It's average, but depending on who you see it can be just average or a nightmare.
I saw one doctor, DT, who let me throw up and pass out due to IUD insertion pain, as well as not tell me beforehand that I was getting a wand ultrasound rather than a non-invasive one. There were a couple of other appts where she completely ignored my pain levels and history, and generally didn't listen/was rough.
K. Harris has already been mentioned on here, and she's ok. Has always been late but at least will listen and address your problem correctly. She's also friendly, but don't be too long-winded or she'll stop listening. She also seems to have a lot of people in training under her so you'll likely be treated by one of them while she observes. You'll be fine. They will try to make you comfortable as the situation allows.
The nurses will actively gossip about you/your problem right by your door. The walls and doors are thin. You will have to wait quite a long time even if you made an appointment and came early to fill out paperwork.
This place is very obviously geared towards pregnant people, and most of the rooms have pictures of babies plastered on the walls. Not very LGBT+ friendly, will not use correct pronouns on file or other accommodations like that.
The front desk ladies have all the info about everything and are the most professional personnel at the practice. You have the approach the desk when you first walk in, don't just sit down though. They're usually pretty busy but will get you all the paperwork, check-in and such right away. Will also give extra info/insight after the appt if you ask.
Your experience will really depend on the nurses and doctors, which are always a mixed bag at UK healthcare. Expect a wait. It will probably be uneventful for you.
