I had many complications during my pregnancy, and he was ALWAYS there to help me and make sure i was taken care of and comfortable. Great bedside manner, and overall awesome dude. The day after taking a home pregnancy test and finding out I was, in fact, pregnant, I ended up in the emergency room in Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Dr. Delhomme was the OB on call that night, and I couldn't be happier that he was. He has been the greatest doctor I have ever had. Since I am a type 1 diabetic, my pregnancy was very hard on me. I had to take ungodly amounts of insulin daily as the pregnancy progressed, and even with so much, my blood glucose levels would still be high, which put my baby at risk. I was in constant pain, and had preeclampsia on top of it all. I had to go have fetal testing done 3 times a week in the last month of my pregnancy. I say all that to say this: My fiance and I made the very difficult and VERY talked out decision to have my tubes removed following my planned c-section. This decision wasn't made lightly, and Dr Delhomme agreed and had my back when I told him my decision. He explained thoroughly the implications of my decision and the risks as well. Throughout my pregnancy, friends and strangers alike second guessed my decision and gave me hell for my choice, including the nurses in the O.R. the night of my c section. Dr. Delhomme shut them down and told them all that he was on board with my choice and that he had my back. He also came and saw me in the recovery room and told me that the decision I made was a HARD one, but that he truly believed as I did that it was the RIGHT choice. Dr Delhomme is an amazing OB/GYN who will take amazing care of you and your unborn baby. He is super informative. If you're at an appointment and have a million questions, he never rushes, he will answer every question in depth and make you feel at ease. He's got great bedside manner and he truly cares about his patient. I would highly recommend him to any one looking for an awesome OB/GYN. I only wish he could be my primary care MD! HE found my DKA when I went to the ER that night, after my endocrinologist (a doc that specializes in Diabetes) missed it. And after the amazing care he gave me throughout my pregnancy, I have a healthy baby girl! Thank you, Dr Delhomme! Please never leave Leesville and be my Gynecologist forever! Please use him if youre looking for a GOOD doctor!

Dr Delhomme is absolutely amazing! Throughout my entire pregnancy, he was always there. This is the sweetest and most caring doctor I have ever been to. He delivered my second son last week and made the whole process go smoothly, making sure I was always comfortable and aware of what was going on. If my fiance and I decide to have another child, I will definitely be going back to Dr Delhomme! Highly recommend!!
