You must have seen that its rating is average, neither too high nor too low, and it's based on a high number of scores, so we may think that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they are happy, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set evaluations when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

HORRIBLE! Primary care and Pediatrics…. don't waste your time trying to make an appointment, only to have them rebook you due to the fact that they can't seem to keep any consistency with their providers. Within 6mo time, my daughter was switched to 3 different providers. You're better off going to patient first (on the first floor). Don't bother dropping off school/sports form it takes them 5-7 business days, not including the day you drop it off, and you MUST drop it off in person so that they can collect the whopping $10 co-pay for transcribing immunization dates (it takes time to do tough job like that, right?). The administrative staff (especially in Pediatrics) are miserable. If you don't have the personality to work with people, FIND A NEW JOB!!
This place has gone DOWN HILL! I have been a patient for years. Something has changed in the last year because it's impossible to get an appointment. I have a few serious issues and I am told I cannot get an appointment for 2 1/2 months! I am so disappointed because I have been such a huge cheerleader for Hopkins. I have no choice but to find a new PCP who cares more about their patients. Friends of mine have doctors who "reserve" appointments for existing patient and can get them in within a few days. 04/05/19: Had blood work come back and posted to MyChart over 10 days ago. Never received any follow up or explanation of the results. Completely unacceptable.
The Staff is professional quick and friendly
Been taking my children to Dr Pinto for over 13 years and very happy. He was always very sweet and kind to them when they were small giving them treats and even shark teeth once. Now teenagers, he jokes with them and is very down to earth. Couldn't be happier!
Waited in lab for nearly 2 hours just to have blood drawn. No excuse for wait time. Procedures ahead were just blood draws, also. Unbelievable!
Hey people pray to God is better than come to this place. You will get well faster praying then getting help from this place.
My doctor is amazing but the staff is terrible. Extremely rude and always have an attitude
Dr. Pinto is really good with our daughter. Staff is really nice and friendly.
Very rude on the phone. Will not give you any help. They just keep sending you to other departments. I spent two hours on the ohone with people being rude to me just to book an appointment!!!!
Love my Dr. Madder. Been my Dr. For over 5 yes. Would not go anywhere else. They have everything you need in one building love that part too.
I've been bringing my family here since they were on eastern Blvd. I followed them here. This place is awesome. Love them.
Been trying to schedule a apointment. For hip replacement surgery for. 30 days no one has returned my calls or even left a message back Terrible might have a better chance getting a lawyer to make a appointment for me worst medical team i have ever encounterd
I’ve been going to Dr. Goshal for years and followed her from Hartford County. Since she moved to this location is 4-6mo to see her for something that needs attention right away. I’m sad to say I will be looking for a new GP. This location is much more difficult than any other JH satellite office.
Pain management department is unacceptable! From the not so friendly inital reception to the inadequate physician service. Only good part was the medical assistant who took my vitals she was very polite and professional. Other than that they seem to have cared less of me as a patient!
Dr MacDonald is thorough, caring, and knowledgeable. Best primary care doctor.
Waited 2 months for new patient visit for my dad with Mark Phillips (not sure if I should even address him Dr.). No respect for patient whatsoever, major attitude at ANY question we asked and didn't even answer 1/3 of them. His default response is "I don't know, ask someone else". How do you call yourself a doctor when you don't care about your patient's best interest? He was your NEW pt, didn't do a single thing wrong to you. ABSOLUTLY horrific. Switched him immediately to Dr. Koay. She was my mom's doctor and seems much better so far.
Over an hour wait for Dr. Kelly for my very first appointment. I ended up leaving and then they stopped me and tried to reschedule me for another appointment. Nice effort but they didn't have any available times that would coordinate with my schedule. Thanks for a waste of my day off.
Although relatively new patients at JHCP-White Marsh, we have found our primary care physician, Dr. MacDonald, and the staff to be responsive to our needs and extremely accessible. If your previous primary physician was a small practitioner, there may be some degree of culture shock when initially visiting JHCP.
Had to get blood drawn in the lab at this place. Waited over an hour to be seen and the nurses in the lab were unfriendly. The nurse that actually drew my blood was not gentle at all and left a huge bruise and what looks like a blood blister on my arm where she had the needle. Most likely the needle cut inside my skin as she forcefully took it out. Too bad I do not remember her name.
Best Pediatric Department in Town
Great service, friendly employees. Quick and easy check in process. Exam rooms are clean and spacious. Lots of seating available in weight rooms. Reception stuff is ready to face, check with the doctor and answer questions. You can also schedule your next appointment here. Thank you!
There seemed to be alot of problems with billing that I always had to straighten out between my insurance company and the pediatrics billing office. There was no follow up by the billing people. We had a part time pediatrician for my daughter and because of that if my daughter was sick she normally saw whatever doctor was free to see her. Because of that her care was not consistent and the doctors didn't have a good grasp on her history. By the end, they were saying they couldn't get her in for a sick appointment for several days and we were going to Patient First so often we knew we had to change practices.
The Medical assistants in the pediatric department are horrible. The lack of professional from this type of institution is totally unacceptable. The worst I have ever encountered. Hopkins you can do better.
Do not take your child to pediatrics here unless you want them to be scared of the doctor for the rest of their life. I have a 1 year old and they were not gentle or friendly toward him at all. When giving him shots they acted like he was an animal and wrong for crying. I will never ever take another one of my children here.
Dr. Pinto was the first Pediatrician we saw. He was not bad, but he was not good. He always went straight to the computer, never showed any care or emotion, and never really seemed like he was a doctor for "children". Dr. Cutler is the WORST doctor ever and should not be allowed to practice medicine! She told me that food and other habits have no effect on the thyroid. My husband fell and hurt his back and was sent to the ER. We went to her for a follow up because they were not able to get all the xrays and she said he was fine without looking at a single xray. She sent him down for one xray and the technician asked about what had been done and seen and could not believe everything that was not done and not been looked at by the doctor. No care, no concern, no follow up- TERRIBLE!
AWFUL. My 2 year old son was NEVER able to get in day of. He was never ever able to be seen. He had 3 ear infections in 1 month and they kept telling us he wasn't able to be seen because they were to booked and to send him to urgent care. I expressed my concern that with urgent care he is seeing different doctors and nothing would ever be universal or consistent, they still could never do anything. I even called to be seen and they told me that I could see my doctor in a month because they are just that over booked. I am not one to complain but PLEASE consider going else where if you want to have a doctor that works with you and gets to know you. This is not the place for that. They are always too busy or over booked.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRACTICE. Dr. Fingerhood is AMAZING. Service is wonderful, staff is friendly, and the facility is clean. I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Fingerhood.
Never have I ever had a doctor that is so quick to reply and check on you to make sure you are doing better. It never takes long to get an appointment to be seen and all of the medical assistants are fantastic.
Always friendly and quick. Dr. Davidson is great.
Very slow, standing room only to get blood work done... .. appears to be only one person doing blood work...
I love my dr and my daughter's pediatrician at this facility. The billing staff and wait time for a telephone call is appalling. I have spent more than 30 mins on hold, and have waited almost a week for an email response. Also, they took over 9 months to bill me for a visit and when I called, they expressed that they have 3 years to do what they want. They don't care what effect it may have had for my insurance deductible or taxes. The staff is rude at the billing department... I am probably going to switch doctors because of the horrible customer service.
The doctors at hopkins are just great, mycharts is super helpful, but my bill has been screwed up before and the whole billing process is a bit unintuitive.
We go to Dr Batra for my daughter and shes an amazing pediatrician. With my daughter being born at 29 weeks, and spending 73 days in the NICU, it is really important to us to have solid medical professionals. The office is clean/nice, we are seen within 5 mins to our appt time and the staff is amazing. My friends have started taking their kids here. Highly recommend the Pediatric dept and Dr Bobby Batra!
Dr. Kelly Koay: So bad it justifies my first review of anything on the Internet. I went here as they had the soonest apt. for new patients, which was a respectable 5 weeks. The check in process is efficient and organized. The wait time was typical for any doctor. I saw Ms. Koay, technically an MD, but after my experience, I am questioning her credentials as she had no clue regarding the neuropharmacological effects of medications she was naming. She selectively focused on one medical issue I brought up and completely ignored all others. She did not listen to me. I literally got no response to some of my medical questions. She has a total lack of bedside manner and would not tailor her thought process in such a way to treat patients as individuals. She had a set check list and stuck to it. In the end, I did not get what I needed from her, nor did she offer viable (timely) alternative solutions, leaving me in a bind trying to find a new primary care doc. You may luck out and find another doc here that is great; do not see Ms. Koay, even though she may be available, as it will be a waste of your time and copay. During checkout they were unable to inform me what I owed, but this could be a reflection of the messy state of health insurance.
I have not been to the facility but the answer time was immediate, very friendly and extremely helpful, and got an appt. within two months which works perfectly for me. I have heard nothing but good things as I have researched and past experience with Johns Hopkins was wonderful. Looking forward to same service.
Had an appointment for 430. Arrived at 432. Was told I have to wait 30 minutes because they took the patient who had an appointment after me back first. So much for a 15 minute grace period. I shouldve just went to Greenspring
Dr Joe is now treating 3 generations of our Family , we are so blessed he is like Family to us and we wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you Dr Joe for your support and encouraging spirit threw out the years. xoxo
The pediatrics side is great. Our son's doctor is wonderful and they're always quick to get us in and out. The adult side is another story though. I'm currently here now for a new patient appointment. I've been here over an hour and still no doctor.
I have gone to JH White Marsh for years, I currently use and have used their specialty doctors (OB/GYN and Gastroenterologist) for years. However, I haven't been to a general doctor in 3 years because I haven't had a need. When I went to make an appt., they told me I was dropped because I haven't been there and they were not accepting new patients? I never received a letter notifying me that I could potentially be dropped. I inquired about the whereabouts of my medical records and they still have them. I am very, very disappointed in Johns Hopkins....I thought they were better.
Every time I bring my kids there to see their pediatrician, it’s becoming more, and more ridiculous. You have to sign in on a computer that takes a long time and it’s not the most user friendly system, where they have added more and more stuff to it. I hate it! After the visits they no longer give you a print out from your visit, and they refer you to use mychart, which is another ridiculous system set up by John’s Hopkins. I’m about to change my kids pediatrician at this point!
