This place has helped my son live a normal life! We had been sent around in circles to other drs who wouldn't take the time to find out what was wrong. The wait is kind of long because the doctors actually take their time to listen to you and examine the child! I would rather wait for a good dr like that than to hurry in and out and never be heard. The staff were all extremely helpful to us and very personable. I would recommend any of the UofL Pediatrics any day! Especially Dr. Maria Khan!

I scheduled an appointment for my toddler 8 weeks ago for the first available and received a phone call 6 days before his appointment that we’ve waited 2 months for, stating that the doctor has had a shift in his schedule and now they can’t see him for another 6 weeks. No apologies or anything. When I asked for recommendations to help with symptoms in the meantime I was offered no help at all. If there were any other options in the area I would definitely go somewhere else.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I thought Clark County was bad in Indiana, but this place takes the cake. Been here an hour in the waiting room and more keep coming and going in front of us. Terrible

Unfortunately we have been in the same boat as most of these other parents and children. My daughter has had sever stomach pains and unable to use the restroom very well. We have been doing this for a few months now with no real answers or hope. My daughter has hosimoto autoimmune disease. But it doesn't affect her bowls and things. So instead our appointment are trials of everything with no real answer other than my daughter needs to see a therapist because anxiety can cause stomach. This isn't in her head it's physical. But,they act as if we don't know anything. I've been her mom longer than the doc we see has been out of school and I know my daughter better than anyone. I'm not stupid it's a real physical pain to where my daughter dosen't leave home for nothing

I’m so disappointed in my experience here. This is my second visit and both occasions were a disaster. My initial appointment for my daughter was rescheduled twice. When she was finally seen in the clinic we waited an hour and a half to be seen. The second time I showed up, the receptionist told me they had bumped my daughter’s appt. and that I should have gotten a cancelation call. Clearly I didn’t get the call becuz I missed a half day of work and pulled my daughter out of schooll for nothing. They tried to make it better by having my daughter seen my another doctor. Only we haven’t been anyone yet. Been sitting in the examination room for an hour and a half. I mostly like will transfer my daughters care elsewhere but we are right in eh middle of test. What are the options? I’m going to see a patient care advocate can help

Chose to drive 2 hours away to Cincinnati, this place is awful, no real results and after trying to get our second appointment (I try to give benefit of the doubt), we were called and rescheduled three times, each time pushing the appointment out another month. After the third reschedule we said forget it and have happily took our child hours away to never have to return here. Absolute joke.

Dr. Khan saw my daughter in the hospital and seemed very motivated to do testing and figure out the underlying disorder causing my daughter's infections. Once out of the hospital she repeated a test for a disorder she ruled out in the hospital, said she would refer for a barium study, and sent us for X-Rays that day. When I pushed for more testing and doing whatever possible to figure out the underlying etiology is she had no other suggestions and kept repeating "We may never figure out what it is". Certainly not with that attitude! They had our appointment written down wrong and we had to wait over an hour to be seen. After the appointment they called me saying they received a referral from our pediatrician and needed to schedule the initial exam. I told them not only had we already been seen, but we already had our second appointment scheduled (3 months out). The X-Rays resulted in a medication being added, but there have been no check-ups or follow-ups to see if the medication has been effective. They have called to push our follow-up appointment back. It's 5 weeks past the initial appointment and the barium study still hasn't been ordered. When I call it just rings and rings and then hangs up, never going to voicemail. Entirely unprofessional and seemingly doesn't care about patient care or follow-up at all.

Our daughter was seen by the NP 3 months after her symptoms of nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and elevated temperatures began - the first available. She visited the ER three times around this appointment. On the third visit (after we'd seen the nurse), Dr. Khan was consulted by the ER doc, and a study was ordered which resulted in an abnormal result (but not an underlying diagnosis). We wanted to see a physician and called back to request an appointment with Dr. Khan, whom we saw a month after the abnormal test (first available). She was condescending, superior, and impatient with both me and my child. She did give us plenty of time, but gave little to no credence to my concerns or questions. She made me, my husband, and my daughter uncomfortable. When we were told our daughter needed a scope, they wouldn't allow us to see a different doc because we "already had two opinions" (the first being the nurse's, who told us our daughter was just constipated). We will be taking our child to Cincinnati Children's for further testing and help. Don't even waste your time on this office. The front office staff was great, but let me know they are seriously understaffed and have a lot of turnover. After visiting both a nurse and a doctor here, I understand why.
