I have had the best experiences at Total Woman, and would highly recommend them. The office staff is always friendly and accommodating. The nurses are extremely helpful, caring, considerate, and understanding. The doctors are very compassionate, informative, and personable. They personally call you with your test results and are available for any questions you may have. Total Woman also has a very easy to use website that has your health records, visits, messages (quick responses), billing, etc. Thank you Total Woman staff!

My wife had a great experience with Total Woman. We are recommended by our friends and transferred to Dr. Heather Wilson in the mid of pregnancy. My wife got a great care from her and her staff. And Dr. Wilson just delivered my son very well and smoothly 4 days ago . I will strongly recommend Dr. Wilson!!!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Schweichler. As a self-pay patient I could not have been happier with the service and the attention she paid to me since, I didn't have insurance, in helping me navigate my options.

Called to make an appointment with this Norton affiliated office and they immediately stated they don't take my insurance. After questioning further because 2 other Norton Physican offices and Norton Brownsboro accepting my insurance, they finally asked how to spell the name of my insurance company that they just said they do not accept. After holding for them to "look up my insurance", they came back to say no, sorry, don't take it and I wouldn't have an appoint for you anyway. She was rude on the phone, I felt like cattle being run through the gate. They did not listen, they did not pay attention, they are obviously in the habit of saying "no". Very frustrating.

Dr. Horlander and Grundy are absolutely magnificent! The entire staff and crew are friendly, knowledgeable, skillful, and helpful. I have sent several patients here and they have thanked me for the same experience. Highly recommend.

Like many other people who've written reviews, I found the staff to be rude and dismissive. They have no respect for you or your time. They think they go to work to hang out and get a paycheck. Only go to this practice if you are OK being put on hold for 30 minutes at a time, having your concerns belittled by the staff, and being made to feel like a number and nothing more.

Dr. Horlander is the best Doctor I have ever had! I loved having her around for my entire pregnancy! She made me feel very important and comfortable! We ended up having to have a c-section and I was so glad she was in that room! My incision looks great and I have a happy healthy baby! Thank you to my Doctor and all the staff that helped me through my pregnancy! You all made it so easy!

Dr. Horlander is the best! I was very satisfied with my prenatal care, and she helped to make the birth of my son and smooth and enjoyable experience. I definitely recommend Dr. Horlander!

Dr. Wilson is amazing!

The wait times are absurd and the nursing staff is rude, waiting to see a doctor for an hour and then leaving you in the room in a paper gown for upwards of 30 minutes. A few good doctors, but hard to get in touch with and no consistency in who you see.

Shanna Weir

Never had an issue with the Dr's or practice. Dr Bell was booked far in advance and they were able to get me in with a NP.

Cassie Rogers

I was a new patient leaving my prior practice after 13 years. The team was super friendly and they got me in and out in about 45 minutes. Katie Bishop, the Nurse Practitioner I saw was great. I would recommend this practice to any woman looking for an OB/GYN office in the Louisville area.

Brandi Mundo

I have seen most of the doctors and DNPs in this practice since I have been a patient here for 14 years. I love them and would not go anywhere else.

Alex

Absolutely love doctor Hill! Best doctor!

When I first went in, the atmosphere was amazing. I was very impressed with the ladies at the front desk, and the waiting room. I felt like I was at a spa. Everyone was so friendly. I even talked with the nurses about hot yoga, and my recent marriage.. I was all smiles and knew I found the perfect OBGYN until I met Dr. Case. I waited in a very nice room to meet with Dr. Case before going into the exam room. She came in and we began talking about my history and previous pregnancies. She asked about my three children, so I told her they were born naturally. Some at a birthing center, and at home. I said, "I previously lived in D.C., but I noticed birthing centers are not popular here in Kentucky." Her response was, "Yea we don't particularly care to lose a baby here and there." I just smiled but I felt like she shot me down. I am a loving mother who would never risk or harm my children, nor would I put them in danger. The midwives were professional, and they never lost a baby here or there either. I thought, "what a rude thing to say to a new patient." I felt uncomfortable after that, but I stayed to get my yearly paps anyway. I will not come back to this place even though the experience was very nice until I realized Dr. Case has a bad taste in her mouth for mothers who want a natural birthing experience. Here are my thoughts on the matter. Doctors can respect women who choose a different path without insulting them. If a mother chooses to have her baby at home or a birthing center, as long as she is healthy and working with professional midwives, an OBGYN doctor should respect the woman's right to choose. Even if they do not agree with the natural birthing practice.

This is my first pregnancy and I did so much research on trying to find that "right" Doctor. I wanted the one who felt like family. After hours and hours and lots of stress, I found her! Dr. Horlander is beyond amazing to me. She went above my expectations. She was gentle, kind, sweet, full of personality, and I felt like she truly cared as opposed to just a number. I would highly recommend Dr. Horlander. If you do, I hope you feel as comfortable and special as she made my husband and me feel.

I have seen several doctors at this practice and have loved every single one of them. I have been here through my first, perfectly healthy pregnancy, and also when I had a miscarriage. I always feel like the doctors and nurse practitioners are caring and listen to you. I cannot recommend enough. Yes, the wait times are long, and I have never been seen at my actual appointment time, but to me this is more than worth it with the level of care you are given. I saw Dr Wilson my entire first pregnancy, then was nervous when its was Dr Horlander who was on call the day that I delivered by son. She made me feel SO safe and comfortable. HIGHLY recommend to anyone, but yes, bring a book or magazine to your appointments.

Just got rejected for not having the correct insurance, even though they assured me that they did take my insurance. I waited for three months for this appointment. They said that they recently changed it and just didn’t bother to tell me. Beware. Also, you should know it looks like a conveyor belt. Lols of people being shuffled through and a huge emphasis on plastic surgery, not actually health.

Mariel Preece

Dr. Horlander was so sweet and funny! Made me feel much more comfortable.

Spent hours in the waiting room on more than one occasion. All the nurses but one were extremely rude to me, one even ignored me for 10 minutes while she made a personal phone call. Not one employee ever seemed able to give me their full attention. Dr. Case was rude and didn't even listen to a first time mother with health concerns, she just cut me off again and again until I gave up trying to ask her questions. Dr. Hill seemed nice until I requested my files be transferred to Women First (best decision I could have ever made), she was rude after that and was trying to talk badly of the doctors of Women First. Furthermore, I walked into the office myself and filled out a request for my records to be faxed, I even filled out the fax numbers and everything they could have possibly needed. Three weeks later I got a call from my new doctor's office telling me they still hadn't been sent. I was on hold for an hour, hung up on, and talked to in a very rude manner and it still took them until the day of my appointment for them to simply fax my records. Also, be warned their labs aren't always covered by your insurance and they won't warn you at all. I now have a huge bill for unnecessary labs. Save your time, money and sanity and go to Women First instead!

Allie Konczal

Dr. Grundy is great. She makes me feel comfortable, never rushed and is always professional. The rest of the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Have been going here since 2015 and have no complaints.

Lisa Tabor

Do Not go here. I took my 14 yo daughter here and they won't tell me anything. She has to call. By the time she home from school they are closed. Ridiculous. They bill my insurance and I pay the bill!

Horrible experience. Don't recommend to anyone.

Anytime I had a yeast infection the office staff always acted like it was *super* inconvenient for them to get me in. It seems like they always overbook, bc I always waited a long time for my appointments(about 30 minutes to an hour, not counting sitting in the room in a paper gown). Two different ppl at the location counseled me and would not let me get my tubes tied bc I might regret it. I was 25 at the time with a 7 year old. I'm now 28 with a 10 year old, and I still want my tubes tied. I stopped going here. Rude staff. Conservative doctors.

Becca Able

I have had the best experience with Total Woman. Dr. Kristi Horlander and her staff are an amazing group of woman. I have had nothing but the best care from them. Dr. Horlander delivered my son and took great care of us both. I will not go anywhere else!!!

Sheila Richardson
