Dr. Thomas Faerber deserves better than a 5 star rating in my opinion. It was necessary for me to have four extractions, sinus uplift, & five implants. From start to finish, Dr. Faerber was very professional & compassionate. Upon completion of each procedure, he followed up with me. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any type of Oral surgery.

I have never had any kind of surgery - large or small. I always looked at the wisdom teeth removal as a cosmetic surgery until my molars started to impact the teeth in front. Needless to say, I did my research, looked for the most experienced doctors in town, and asked a million questions. I picked Dr. Faerber. I was still worried until the day of surgery. It was after the surgery, I came to realize that I picked the best doctor. Pain was minimal - next to none. No detectable swelling. Bleeding stops after the first gauze. Expecting a painful recovery time, I bought four seasons of a popular HBO show. After watching one season, I was already back to my daily routines. Now, I will never find time to watch the rest of the Game of Thrones. The credentials of Dr. Faerber is extremely impressive. The skill of the doctor is beyond amazing. The office/clinic is clean. Office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I feel sorry for the person who claimed to have had billing issue and left an average review. I did not have any billing issue, perhaps because I handled the billing matters carefully on a dedicated and separate visit to the office. Everything about billing was clear and precise in my case. I am very grateful that Dr. Faerber did my extraction surgery, and did it well. I am sending my friends and family to you, Dr. Faerber. I wish you do appendix removal as well. Rhinoplasty?

I had questions and pain on a Saturday and they came in to the office right away to help my pain and take a look - I was even given the surgical assistants cell phone number if I had questions- I did text and got an immediate response. Ok before we start I have been his patient for many years. He is a kind and caring doctor who goes above and beyond for his patients. He also has an anesthesiologist nurse practitioner who can sedate you for your surgery, if you want to, if you don't no biggie. This doctor cares about your opinions and likes and dislikes. The entire staff is wonderful! Kim in billing is amazing at making sure everything with the insurance is good to go. But here's the best part: they want to help you and get you on the way to your best recovery possible. I know when I go here I will have the best surgical and patient care that is possible. Much love to the whole office who make you feel like family.

Dr. Faerber is a great dentist. He extracted my sons wisdom teeth with out a hitch. The office practices left me feeling a bit distraught. First red flag -- they billed my insurance company for an X-ray they didn't take. At the initial consultation I was told my insurance wouldn't cover the extractions and told they gave me their "best rate". I actually asked if the rate was the negotiated insurance rate. I was led to believe it was (my mistake). Later, found out the office still submitted a claim to my insurance company and that indeed a negotiated rate was in place. I called the office and asked for a refund since the negotiated rate is about $400 less than we paid. Although this is perfectly legal (because they are located in the state of KS they don't have to pass on the negotiated rate) I find it extremely disappointing. I've worked with other doctor's that accept the negotiated rate as a way to help patients offset fees. This office, at least in my case, stuck to their set office rate. I question why they submitted claims to my insurance company knowing up front the procedure wasn't covered. In my opinion, if the office submits a claim knowing coverage is going to be denied, they should pass along the savings of the negotiated insurance rate. If not, why submit in the first place?!

His staff was pleasant, professional and very helpful. Their use of video for post-op instructions was particularly helpful. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. I have spent the entire morning on the phone speaking to receptionist after receptionist at other dental offices, either I was put on hold for a long time with no consideration for my time, or they were all short and offered me no help of any kind. I called Dr. Faerber’s office today and was pleasantly surprised by all of the information and advice received by the receptionist at his office, although I didn’t make an appointment she was very nice, kind, informative, and very helpful.

i want to give 5 stars to the doc and knowledge but overall very concerned with consultation fees, insurance fees, patient fees and what cost will actually be - there are so many options for oral surgery. this was our second consult and money money money is all that was happening (seemed like)

I recently got my wisdom teeth out—something I admittedly wasn't looking forward to—and Dr. Faerber and everyone at Faerber Surgical Arts made it the best possible experience I could ask for. They treated me with care, compassion, and professionalism. I was impressed with the entire process, from pre-op to post-op, and I'm especially happy I was able to have my wisdom teeth extracted at an Accredited Office Based Surgery Center that's also a certified Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Center, which is one of the biggest accreditation associations for independent surgery centers. (I obviously did my research—but, hey, surgery is a big deal!) Dr. Faerber is an MD in addition to DDS, which made me feel even more confident about the procedure. If you're considering having oral surgery, I one thousand percent recommend Dr. Faerber, no question.

He and his staff are very thorough, caring, and professional! I've also found reassurance in the fact that he has BOTH a DDS and an MD. I needed an immediate extraction a few months ago for an infected root canal and Dr. Faerber made room in his hectic schedule to do it that day. He and his staff were prompt, polite, professional, and most importantly made sure I couldn't feel any pain and constantly checked on me during the operation. I recently got my implant put in by him as well and that visit was no different. I was more comfortable getting the implant than when I get a filling taken care of!
