Good doctor! Nice staff!

I had Dr Alleyn as my doctor to deliver my daughter, and decided to go with another doctor for this pregnancy. My new doctor has now paired with her office so I still see the same staff from last year. As a doctor she is great, listens and reassured me on any questions I had. The only thing I have a problem with is the staff. They need to be more discreet with information they are talking to you about in the waiting area. You as a receptionist should not be talking so loudly that the entire waiting room knows my business. And if you continue to dicusss my business with your co-workers even though the window is shut and everyone can still hear you, then maybe you should keep your rude comments to yourself or when the patient is not in the waiting room listening to you. This staff needs education in manners. That was just plain rude and embarrassing.

Dr. Amanda and her nurses are amazing, she really cares and such a sweetie! My wife went to her for years and loved her. However her front and back office staff are horrible. So rude and talk to you as if they try to be little you, some become very nasty. This pushed my wife away after dealing with it so long. A true shame, because Amanda is one of the best. If she gets rid of those sour apples she has then it would be a lot better!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this office. When I first moved to the area a year ago and asked around for a good OB this office was recommended to me by 3 different people. I personally see Dr. Alleyn who is wonderful and has great bedside manner. I like her relaxed but informative manner. I have also had interactions with the other doctors when she had an emergency and they have all been so nice so far. Literally everybody in the office is super pleasant to work with from the front desk ladies, to the ultrasound technician, the nurses, and even the ones that draw blood--everyone has been friendly. The office just feels safe and as I'm just a handful of weeks away from having my first child I couldn't be more thankful to have this office as part of this journey. I always make a comment about how much I like this office when I leave an appointment. You won't be disappointed! ps I hardly take the time to write reviews but when someone does their job exceptionally I want others to know about it! :)

She could not get me in even though I was in pain...3 weeks I dealt with it by myself. I would not recommend this doctor.

I have to say Dr. Alleyn and her staff are probably the best gyno office I've been to. Super efficient and friendly but not overly familiar or chatty. She is direct and easy to talk to and her staff follows up with calls. LOVING my IUD.

LOVE Dr. Alleyn! So calm and honest from trying to get pregnant, through my whole pregnancy and my early emergency delivery. I knew I was in good hands from start to finish. Great post op as well. Great staff, always helpful and and me feel like I made the right choice. And oh how amazing is Lafayette General!!! So glad I didn't have to deliver anywhere else!
