My first visit to have surgery done was excellent, Dr.Prather & his staff we friendly from start to finish. They make you feel important to them. My surgery was on my face & you can barely see the scar. I am so glass i was recommended to them by my dematoligist.. 1 100% recommend sanova dermatology.

I had researched Dr. McBurney's background and read several of her clinical studies which she was an author/co author so obviously she is an expert in her field. The first time I called, Ms. Melissa was the first person I spoke with, and she was very sweet. She patiently explained to me the process since it would have been my first time going to a dermatologist for the treatments I wanted. However, the next time I called, I spoke with another woman. I found her to be rude and impatient. I sincerely hope that was a one-time experience and the environment is not like that all.

I had a skin cancer(basal cell). I spent very little time waiting compared to most doctors offices. Staff told me exactly what would happen. Dr. Prather showed me a couple of videos that describe the procedure and how successful it was and so forth and it was very reassuring. The procedure did not take long: less than an hour and I was fortunate that it only took one attempt to remove my cancer. My recovery time was basically zero. I had no pain and went back two weeks later and got an all thumbs up. Two week check up took less than five minutes. I can’t imagine how much better cancer treatment could possibly be. Fortunately some skin cancers are apparently some of the easiest cancers to treat. My nurse, Donna, was a pleasure to work with, as well as my first staff member (don’t recall her title), Ashley. I give Sanova Dermatology my highest possible recommendation. - Dr. David P. Stevens
