I had the pleasure of visiting Dr Douglas Buethe not long ago..and I must say it was a very pleasurable exoerience. His staff was very friendly and professional. They made me feel welcomed. Dr. Buethe was very kind and compassionate. He made me feel like my concerns were valid and that he cared. His beside manner was great! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Buethe was very professional and helpful when it came to my issue. He helped me get a note for my work, understood my pain, was thorough, and advised on follow up. His medical assistant was really helpful and a good worker too. She supported him in the procedure and helped with my note. I will be back and recommend him.

From the dematologists I've seen at Hopkins, UMB and Mercy, Dr. Douglas Buethe is the most arrogant and rudest of all. He entered the room raging because I had a conference call at the time of my appointment. He yelled at me, saying that I was "incredibly disrespectful." Of course, I didn't plan it this way, but things happen. We then had a disagreement over the treatment, as I have been treated for my condition before and the course he was suggesting has never worked. So he dismissed me and told me to go find a different doctor. I'm very happy to have any dermatologist except him as my physician.
