots of miscommunication between them and insurance provider

DO NOT COME HERE! I have Tricare but don't carry the worthless card on me bc 1. It illegible bc it's cheap paper, and 2. It doesn't have any useful information on it- like my husbands social security number needed to use it. They refused to call tricare and verify my insurance- simple 2 minute phone call. They care more about sticking to their inflexible inhuman routines than providing service for a patient NOW and in the future. I guess they charge high enough that 1 patient doesn't matter. I spoke to Dr. Bansal myself and she, like her office staff (but one), was cold and kept interrupting. If you want an office the values it's patient- don't come here.

My former Dermatologist PA left her practice and I decided to give a friends doctor (whom my wife visited once prior) a try. Dr. Bansal was the recommended doctor. I have been going to Dermatologists for over 40 years and was very impressed with the office and her personal demeanor-knowledge. The office personnel were very professional and efficient. Even having to fill out all the paperwork they had us in a room very soon after we arrived. The place is clean, bright and inviting in a way many offices (like my primary care physician) are not. I was very impressed with Dr. Bansal. Having been through this process so many times I asked questions that might have bothered another person, but she did a great job answering in the spirit they were intended. She was professional and efficient and her credentials are excellent. As of this writing, I expect Dr Bansal will be my permanent Dermatologist going forward. My wife feels very much the same way. Based on my first visit I would recommend the practice without reservations.
