During prenatal visit they kept changing my due date and didn't feel it was important to inform me. They changed it atleast 3 times and didn't tell me. I had the worst birth experience ever. I went in for a c section on April 10th 2017 with Dr. Erin. I checked into the hospital and while in the room they set me up to wait in before I went in for my c section it was about 6 people who decided to come into my room and stand there and basically have a meeting. They where having a full conversion like my room was a meeting room. The converstion lasted for about 10 minutes, Very disrespectful. Then I went into c section and was so uncomfortable could barely breath and they didn't care. Erin took forever to do my c section I felt like I was gonna die. The oxygen tube was horrible. They had everybody you could think of in the room like it was a freak show. They don't care about your comfort at all. I gave birth to my daughter and the people at the hospital where very stingy With the baby diapers. Whenever I was out of them while there I had to keep calling the front desk over and over just to get someone to bring me some. My visitors were very uncomfortable and didn't like the treatment the hospital gave. They didn't come on time with the pain meds. They barley cleaned my daughter after birth, they didn't press on my stomach or help clean me up or change the pad. My grandma did all of that and when she wasn't available I did it myself. They gave me regular food instead of liquids right after my c section and i kept throwing it up. When it came time to be discharged I got my discharge papers I was suppost to be getting ibuprofen and oxycodone. After my discharge erin changed my meds to just oxycodone and i called to speak with her they put her dad on the phone. I asked him why wasn't i prescribed ibuprofen he said ochsner does prescribe meds you can buy over the counter. Which is a big lie my cousin had just given birth to her daughter two weeks before me and they prescribed it for her. I explained to him i didn't have the money to get the ibuprofen because I had just had a baby and I spent my last on stuff she needed and I didn't get paid again until the 20th. He said so you don't have anyone you could borrow from. I said no. He said so you expect me to feel sorry for you because your broke and can't afford to pay a few dollars on ibuprofen so i just hung up in his face. I was in pain the whole time. Erin and her dad are not good doctors and they are rude. I would rate this hospital a -1000 if i could.

Three years ago I delivered my daughter here. The care was wonderful, I was so humbled to have the midwives and nursing staff take such good care of me. I highly recommend them then. A week and a half ago, I had the experience of delivering another daughter there, this time sadly she was a miscarriage at about 15 1/2 weeks. I cannot speak highly enough of the kindness and care during such a sad time. They made the experience a joy with their sweetness even though it was so very sad. Cannot say enough good things about them.
