You have the information of people who purchased the products of Northland Women\'s Health Care (Doctor) near to the state of Kansas.
Currently the firm gets a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 88 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is practically the best one, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the evaluation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they are pleased, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Doctor is included in the category of Obstetrician-gynecologist.
Doctor Abney is always very thorough and kind. Everyone on staff there is great, which is rare for a doctor office.
We JUST found out my wife is 25 weeks pregnant (we didn't know sooner due to medical issues) the person I talked too absolutely REFUSED to help. Because it's a "late-term transfer and we'd need all her previous pre-natal." When I explained we hadn't had any and we were terrified and really needed to see a doctor she said; "I'm sorry we can't help you." Absolutely shameful, I cannot believe this place claims to be in the healthcare business. Never, ever waste your time with them.
Dr. Sampson is absolutely amazing. She gives it to you straight, but at the same time is courteous and caring. This is my second delivery with her and I don’t know if I’d trust anyone else! The new office is so much better than the last. The staff is all wonderful, the nurse practioners, nurses, lab, and even the front desk staff! So glad I followed the practice. Thank you for everything.
Everyone here is so friendly and professional. They actively listen and are eager to help however they can. I’m so glad I made the switch here!
Dr. Sampson and her Nurse Lori are both so kind and caring. They are patient and take the time to explain everything in a way I can understand. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my health care!
There was no wait. All staff members were considerate, effective and through.
Great staff and great experience all around. No waiting and the NP listened to me. Great folks in this office.
I think you all are wonderful. Love my Dr. Driskell and Trish . They are awesome. Also this last visit there wa@ no wait time. Was in and out
The 'one size fits all' approach may not be to you're liking. The office people are incredibly incompetent. Some are rude, most seem woefully uninformed. The billing department had forgotten they already quoted me a price. The second quote was 1k more than the first. One of the receptionist informed me that they do not do ultrasounds before 20 weeks. The appointment lady called; she was very huffy and indignant that we dared miss an appointment. After explaining the issue she basically accused me of abuse and that I needed to bring my wife in for an appointment NOW. They have canceled appointments without telling us. The doctor we were assigned had as much personality as a brick. We had the gall to complain; we then received a letter informing us that they would no longer be seeing my wife. After 7 months of putting up with all their crap. It sucks because while they were one of the most expensive options; they were close. Really the only option in the northland. I guess that's why they charge so much and give so little.
As always outstanding! They all do a great job, showing they care professionally with great kindness.
Very friendly, attentive and caring staff. After having a terrible experience at Meritas Health I chose to switch providers in the middle of my pregnancy to get better care. Seemed like a risky move, but I couldn't be happier. VERY satisfied with ny decision even just after one appointment. The difference was overwhelming and I have no regrets!
The staff is very friendly and respectful. Dr. Driskell made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend her.
The staff is great. Always friendly and no long wait times. I get right in and right out. I’ve used these doctors for 20 years and would recommend them to everyone.
Dr. Wolfe is amazing! I have been her patient for two years now. She is caring and gave me answers to questions I had. She was there to listen and wasn’t rushing to get through the appointment. Would recommend her to anyone looking!
Dr. Sampson , did a fantastic job on surgery. Awesome care and any time I had questions she responded with quick response and always made me feel comfortable. Recommend this clinic and all the providers to my family and friends.
Dr Woollen has been my gynecologist for over 10 years. She is awesome! She takes the time to talk to you about everything in your life. She's very thorough and very personable. The staff is great and always nice and helpful. You could not ask for better care. Knowledgeable and caring. The best in the business!
I've been going to this doctor's office for years and always liked it just fine but didn't really think about it 364 days of the year. But I've been positively indebted to them since my pregnancy and daughter's birth - they were just tremendous. My doctor is Dr. Woollen, who btw also performed what must have been the world's fastest-healing, most problem-free c-section. Recommend wholeheartedly.
I saw Dr. Wolfe in December with no issue from insurance it front desk. I scheduled an emergency appointment yesterday for today due to a lump and severe pain. Checked in and front desk notified me that my insurance was out of network and whomever checked me in for my appointment in December messed up and NEVER checked it. Well long story short- I was given an ultimatum today and demanded to pay upfront out of pocket or be turned away during this crisis. I am very upset and will most likely not return to this office.
Dr Sampson is awesome!
My wife has been seen by this practice for two pregnancies now. The first she delivered the baby under their care - which was nightmarish, in and of itself. Even after the dismissive attitudes from the doctors and barely competent staff, the post-delivery treatment was abhorrent. After the baby was born she developed a very massive spinal headache from the epidural. She tried to explain this to the nurses and doctors but was told "Well, you've just had too many visitors." What is this? The 1800s?? Did they think she "had the vapors" and needed to lie down and rest her poor, frail womanly frame? Sheesh. She ended up having to leave and come back just to be seen by another doctor who did a blood patch to relieve her pain (which it did, thankfully). But... We chalked that up to the staff *then* and hoped they would weed out the bad at some point. Apparently not. We went to them recently as my wife is pregnant again. Even despite different staff, they were just as dismissive, deadpan, slow, and in some cases incompetent. The sonographer was great but she was interrupted - mid-exam! (and not the more clothed, less compromising external exam) - by one of the office staff who couldn't wait a couple of minutes to get my wife's chart *back* from the sonographer. Shortly thereafter, we discovered that the staff who couldn't wait two minutes "needed" the chart so she could change my wife's information on it - to some old, wrong, previously-corrected information!! O.O When she was finally seen by the nurse practitioner, she was helpful - but was absolutely unyielding as she towed the company line. No medications (which had been cleared by multiple previous doctors and specialists), no option for VBAC (despite two previous VBACs) - not even the option! They won't do them, viable or not! More about their insurance and liability than care, obviously. Her dismissiveness showed through, as well, saying that my wife's ongoing, regular headaches could be alleviated by Tylenol (as if my wife wasn't smart enough to have asked about or tried that before - unsuccessfully, I might add.) Her lack of knowledge showed as well since she had no experience regarding some not-uncommon "womanly issues" (I will spare details). Worse, her exam was forceful, nearly bringing my wife to tears. Not to be too personal (my apologies) but she was in pain and she spot-bled for two days after that. >: ( Further, when my wife had to explain paperwork from a previous specialist (a urogynecologist) to other office staff, the staff actually asked "Is that U-R-O or E-U-R-O?" Oy... (I mean, is that even a thing? A Eurogynecologist? Like, they do gynecology differently in the UK?? Hey, if they do I'll stand corrected...) Moving to another provider. We will *not* go back.
I "was" a patient. I called today to schedule an appointment, scheduling said they needed my insurance information. I gave it to them, I am on Cobra coverage. They said they couldnt verify the insurance and couldn't allow me to make an appointment until my insurance was verified. I said why don't I just pay cash and you can reimburse me when the insurance pays you. This is a horriable patient care practice. I will take my cash and insurance somewhere else. I have NEVER been treated so horriably in my life! You have lost a paying patient Dr. Abney.
Love my doctor, but honestly after driving an hour, I have over an hour wait past my appointment time.
Wonderful friendly staff. I was in and out! Great doctors and nurses!
I always have a great experience during my appointments! This is my second pregnancy with NWHC and I feel very comfortable with the staff and always am very well taken care of by Dr. Driskell and the rest of the providers and nurses.
Dr. Driskell and her nurse Stephanie are AMAZING!! They took care of me through all three of our pregnancies and c-sections and do amazing work. Their staff is great and always friendly from their ultrasound techs, PA's, front desk gals, check out gals, etc. I'm so happy I found Northland Women's Healthcare. It's definitely worth the drive to receive quality care.
I’ve been a patient of Dr Nichols for many years. She provides consistent quality care.
I cannot recommend this practice. If you have any health concerns during pregnancy or postpartum, the staff will tell you that it is either typical pregnancy symptoms or to go see your primary care doctor. I had complications during pregnancy, postpartum, and with the c-section. I can’t even get nurses to call me to set up appointments and the communication between staff is nonexistent. This practice cares more about quantity than quality. Plus, wait times can take over an hour.
I’ve had three babies and one miscarriage while with this practice and LOVE Dr. Driskell and her nurse Stephanie. They are personal and professional! I’ve never seen a nurse practitioner or dr I didn’t like. Thank you for taking such good care of me and my family. The billing department and front desk were always helpful as well. There were other practices closer to me but so glad I stayed here!
Everything from check in to check out was great. The nurses were awesome and Dr. Wolfe speaks in terms I can Understand and she’s very friendly.
Dr. Abney was great about answering my questions about a procedure. Her nurse was also very helpful. Great service
Was referred here by a coworker and have been super pleased with care. Every single person I come in contact with from front desk to lab to doctors and nurse practitioners are professional, kind and knowledgeable. New offices and attention to detail make a difference as well.
Great service and quality care.
My doctor took the time and talked with me. I was just in for a pap. Usually they come in do it and that is it. She listened and made me feel very comfortable.
Very friendly staff!
Very nice
I had such a pleasant experience here. Debbie, Keli, and Sandra were so friendly, helpful, and all of them put me at ease. No one made me feel rushed or like they had to move on to the next patient asap like other places I've been. Thank you for making my dr visit a pleasant, comfortable experience!
Everyone is very nice and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Nicols is super nice and caring.
Dr. Wolfe and her staff are delightful and very professional. They made me feel very comfortable. They help to speak clearly and in layman's terms to help you understand what is involved with your condition. Excellent bedside manager and surgeon. Tiffany Croft is also very good nurse in their practice as well. Highly recommend as a place to get your women's care needs met.
worst service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just had my first appointment and was pleasantly surprised based on the other reviews. Dr. Sampson was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. These appts can sometimes be awkward and I didnt feel any of that today.
Found out I was pregnant so I called to make an appointment. The very first questions they asked me were all about my insurance. Never asked how far along I was or congratulated me until they got all my insurance information. It felt incredibly cold. Scheduled my first apt after about 45 minutes on the phone. A few days before my apt, they called back & asked a ton of personal question & got even more of my information. I assumed they were just filling out my paperwork over the phone, but when I got there, I basically had to give them all that info again. Went to my first apt & everyone was very friendly. So I assumed it was just a front desk issue & didn’t think anything else of it. Yesterday I called after hours because I was experincing severe pain. The dr that answered (dr woolen, spelling?) was incredibly rude. I explained my situation to her & she told me that she couldn’t diagnose me over the phone, if I was that uncomfortable then just go to the hospital. I was trying to avoid that, which is the whole reason I called to speak to a dr. She hardly asked me any questions about my pain & talked to me like I was an absolute idiot. What is the point of having a dr on call after hours if all they say is there’s nothing they can do, just go to the hospital? Basically just stuck with this crappy drs office because it’s the only one that accepts my insurance.
I love this place and the delivery facilities at St. Luke's North. I especially love Dr. Nichols and her nurses. Skilled, knowledgeable, kind, efficient, WONDERFUL. I'll be their patient as long as we live in the KC area.
I've had nothing but wonderful experiences here. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Always professional and caring
Everyone was very nice. Dr was great she explained my options and was very thorough asked if I had questions and followed up with me afterwards.
