Dr. Brown's bedside manner is outstanding! Very caring and knowledgeable Dermatologist.
This was my first visit with Dr. Brown, and I was extremely pleased. I was especially pleased with Dr. Brown's thoroughness. He was patient and took the time to address my inquiries. I did not feel rushed. My interaction wit staff was also pleasant.
Dr. Brown is an excellent dermatologist! He takes an wholistic approach with his patients. I really appreciate his questioning that leads to diagnosis that are accurate. The medications he prescribes are stellar in resolving my conditions. I am absolutely grateful!
Dr Brown has good bedside manner. Office operations are very efficient. His treatment method so far is better than previous providers I have visited for the same symptoms.
zero star I agree.I am not recomeneded to anyone for sure I am not go back again.
Knowledgeable with great bedside manner. Highly recommend Dr. Brown!
This is a clean, friendly environment and punctual. Dr. Brown and his staff were patient also, Dr. Brown is thorough, calm and very experienced. I hate needles however I didn’t really feel a thing they even made sure I was comfortable during all my visits especially my in and out surgery procedures.
Consistent excellent service!
Dr Brown always has the right awnsers. It is very hard finding a African American dermatologist. I am very happy I found him. His staff is so professional. If you are looking for a dermatologist then look no more.
great physician. After years of bouncing from one doctor to another for my eczema its great to have a professional that provides a thorough assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan. For the first time I feel like I have my eczema under control.
Excellent Care, Excellent Discussion! Highly Highly recommend seeing Dr Brown!
Wait time is too long.
Excellent Care! Have had problems with my skin for years and have never had better results. He is a definite "YES' for people of color. My dark spots have disappeared and I have seen his work from my friends and coworkers (Latin, African American, Mediterranean, African, Indian). Awesome skin care!!
Thorough and detailed visit. I've gone to a number of dermatologist throughout the years and he by far was extremely knowledgeable about skin. He really read though my medical history and took the time to talk through with me the various reasons why my skin was doing it's on variations of connect 4 on my face. It was important that he also understood ethnic skin types and how different medications interact with what he was considering prescribing me. He gave me a regimen to use as well as he discussed diet, exercise and journaling what was going on when I would have a breakout as well as while I am using the medication. Overall, a great and informative visit with Dr. Brown. I will definitely be referring him to others as well as returning. He was referred to me by a sister-friend from church. Much appreciated, and much needed quality medical care.
I’ve been going to Dr. Brown for 20 years. I love that he takes his time to evaluate my skin conditions, and discuss all treatment options. If you want a dermatologist that will listen to your concerns and map out a comprehensive plan to addresses your skin care needs, call Dr. Leon Brown.
Dr. Brown was attentive and helpful. The wait time was minimal.
I think he is very professional and honest. His humor will keep me coming back.
This is only my second time visiting a dermatologist. But this experience was so much different . Dr. Brown didn’t just prescribe medicine . He actually did a whole physical and wanted to get to the root cause of your visit. He is also very down to earth and does everything to make you comfortable ! I really enjoyed the visit.
Dr. Brown was very friendly and nice. He treated my son with patience and deep respect. We would definitely recommend Dr. Brown to others.
Always very attentive regardless of how many clients, never feel rushed.
I waited for an hr after my apt time to be seen
Dr. Brown is very knowledgeable and professional. He has a pleasant demeanor and I will definitely be returning.
Dr. Brown was able to see my daughter the same day and diagnosed her issue immediately. We have been running back and forth to other doctors for over a month trying to figure out what was going on. I had gone to two other doctors and one specialist who could not pinpoint the issue. I am thankful that he was so experienced and knowledgeable. Both he and his staff were very professional, polite and personable. No long wait time either.
Dr. Brown is the best. That's why I give him 5 stars. He's a great dermatologist.
Great doctor! I was about to be a bold person, but he helped me to regrow my hair back. He gave me only a shampoo and hair therapy to apply on my hair, that’s it. I got my full hair back. I highly recommend this gentleman. I was disappointed once because one of his female frontdesk representative (I don’t know her name, she speaks Spanis) was very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful to me over the phone. I was running late for an appointment to see the doctor, I called her ahead of time to cancel the appointment, but she said that she can’t cancel the appointment, and will charge me for canceling the appointment. As a loyal patient, I am upset and disappointed. Thanks.
I don't recommend this doctor! He prescribed an antibiotic for me which is Solodyn for acne because of a bacteria! He said that I have to take this medication forever! I went to a family doctor after two years of side effects, lost a lot of money, and no improvement! She told me I had to stop the antibiotic and started to take really great medication and it's organic medication, and now No side effects, No lost my money, and there is really great improvement!
I agree with the posts regarding the unexplained (and inexplicable) wait time - I left after an hour or so since I had another appointment to get to - and hadn't received any info as to how long the wait might be. I can see how a cardiologist or a pediatrician might back up patients because of unanticipated emergencies - but a dermatologist seems a stretch.
I was a little hesitant to try a new Dermatologist because have not had the best experiences, but Dr. Brown is AWESOME. He is very personable, I did not have a long wait at all, he is beyond thorough which is what I needed. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great Derm..
My face cleared up within 24hrs. The only place I go when I have a skin issue
Dr. Brown was easy to talk to and made my visit well worth the drive. His calm demeanor helped me to relax and I feel confident that he is knowledgeable in diagnosing my issue.
Dr. Brown is extremely knowledgeable and down to earth.
My only negative is that Dr Brown isn't a family doctor and can't be my all around doctor! He was so thorough and asked son many more questions than I expected from a dermatologist. He also looked into the possibility of an underlying cause instead of just treating the symptoms. All with a smile and friendly, relaxing conversation. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Brown.
Extremely patient and kind. Dr. Brown was very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns.
It was a bright Monday morning and I woke up to get ready for my appointment with Dr Brown. I arrived at 10:40 and my appointment was for 10:45. Everything ran smoothly with information given and pleasantries exchanged. I sat down to read a magazine and the time passed. I waited a bit more and read another magazine. Eventually I was able to read the entire saga of War and Peace, a great Russian novel. After that I went to sleep and woke up to find it was Tuesday at 8:30 in the morning and I had still not been seen. I believe Mr Brown was coming back from retirement and decided to see patients again. Well, by the time I was able to see him I grew a beard and gained 15 lbs. Long story short, you end up waiting up 2+ hours and you could of probably gotten two second opinions in the same time period. Don’t bother coming to an office that doesn’t respect your time. Move on fellow patient!!
Dr Brown gives his advice whether positive or negative and for the most part gives you the medications that u request..
Such a friendly doctor. He made me feel comfortable and explained me the whole problem. Thanks Doctor Leon
The wait was a little long. But, once I was able to talk to the Dr, he checked out my skin and gave me a prescription along with a list of safer products that I could use while monitoring my habits. So far, I can say that my skin is on the path to clearing up.
I wish I had more stars to give. His treatment and approach to my problem was excellent. He also referred me to a podiatrist that saw me the same day!
Dr. Brown probably a is good doctor and staff members are nice and friendly, but I was waiting for 2 hours for my appointment! 2 hours! And I was told to come one hour earlier then it was planned in the beginning .I could not understand that..
As soon as I needed a dermatologist again, I sought out Dr. Brown. He’s treated my entire family (with our sensitive skin challenges) before and I didn’t hesitate to return for treatment.
Dr. Brown is professional, patient and caring and worked masterfully with my teenage son who was anxious about getting an in-office procedure. His assistant was also a pleasure to encounter. I would recommend this practice without reserevation.
He's my dermatologist a very good one at that. He takes he's to listen to u and he's staff's her phenomenon. I have referred lots of clients to him.
Came here for the first time about a week ago to rectify some blemishes on my face. There is ample parking but you do have to pay to park. I think I paid 5 dollars for two hours...eh. My wait was the most annoying point, about 90 minutes...It was my first visit so maybeeee it's not always like this. (I will provide an update report on service as well as how the product worked in 3 months when I go back). Dr. Brown seems very thorough. It was nice that he looked at my skin in all areas (feet, elbows, back, etc), looked at the way my scars healed...noticed that I got a keloid removed on the back of my ear...pretty darn good! He is personable and kind. The lady at the front could be nicer, just saying. Didn't feel very welcome being a first timer...or just in general. He recommended this place that delivers the medication which was convenient... Lets see how this goes!
Visited the office twice and waited 2 hours each time. Was told to come back and schedule another appointment for the very reason I made an appointment in the first place. Dr. Brown prefers the sound of his own voice to that of his patients so good luck getting a word in edgewise and that's if you can even get in to see him. They intentionally overbook and provide mediocre care. Go someplace else.
Dr. Brown is friendly and professional.
I had an appointment booked for the afternoon, however, I received a phone call about coming in earlier. When I got there, not only was the room extremely full with barely anywhere to sit but I was sitting 40mins until my phone alarm went off for other priorities. I get up and asked when i would see the doctor both receptionist said within a half an hour. I asked them why would they suggest I come in at this time if I wouldn't be able to see anyone right away and they simply stated no one was here prior to me being on the way yet I asked everyone sitting in the waiting room and they stated they had been waiting for over an HOUR and a HALF. One man was even SLEEP. This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. And I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN A DOCTOR! Never again.
Wait to see Dr Brown was too long. Arrived at 9:09 for a 9:30 appointment. I was not seen until 10:40. Need to be more cognizant of tthe patient's time. I had no new issues/concerns, I just needed new prescriptions. I have been a patient for many years. He is an excellent clinician, just way too slow.
They just don’t make doctors like Dr. Brown anymore! He is committed to his patients and he cares about you as a person! He is detailed, effecient, innovative, and most importantly he listens. Dr. Brown has been helping my family for 16 years!
Very nice doctor and kind staff but that unfortunately does not make up for the extremely long wait times. This practice makes no apologies for how long they make you wait. Perhaps if they get a handle on their scheduling I would consider returning. But waiting an hour and a half to be seen by the doctor for 5 min is unacceptable in my book.
Dr. Brown is very attentive I would recommend others to seek his professional services. Also the staff were very pleasant and professional as well.
GOOD DERMOTOLOGIST! GOOD SERVICE, VERY ORGANIZED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Dr. Brown was very efficient and professional. He did a thorough examination of my condition and spent ample time with me, unlike a previous doctor. I am very satisfied and plan to continue to see him for all future dermatology services. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Brown actually took the time to examine me and asked about past medical history and medications. He looked at my face with a magnifying glass and made a diagnosis based on his professional experience. This is the first time I actually felt like a dermatologist cared about my skin concerns. He put me on a skin care regimen and told me to keep a journal of the way my skin reacts towards the prescribed medication. As most people with skin issues know, finding what works for you can be a trial and error process, but I am optimistic that with Dr. Brown's professional guidance my skin will be back to normal in no time!
Dr. Brown was positive, patient, knowledgable and helpful. I'd refer him to others. I really appreciated his promptness too, a rarity in medical practices. The staff was also helpful.
Dr. Brown is a great dermatologist! He's thorough and takes time with his clients so the wait is worth it!
O my God he was good now he is not got there at 11 30 was seen at 12 45 then they had no records of me when they should so I had to do all that over then he didn't give me no prescriptions at all he said find the pharmacy and he would call them in that way Monday today is Thursday and I played cash money 175 dollars and got nothing from them and the pharmacy said they called but didn't leave any prescriptions
The office staff is professional and courteous. I had a mole and a skin tag removed. Dr. Brown examined me first during our consult and advised me of the procedure. I was able to get an appointment the next day, due to a cancellation. As of writing this review, all went well. I would recommend him based on my two visits.
I've been to Dr. Brown's office twice, pleasant experience both times.
Dr. Brown genuinely and sincerely INTERACTS WITH AND LISTENS TO his Patients, an absolute rarity – but Necessity – in our healthcare system. It had been three years since my last visit with him. And when the need arose for another Dermatology consultation, I had only one professional in mind based upon my prior experience. Renewing this relationship ranks among the best decisions I or any provider has made regarding my health. Dr. Brown's Personality, Expertise, and Philosophy on Patient Care make him my #1 Choice and an Easy Recommendation.
