At the present this firm has a rating of 3.4 stars out of 5 and that score is based on 32 reviews.

As you can see the average of ratings is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it is based on a high number of reviews, so we may think that the score is very credible. If people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, it works.

REVIEWS OF Audubon Dermatology IN Louisiana

The staff is so horrible and rude. They left me on hold for 15 minutes and when I called back they had no idea I was on hold nor did they apologize. The worst part is that they put on hold again. They do not know what services and/or prices their practice offers. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional group and I have lived in several major big cities and have gone to many dermatologists.

Alvin Gordon

Ashely is very rude.

Dinah Payne

Unbelievably efficient, kind, helpful, fun; Raven and Victoria ROCK, as does Dr. Jackson!

Doronda Placide

This is by far the best Dermatologist I have ever gone too. Not only did I see major results that no other dermatologist or natural product could give me, but the doctors make you feel like they really care. So if you are looking for a great dermatologist look no further and make your appointment today.

Recently went in for a service and the sweet little red head girl was so fantastic! She made me feel like I was someone special. I will be returning in the future.

TO EVERYONE THAT HAS INSURANCE DISREGARD THIS MESSAGE AND JUST KNOW THAT IT'S 5/5 STARS. To those that pay out of pocket. My experience with this place ranged from out of this world to frustrating. My doctor was fantastic and helpful. She even waved some out of pocket fees to make my visit more affordable. However, it seems that there is some disconnect between the doctors/practice and the lab work/fees. I was told be my doctor that the payment for the lab fees would not be over 80 dollars. I genuinely believed they thought this information was true, but they were wrong. The lab charged 180 dollars and left me out of budget since I already scrounged every dollar I could to get to the doctors office. All in all I'll give them a 4/5 since the actual doctors were fantastic but take whatever info they have about lab payments with a grain of salt. I honestly don't think they know about DermaLabs exorbitant fees. This problem only applies to people who pay out of pocket though. Again, if you have insurance this place is probably the best place you can go to.

Audubon Dermatology has been so accommodating to me. I have gone for several Excela V sessions to spot treat red and brown spots with so much success. The spider veins that were on my face for years are now gone. After several sessions of that someone recommended IPL. I do wish someone has suggested is sooner but I did my first session and the results are amazing. If a machine doesn't work, they will comp you for your time spent without services in a generous way. It keeps me as a patient of theirs and I'll be there for as long as I'm in New Orleans. Thanks to the aesthetics team who do such great job at their skillset!

Arrived on time for my appointment. Waited 20 minutes in the waiting room. Once i got into the patient room a woman came right behind me and asked me a few questions on why I was there. I waited another 20 minutes until finally the doctor came in, and she was there for 7 minutes tops. She was not thorough at all.I felt as If she rushed me, over talked me, and really didn't put in the time and care as you should, especially me being a first time patient. The issue i am having she didn't even look at it much, she just fingered around my hair and didn't really look. I feel very dissatisfied. I feel screwed over, and I felt she didn't take the time. Period. I left out of the office close to tears, and byt he time i got to the car i was balling like a baby. I will not be back. The worst.

After waiting 7 weeks for a much anticipated appointment for a severe painful skin problem, I was hustled in and out of my appointment in less than 5 minutes with a prescription for a 200 dollar (co-pay) cream for seriously problemed skin condition on my feet. Today, I saw Leon Watkins, a podiatrist in Metairie, who within minutes removed and began treating damaged skin on my feet properly. Unless you are a well to do client looking for 2000 dollar a session face peels, look elsewhere for serious dermatology.

Terrible experience. Office staff are not trained on how to handle billing and standard office procedure. I worked with them for months to obtain the proper referral to make an appointment. I was informed that was received and we made the appointment which took another 2 months. A few days before the appointment, I receive a confirm text, which I followed the steps and confirmed. Then, the day before the appointment I receive another text informing me the appointment was cancelled because I did not fill out new client paperwork. I go online to locate said paperwork and cannot locate anything on their website. So, I call the office and get their voicemail, leave a message. No return call. I call again the morning of the appointment , we have waited 2 months for, and I am hung up on twice. I call the nurse and she puts me through to Kalyee who informs me they cannot see me because I have medicaid and they do not want to accept it even after obtaining proper referral and I did not submit my insurance information however that was never requested until the appointment was cancelled. Either they are highly incompetent or terrible people. Either way I would never refer them. I will be filing a complaint. Everyone should have access to proper care regardless of insurance carrier. On a side note, I am telling people at work what is happening and my co-worker informs me she went there a few years ago for a skin condition and was told it was psychological and referred to psychiatrist. Only to find out recently that is was diabetes. So apparently the doctors are not any more knowledgable than their staff.

The doctors and nurses are all extremely kind, personable and professional. Dr. Jackson answered my questions clearly and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

Audubon Dermatology is the best in the area. All of the employees are knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. I visited with Dr. Jackson and she did a fantastic job. I will definitely be back in the future and I would highly recommend Audubon Dermatology to anyone.

I just had quite a negative experience on the phone with one of the staff members. I was calling to cancel and rearrange my appointment and I feel that the call was not handled appropriately. I will not be re-booking my appointment.

I went to Audubon for a impacted facial gland . She looked at it said she wasn't sure what she could do with it. I got no info for what I went for. So I went to another Dermatology office the following week. They took care of the spot and said you have brown cancerous cell on the side of it that was brown, and they burned it off. If I wouldn't had gone to another Doctor this would have grown. Audubon saw the brown spot but said nothing. I would never advise anyone to go there. What a waste of my money to find out nothing.

I have been going to this practice for years and have seen both doctors. Never, have either of them looked at my entire body to check for problems. They are always in a huge hurry, talk over me, and show little interest in my presenting problem. The most recent issue was seborrheic dermatitis on my face. Boring to the doctor, torture for me. She prescribed two expensive prescriptions which work up to a point, but are not considered safe for long term use. I have been struggling with this for six months. Recently, at my primary physician appointment, I told her about it. She seemed puzzled as to what the problem was and asked why I didn't just wash my face with Neutrogena T/Gel? So, I did and the problem was gone in one day and has not returned. I will look for a dermatologist who shows an interest, listens as much as talks and isn't above treating actual problems such as a case of dermatitis or poison ivy.

Highly recommended. I went in for a suspicious mole and Dr. Jackson did a full body examination. I was a tad nervous, but the entire office was very calming and very professional. I also received my results extremely quickly which helped ease my nerves. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff and doctors are rude rude rude! I've lived in most major cities, including LA & NY, and this place doesn't even live up to standard clinic practices in any of those places. If you treat customers like the way Audubon Dermatology does, you would most likely close down due to losing customers. But for this small town, either people don't have many choices or they don't know any better, this place seems to get high ratings. Ignorance is bliss I guess. People, you do not need to be treated like crap when getting service done and pay a lot of money for it. There are better options out there!

Great staff and friendly doctors. I called to cancel day of because of an emergency and they were nice enough to not charge me for the appointment. Thanks folks!

Catherine Buckingham

What a great experience! When I first walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the pristine yet comfortable waiting area. The entire staff blew me away with their kindness and knowledge of skin care, from the receptionist, to the estheticians, to the Docs. The wait wasn’t long at all, which was another nice surprise. Not to mention, Dr. Hooper is a cosmetic genius when it comes to Botox!

Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. I have been going to her for years with NO problems. They are always nice to me and have never had any issues. If you want them to look at your WHOLE body you have to ask them too or they will only look at the problems areas you want. I know they have had issues with front desk people that is about it. If they don't take medicaid then they don't take medicaid and some doctors don't take Coventry, and some only take Blue Cross. If she doesn't take your insurance and you want to go to her then pay out of pocket!!! They are a great practice and I won't be going anywhere else. She cleared my skin and it has never looked better. She has made scars go away and helped me all my problems. Some of the reviews don't even sound believable. Always needs someone to blame for your errors.

Dr. Jackson does a great job, but is always in a huge hurry. I would recommend having all your questions written down before you make an appointment. She has a lot of patients to see.

Very unhappy with my experience

Greeneyes Jackson

I was scheduled an appointment for a Vitalize or Revitalize peel and when I got there the whole game plan changed. I could NOT get what I was to pay for. I am so unhappy because what ever happen to "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT?" I will not be returning no more because I was not satisfied. The tech that waited on me was afraid to touch my skin. She barely touched it and missed all the problem areas. I had to ask her to do my neck. I think they are trying to string me along with procedures that I know does not work to suck as much money as possible out of me. I want a REFUND. I am not pleased!
