DESCRIPTION

We've got all the opinions of people who bought the services of Carolyn J. Pass MD (Doctor) in Maryland.

At the present this firm has a rating of 2.2 over 5 and that rating has been based on 13 reviews.

As you can see the average score it has is very insufficient, and it's founded on a more or less high of scores, so the rating is rationally accurate, although it does not have a sufficient number of scores to provide it absolute credibility.

As you know, we don't usually stop to put reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

This Doctor belongs to the category of Dermatologist.

REVIEWS OF Carolyn J. Pass MD IN Maryland

Jean M Balent-Gephardt

Dr Pass is great. She has always been polite, informative and very friendly. She seems genuinely concerned with your well being and keeping your educated on your treatment and conditions. However, I have to admit that scheduling and timeliness of appointments is very bad at BOTH locations. Ive had 5 appointments with Dr Pass, using both locations where she sees patients. My SHORTEST wait time to see her has been 45 min PAST my scheduled appointment time. In other words, my appointment was at 9am, but I didnt see her until 945am even though I was there early. My other wait times have been 2.5 hours, 1.5 hours, 1 hour, and 1.45 hours. Even though I have a scheduled appointment, show up early and am fully prepared and checked in well before my appointment time, I usually wait almost an hour and half before I even get to see the Dr. My appointments take no more than 5 mins so the waits are way out of line. There are no medical emergencies causing the delays; it happens at both locations. Be prepared to walk into a full waiting room with at least 7-8 people ahead of you and sit there for at least an hour before you will see the Dr. None of the staff seem to acknowledge this extensive wait time, no one apologies or even gives a brief update to let you know if you will be seen anytime soon. Office staff are nice, but sometimes seem preoccupied with other things like scheduling personal lunches rather then attending to patients waiting in front of them to check out.

The staff there is rude. When I walked in and said good morning, they said nothing. I waited 45 minutes before I was finally brought to the back and waited another 10 minutes before I finally got up and left. Not to mention this office is dirty and outdated. Don’t waste your time.

I will NEVER recommend this Dr. She lied to my insurance company about the reason for my visit as well as listing prescriptions that she NEVER wrote for me!! In the end, she "paid the bill that she sent me out of good faith". Good faith? No, she was guilty and did not want the issue to be escalated. I don't care how many years of experience she has, what she did to me (regardless of how small it may be to her) was extremely unprofessional and I hope I was the first and last patient that happened to, even though I won't be surprised if I'm not!

Like others have said, do not waste your time here. The amount of time you have to wait is ridiculous. No matter what time you come you have to wait at least an hour and then when you do get called back you are waiting at least another ten to twenty minutes. When you were finally seen it only took a total of five minutes for her to diagnose me and give me medication that somewhat did it's job. So unless you like waiting I would not go here.

I went in today for the first time today. I noticed right off the back that it was super busy. So I expected to wait a while. The ladies that work the front desk and assist the doctor were very nice. While it took 1.5 hours to be seen, I was very satisfied with the level of service Doctor Pass gives as well as her assistants. If you don't expect to wait to be seen, well then you are a moron. Skin Cancer is huge and many people are seeking the expertise of Dermatologists. I only rated 4 stars because the wait was a bit long but... The Doctor cared, she took her time. She explained the type of skin cancers and what to look out for. She also suggested some creams to help with some other skin problems. If you give the Doctor a bad review because it's busy, you are really an idiot. Once seen, the care is what matters.

Amber Nelson

It took 6 weeks to get an appointment and then when I arrived I waited over an hour in the waiting room. The actual appointment lasted less than 15 minutes. Super busy office!

Candace L

She doesn't even deserve one star. To begin with, being that I was a new patient, she came in and got right into her cancer scare speech and using sunblock. She came across as cold and abrasive. Her office is old and dirty-exam rooms have carpeting gross! She addressed my issue and when I asked her a question about another area on my skin her response was "didn't you come in for xyx". Anything I asked her her response was rude and short. And yes just like 90% of the other reviewers i did have to wait Over an hour past my appointment time until I was seen. To the reviewer that believes waiting over an hour is ok, you're the true moron. You have a choice when it comes to your providers people- don't settle for this trash.

I do not recommend. Front office staff combative and does not inform or receive new patients well. Terrible customer service.

This women is awful. Please do not waste your time with her. She is rude, the place is dirty and she does not know what she is talking about. Not surprise that she was rated low. I never write reviews, but I had to write one for her.

Boyd Pusey

Super knowledgeable dermatologist. She has helped keep my skin cancers under control. I would suggest early morning or late evening appointments. Some patients she sees are getting new information that requires an explanation.
