I've been going to this practice for years. The staff is great, and the office hums along with great efficiency. They are great about sending notifications about upcoming appointments. Changing appointment times is a breeze. Wait times when you arrive for your appointment are minimal. They also have a great staff of eyeglass experts. I brought in a pair that were all but unusable without nose pads and wobbly, wonky frames. In five minutes, it was like I had a new pair of glasses. I'm very pleased with them.

I honestly had no idea that Louisville Eye Center was such a hidden gem. I was in need of a medical appointment with their office, so I put in an appointment request online expecting a few days to go by before I heard back - but received a call with a few hours and got an appointment two days later. Office staff members were so polite and welcoming from the moment I stepped through the door. Doctor was very knowledgeable and showed much interest in listening to my concerns and corrected all the issues I was having. Five stars do no justice to the ten they deserve. Even though their office is not in network with my current insurance, I will continue to go back for yearly exams. I would rather pay out of pocket to feel like a valued customer than be just another client elsewhere.

I have worn a specific type of contact lens for over 25 years. They were no longer available and I couldn't find a lens that fit my eye correctly. I had been to three different doctors trying to get a fit. Someone suggested I give Dr. McNulty a try. I called and explained my situation and that I didn't want to pay for another exam unless a solution could be found. The receptionist spoke with the doctor and he indicated he thought he could help. He had recently attended a conference and heard about a company that specially makes "retired" contact lens for hard to fit eyes. Finally- happy again in my toric contact lens. Would highly recommend.

I have been searching for a new eye care center for my family since relocating to Louisville last year. I called to schedule four new patient appointments and was informed by the appointment scheduler that only two members of a family can be seen daily due to previous cancellations by other families. When i asked about scheduling at different times during the day I was told it doesn't matter the time of day...only two patients per family per day. I politely said thank you and was greeted with an immediate hang up. It is really disheartening to experience this type of customer service.

Made an appt. online and was victim of computer error. I went and they had no record so it was a wasted trip. Figured I'd try somewhere else for an eye exam. I'm very glad I waited to write this review; let me explain. I have seen Dr. McNulty several times and find him to be one of the best optometrists I have ever seen. However, I purchased a $500 pair of glasses from practice and they cracked within 6 months of receiving them. The practice replaced the glasses at no cost, but the pair that replaced them also cracked within 18 months. When I called one of eyeglass salesmen, I was told that they were outside of their one year warranty and nothing could be done. I would have to pay full price for a replacement pair. This infuriated me and I held it against the entire practice. Today I made an appointment with Dr. McNulty because, regardless of the quality of the glasses, he is a fine optometrist. He asked if I had and questions so I asked him for a recommendation on where to purchase quality glasses. He examined my glasses and was shocked when I told him my story. He asked me if I would be willing to replace them at his practice if they only charged me their cost. While I was thinking over his proposal, he amended it, saying "Never mind, we will replace them at no cost. There is no excuse for this lapse in quality". What could I say to that but yes? There are a couple of take-aways from this review. One is that the practice is ethical and stands behind their quality. The second is to not take no for an answer, like I did, without lodging your appeal with Dr. McNulty himself. Dr. McNulty has my business, and the business of my family, from this point forward.
