The doctors have been great. To bad TMC is willing to let the scheduling staff ruin their reputations with bad reviews. My husband has been dealing with kidney stones for two months now, at least. When he ended up in the ER with them the first time the ER doc could not get anyone from urology to respond to her. He was sent home and told to call the clinic. When he called he was told it would be 6 weeks before he could get in. The second ER visit was because his regular Dr ran blood work and it showed his kidneys were failing. He sat in the ER in pain for 6 hours before a urologist showed up. They placed two stents at 11:00 that night. He was sent home without pain meds or meds for the stones. He had to call the clinic numerous times to reach anyone. Finally one of the Drs called, apologized for his staff, and gave my husband his pager number. He was told he would be scheduled for surgery and someone would call him. When no one called, he called multiple times, each time getting the run-around from scheduling. He finally had to physically go to the clinic to get to talk to the nurse. Surgery was fine. However he was told to come back in two weeks for stent removal and of course, scheduling wouldn't get him in, he had to call the nurse. Got here today for stent removal and the people who scheduled the appointment didn't schedule the stent removal as instructed. The Drs had to jump through hoops to make it happen. This is ridiculous. It is horrible horrible service. I think the Drs are really good, they just need some decent help.

This place plays a guessing game on what's causing the pain. They just want to inject you wherever until the pain stops. I've been 3 times and they diagnosed me with no exam, xray, mri, nothing. Then injected me with numbing stuff and steriods. Didn't touch the pain. Now they want to inject again in a different spot to see if that helps. Completely different diagnose with no exam, xray, ect. I had to throw a fit to get an xray. Now I need an mri and they are refusing and just want to keep injecting me on different areas! Don't go here! I had to leave 4 messages and finally threw a fit to talk to someone. I was hung up on twice in the process.

The service here was horrible--seriously horrible. OK, so at it first, it was a bit of a nervous mood. This was understandable, but everyone was reassuring towards me and my daughter. So I just waited and trusted. However, after the surgery was over, my daughter's scary state overwhelmed me, and NO doctors or nurses explained to me at all how the procedure went. I DID NOT EVEN SEE THE DOCTOR THERE. It's like he immediately vanished afterwards. The nurse did not talk to me about it either, and because I was in the shock of the moment trying to help my daughter, I did not ask and assumed it would be written in the report papers they regularly give out. To my shock, when we arrived home, THERE WAS ZERO INFORMATION ON THE DETAILS OF THE PROCEDURE. THIS WORRIES ME NOT ONLY BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO WATCH THE PROCEDURE AND I NEED TO KNOW THE DETAILS. I called the University Health office, and unsurprisingly, they just kept transferring me across voicemail machines and computer voices. THEY EVEN HANGED UP TWICE BEFORE I COULD EVEN LEAVE MY MESSAGE. If I could, I would give this place ZERO STARS. This was a truly HORRIBLE place and experience for my daughter and me. It also bothers me that they don't even let you keep your child's teeth.

I had oral surgery on Friday with Dr. Popper, Kendra, and Lisa as my care team. They are excellent and did a wonderful job. I had a complication post-surgery and they were able to get me right in to help me feel better, which I do now. I would refer anyone to this office.

I didn't even see the dentist I was scheduled to see. They didn't tell me they were even scheduling a appointment, they said they would be back in with a treatment plan but they came back with 2 appointments w/o knowing or asking or confirming what I wanted done. By that time it was 4:45pm and supposedly the "attending" was gone and couldn't do anything

After I got my braces off (more than 10 years ago) I was told that I didn't need to worry about my wisdom teeth. About a year ago I started having horrible pain that would come and go. Two of my wisdom teeth started to come through, one of which was completely sideways. I finally saw an oral surgeon who informed me that he wouldn't take them out because the sideways one was sitting on a nerve. In fact, he estimated a 90% chance of permanent damage if it was taken out. After suffering for several more months of pain, I decided to get a second opinion. I went to university health and saw dr David Phan. He was straight forward with all the risks, but seemed confident so we decided to take them out. I am so glad! It's been a week now and I'm feeling almost as good as new, with zero nerve damage! I am so happy that I don't have to worry about this anymore. I definitely recommend the oral surgery clinic!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. I SAW DR CHRISTOPHER SHAW IN ORTHOPEDICS FOR BILATERAL KNEE PAIN. HE WAS IN ROOM FOR MAYBE 5 MINUTES WHICH HIS RESIDENT WAS IN THERE LONGER. LOOKED AT MY KNEE & JUST SAID PHYSICAL THERAPY. IT WAS LIKE AN ASSEMBLY LINE. HE DIDN'T WANT TO RUN ANY TESTS TO SEE IF THERE WAS MORE ISSUES GOING ON IN MY LEGS. SO I WENT TO AN OUTSIDE ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR THAT I HAVE USED BEFORE & GOT AMAZING TREATMENT. HE ACTUALLY ORDERED MRIS FOR BOTH LEGS & IN THE LEG THAT HURT WORSE I HAD TRICOMPARTMENTAL ARTHRITIS & SOMETHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE A TEAR BUT WE ARE DOING CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT JUST A CORTISONE SHOT FOR NOW. MY OUTSIDE DOCTOR ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ME & DIDN'T RUSH TO GET ME OUT. IT'S ALMOST LIKE DR SHAW GOT A KICK BACK FOR REFERRING PATIENTS TO PHYSICAL THERAPY WITHOUT DOING ANY WORK. I WILL NEVER GO BACK & WHEN I CANCELLED MY FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT I TOLD THE LADY THAT HE WAS THE WORST DOCTOR THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH & WON'T COME BACK. Horrible wait time WITH AN APPOINTMENT and they have horrible schedulers who DO NOT give NEED TO KNOW INFORMATION. if you're going to have a tooth extraction please know that it will not happen on your 1st appointment. This is something they DO NOT tell your until you've waited for 3 freaking hours to be seen for 5 minutes. I wish I could give it 00000 stars!

Absolutely hands down an amazing oral surgeon office. If you need work done on your teeth, this is the place for you. I've had pain and trouble with my wisdom teeth for the last 4years and finally was able to seek help, and I'm glad I chose here. They walked me through every step, and made sure my husband was aware of everything before and after my oral surgery. They answered all my questions and now all of my pain has gone away thanks to them. Their office is clean, staff is friendly, and nurses go above and beyond for you.

Specifically, the orthopedic office: While I’ve spent little time with the actual doctors, I have had a great experience here. Notably, Ron the orthopedic nurse is awesome. I fractured my fibula and I was a bit nervous, as I had never had a cast in my 33 years. At first, I was a bit intimidated by Ron, but his bitter sense of humor quickly won me over. Then, watching him build the fiberglass cast on my leg was like watching an artist at work. He worked deftly, and when he cut the top off over my toes, I didn’t even question the saw that seeming materialized in his hand. When my cast was too loose after four weeks with swelling down, Ron fit me at a moment’s notice. I was in and out with a walking boot in less than 30 minutes. If ever we have good health care in this country, Ron will fit right in. Thanks a lot Ron! You rule! Oh yeah, everyone in the office treated me like a human, which is no small compliment in my experience.

As an employee and insurance holder, I cannot get any help with a year long sinus infection from a hole in my sinus cavity when a tooth was pulled. Referred to this clinic and the clerk has no clue how to pull up a reference. The clerk has zero customer service skills, I could not schedule my appointment twice because she can’t find the referral from the oral surgery clinic that’s across the lobby from them. The ENT doctors only work 3 days a week so their scheduling is months out any way after already being sick for months. I have to wait several more weeks to get another referral and then wait 2 more months to get into the ENT after another referral. They cannot even help their own employees to feel well.
