This is more a rating of Google: adults who need an evaluation, Google lied. They don't evaluate anyone over 18 here. In regards to Weisskopf Evaluation Center, I asked about places that actually could help and they referred me to the Lee Clinic-which has nothing whatsoever to do with ASD and whose receptionist was all about telling me that I didn't qualify without bothering to ask any questions first. So, I guess they both fail miserably as healthcare providers. As for being uncaring and unhelpful, they excel.

This place is amazing. The doctors are so sweet and you can tell they know what they are doing. There's a long wait list but we got in within 2 weeks through First Steps.

Overall, my wife and I are extremely disappointed. We wasted time and money just for them to tell us what we already knew. We got no referrals, not help, and no “what do we do next” answers. The end product of over a year of waiting for appointments was no help and no closer to getting help for our son. Details: Our son has Sensory Processing Disorder. We started this process over a year ago by getting a referral from our pediatrician. It took eight months to get an appointment with the OT, ST, and Nutritionist. The Psychologist should have been included in the appointment, but they were sick. The three individuals who did his assessment agreed with some of the items we have difficulty with, but offered no actual advice or referrals to get my son help. His largest struggle is focus in school especially once he gets frustrated. It took an additional 3 months after that to see the Psychologist, whom we believe misdiagnosed our son. The Psychologist Eva Markham diagnosed ODD. We were surprised by this, because he didn’t seem like that to us. We ended up filling out a BASC 3 Analysis along with his teacher and the analysis doesn’t support ODD at all but does support our original issues we brought to them which are primarily Anxiety. When we asked “what’s next” or “what do we do now” we were told nothing. There was some kind of therapy (I cannot remember what my wife told me) that my wife asked about and she said he cannot do that until he is 8 yrs old (currently 6). We researched online and he could have started at age 3. After a year of waiting and putting our son through a bunch of tests and analysis that he now is starting to understand what’s going on we have no help, no referrals, and we know nothing new that we didn’t know already. We now are back to square one in trying to find something to help our son and have paid money for them to misdiagnose him and tell us information that we already knew.

Took my son here two years and they failed to listen to me on my concerns they have failed to get my son's medication right. I may not be a Doctor but I'm a parent and I know what my son needs. Thank God that we found a peditrican willing to help get my son straightend out.

I had read a few reviews of this facility before taking my daughter to be tested and ultimately diagnosed with ASD. Their team of doctors that she was seen by, the reception staff, basically any person employed in that building were incredible from my experience . excellent bedside manner, they were sensitive and compassionate towards our needs and what we were dealing with. it is a beautiful facility that isextremely kid friendly SPD friendly and any other behavioral type issues or neurological issues. clean, quiet and I'm so glad I didn't cancel after I read the bad reviews online .That's the reason why I am writing this review in case there is a parent like me a year ago. I was terrified that I had picked the wrong place to wait for an appointment t for months and months and months thinking it was a terrible place and I hadn't done my best research to find the best resources and the most qualified and experienced professionals to thoroughly evaluate where she was developmentally. It took me a year to remember to write this review in favor of them and I had out of 10 out of 10 experience. But when somebody is either offended or someone rub them the wrong way or they actually just caught somebody on a bad day and really did have a bad experience with them people are much quicker to say something bad about a place then to praise them and my apologies to the Weisskopf Center for not doing it then. I appreciate your staff and it won't be much longer and we will be seeing you for a re-eval and I know once again you'll be able to point us in the directions I need to go and inform us on the resources she has available to her that I might not know anything about. So to any parent or guardian considering using the Weisskopf center, you and your child are in the most capable hands.

This place cares more about money then the care of a child. My son was on the wait list for over 2 years. Finally get an appt to be told we had to pay a fee. We were unable to come up with that amount of money and the staff said "pay or cancel". It's very very dishearting that they care more about money then helping a child that is in NEED of medical help.

Great fast testing and nice People. But whomever deals with billing is terrible! Twice now I've gotten a letter from my daughter's Medicaid about payment issues because no one on your side os submitting anything properly. I called insurance and was told it is covered for her and that your office is the issue. They said if I don't hear back from anyone that billing will need to speak with coverage at insurance because this is very unacceptable.. I would hate for this place to get into trouble over this but the reality is you can't keep doing this to people.
