waited for 45 minutes before i cancelled the appointment, got a refund, and got out of there. as i was leaving, an elderly man was trying to explain to the receptionist that he and his wheelchair-bound wife had been waiting more than an hour, didn't have much more time left to wait, and didn't want to reschedule because it's hard for her to get out. figure out your scheduling, people, and show your clients some respect!

She takes her time and listens to me. She is also very attentive and checks you from head to toe when you go in for spots you might find. I have always received the best care there. Shannon England is my Dr. and she has a fantastic group of girls who work with her, AND they’re all from Texas, what a win-win❤️ I am scheduling treatments with Janelle soon and I couldn’t be more excited. Shannon is so personable and makes you feel at ease, which is hard to do when you’re being cut on or examined. She’s kind and professional and I have given numerous recommendations. The pricing is also very reasonable. Thank you ladies for all that you do!

I transferred my insurance referral to thier office because it was closer to my home. I should say this was the Brooks office, I didn't have any contact with their other office. When I called to schedule the appt the office person said she had the referral but would have to have someone else call me back. They called me back and left a message on my office phone. When I returned the call the person who answered the phone said she too had to go look for my referral. I was on hold for approximately 6-8 minutes with no reference to how long I was on hold when she came back. So I said you all seem pretty busy maybe I should find another office. She said okay and hung up. When I tried to contact them via their "Contact Us" method on their web page it wouldn't send the message. It kept saying "Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method." So I either had to talk with the same rude lady or not tell anyone about their poor customer service. I will now be finding another dermatologist, evidently they have more business than you can handle?

Have called twice and left messages to get a prescription refilled. They have NEVER returned my call. The receptionist just told me to "try leaving another message" as the Nurses were too busy working with doctors today and there was no one available to speak to me. I told her I was going to find another doctor, and she couldn't have been less concerned. Find another doctor in Louisville, there are plenty to choose from that are more responsive to their patients.

The staff has always been courteous and helpful and William Warrick is energetic, professional and very helpful. I just made an appointment to deal with another derm issue and am confident I will be treated with the same consideration and respect as I have in the past. I have and will continue to recommend The Skin Group to all of my friends and relatives.

I would not recommend this practice. Treatments are sub-par, the office staff is rude, and the billing department is trying to scam as much money from the patients as possible. Can we give less than 1 star?

I know it is a hassle to update info every so many months or when insurance changes but it is worth them having the right info to start with so I do not get a bill later. Love the group!!

Had some procedures performed here about a year ago. The issues and locations on which the procedures were performed have returned. What was so surprising to me is that a doctor did not perform the work. It was a one of the assistants. I'd rather go somewhere else in the future and have an actual doctor perform the work.

My wife had a great experience with the doctor, but the office staff is horrible. We received a bill 13 months after her appointment saying we didn't have insurance and owed the full amount. Thinking it was a mistake, I contacted the office and they assured me that I did not have valid insurance. Since we do have insurance, I contacted Aetna to find out what the problem was, and was told the office did not file the claim correctly. The Aetna representative called the office, with me on the line, to confirm that we did have insurance, and to explain how to file the claim correctly. The office staff was rude and hung up on the Aetna rep. The Aetna rep explained to me what the filing issue was and I took on the task of working with the office to get them paid. It took two months of me calling and leaving messages with no return calls before I finally caught someone in billing. I explained what the issue was, told them to file the claim and then call me if we had a balance due after Aetna paid. I have never had to work so hard for someone to take my money. I have now received a bill showing that the payments Aetna paid were added to my account as debits, not credits. The current bill shows that I owe more than the original service cost. Unbelievable. The doctor is highly recommended by my wife, but the horrible headache you will endure dealing with the office staff afterword may not be worth it.

I had my first visit at the Skin Group at Brooks office, they were very thorough and professional. My husband has been going there for years and they found melanoma on his shoulder. He had surgery in June and is doing fine now. He is very blessed to have found out this early thanks to the Skin Group. Everyone should be checked, I know we will from now on!
