Dr. Tate delivered my first baby she is amazing and is very blessed but what she does every time I had a visit it felt like I was visiting one of my good friends she took the time to explain everything and made us definitely feel very welcome her and her staff and also the hospital staff is very great too I wouldn’t have it any other way but to have her as my OB doctor

I really recommend her she is great. She makes sure everything is good and she always has an answer for your question. She has a wonderful staff. This was my first pregnancy and she made everything seem so easy I was nervous and she made it where I wasn’t as nervous about anything.

My husband and I were expecting our little one, and sadly our baby did not make it, and we suffered the loss of our baby. Dr Tate and her staff were amazing. I was hurting emotionally, and physically, but the staff at the hospital made things so much easier. Dr Tate performed my D&C and was very kind and took the time with us that we needed. I greatly appreciate her. This experience was horrible and heartbreaking, but we really appreciated the treatment we received from this hospital! If we are ever blessed to have another baby, we will definelty return to Opelousas general & Dr. Tate's office!
