I have worked with Brent Melroy on recovery and treatment for multiple sports related injuries over the years. He is great at explaining your condition in terms that make sense, along with the corrective exercises. He has 2 physical therapy fellowships which less than 1% of therapists have that level of training. If you want the best long term recovery solution and hands on treatment check these guys out!

My appointment was at 3:15 and they asked me to come in at 2:45 to fill out paperwork. The paperwork only took me 5 minutes. I’ve been sitting here waiting since and it’s almost 4pm. I asked the receptionist if I’ll be seen soon and she said it would be another 20-30 minutes. What’s the point of scheduling me if you’re not going to see me on time???

Dr. Dempewolf repaired a serious, four-part break in my upper arm after I fell off my bicycle. The surgery was very successful and my healing and recovery has exceeded all expectations, without a glitch. The scar is minimal, too! Visits to his office at Mid-America Orthopedics both before and after surgery were unlike any medical office I've every visited. The atmosphere is very inviting, attractive, clean (new!) and my wait time never exceeded 5 minutes. Once in the exam room, I spent no time at all waiting for the doctor. During the exam, he took the time to explain everything and responded to my silly questions with respect and care. I highly Recommend Dr. Dempewolf and Mid-America Orthopedics! A+++

Check in process was quick. Staff was friendly. A Xray was done in office which was very convenient. Dr. Yager has great bedside manor. He showed us the xray that were taken and discussed possible causes of my pain. Several options were given to me and we decided on a plan of care. I would highly recommend Dr. Yager.

I drove over an hour to see this Doctor. I brought it my X-ray and report, he didn't explain anything other than I think you'd benefit from hand therapy in both hands but only sent the order in for one hand. I asked the nurse if she'd ask him to give me a lab order to check me for arthritis but she said he refused and said he doesn't do that, and I should ask my family doctor but yet my G.I specialist was able to order it without any issue. The swelling in my joint has gotten worse and my hand therapist hasn't heard back from them to extend the order. They don't care about their patients and how can someone like that be trusted. I'm never going back.

Dr. Dempewolf and his staff are absolutely amazing. He knows his stuff but doesn't try to talk over your head like most doctors and is willing to go far above and beyond. I had a fractured fib and badly fractured and rotated tib and the first doctor I saw suggested surgery which was scheduled for 6 days out. So I went to see Michael Dempewolf for a second opinion. He offered an alternative solution which I feel very good about. Time will tell, but he is extremely down to earth and he and his assistant even stayed late on a Friday of a holiday weekend to help someone they had never even met before. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and I would definitely recommend him to anyone with orthopedic needs. Phenomenal would be an under statement. Thank you guys SOOO much!! -Jon

I can not say enough about Dr. Dempewolf and his excellent bedside manner. He was extremely professional, explained my diagnosis in great detail and thoroughly explained my treatment options. I felt very comfortable with our plan of care leaving there. I will definitely continue my care there and will share my experience with my friends and family. His nurse practitioner is great too!

He answered all the questions, and included some pictures to make the procedure more understandable. The MAO KC staff was superb; everyone was very friendly, and always with a sweet smile. I’m giving this review 10 stars: 5 stars for Dr Dempewolf and 5 stars for the staff. My surgery and recovery has been exceptional. I’m convinced that MAO KC is a First-in-Class clinic in the Kansas City area.

What a difference an "outstanding doctor" can make in your life. I had suffered with severe hip pain for the past year and a half seeing three doctors who did nothing but take my money. Then I was told about Dr. Dempewolf. Made an appointment at the Garnett Hospital where this doctor explain my condition and the options that I had to correct this pain.
