Reviews of CCS Pediatrics: Gerard Rubin, DO (Doctor)

My children used to go to CMMC pediatrics. While the care they received was OK, my children would rarely see a doctor for longer than 10 minutes. There was no time (or no interest) to really listen to me as a parent. They also have a high turnover rate (my children changed PCPs at least 3 times). Frustrated, I switched to CCS Pediatrics. I chose Dr. Rubin because of his impressive resume and the fact that he is a DO. They, in my opinion, tend to treat the whole patient, rather than just focus on the symptoms like most MDs. From the beginning, Dr. Rubin seemed genuinely caring and spent an entire hour getting to know my son and me. He quickly arranged for referrals and proper care, and followed up as promised. On one occasion when Dr. Rubin was not available, my son was seen by Dr. Libby, and he was equally patient, caring and knowledgeable. The staff and nurses were also very nice and very accommodating. If I need an appointment, I can get one quickly. Today we had an appointment (Dec 23rd) and the entire staff was dressed to celebrate the holidays and my son thought it was great. In all, if you are looking for a great place for your children's medical care, this is the one.
