Stars are for the friendly staff and convenience of the hours. I guess we are too busy and lazy to change practice for several years, besides our kid only do annual there once a year, and they are good in doing that and even blood work in house which is such a bonus. So no need to change. But once the kids got sick, it would be problems. Last year, my daughter was sick, and Dr. Mayol only prescribed some over the counter medication. It didn't work, didn't do harm either. But with kids, they naturally grow out of illness. So it was OK. If you want the detail reviews on the doctors, yelp has plenty of them, and over the years, we have seen three doctors there: Dr. Mayol, Dr. Walters, and Dr. Deutsch, I have to say I agree to those reviews now. Dr. Walter is pretty honest, but the other two doctors, not so much. I always felt being judged if I ask questions, they like to "standardize" the kids. If there is something kids mentioned, or a test that is slightly over/under the standard, they would love to refer you to specialists(spend hundreds of dollars for nothing). I feel like they don't want to take the responsibility of telling you or your child it's going to be OK. Very irresponsible doctors, especially after seeing some responsible and honest doctors. Zero star for the doctors there.

i only gave a low rating today because the receptionist Meredith was completely unhelpful to a parent who has a tight deadline for immunization for a college scholarship. Meredith was rude and unhelpful (despite my begging) and dismissive. My husband said the other receptionists we've engaged are all very nice and friendly. We have been coming to Dr MAyol for years and years and my kids love her and this clinic but this woman who answered my call today kinda ruined our love for this clinic.

Had a visit for my child there, and the doctor did not give the correct diagnosis despite the fact that the symptom was very obvious. We went to another pediatrician outside of the Bethesda Pediatrics who immediately gave the diagnosis upon seeing us. The doctor we visited in the Bethesda Pediatrics was definitely not a competent doctor. We had a bad experience, would not recommend to anyone.
