I have been seeing Dr. Thomas for roughly 4 years now and I couldn't be more pleased. I have severe anxiety and a genuine fear of doctors but after my first appointment with her, I knew I found the right doctor. She is blunt and does not sugarcoat, which I believe makes her a better doctor than most. She wants you to be aware of your health and take the proper steps to make sure you're living a healthier lifestyle. She is a wonderful doctor and if I could give her 10 stars, I would! I highly recommend Dr. Thomas and her staff at Kansas City Womens Clinic, you won't be disappointed!

Terrible. I guess she’s be alright if you don’t have any “women” issues. When you read her profile it says she wants to help women but instead she just blows you off. Not helpful - I mean couldn’t even refer me out to an actual specialist. Terrible!!!

This lady was very rude.. every concern I had she seemed to shut it down . I felt as if she was offended that I did my own research about birth control . I got a women exam and she got very irritated because I was tense and uncomfortable during my exam and threw her utensils in the sink and said “we’re done you won’t let me do it so we’ll just assume your healthy “ I’ve never been treated this way with any other doctor during my exams and I would never refer this lady to any one!

This was my first time going to a women’s clinic and I’ve never been treated so rudely by a medical “professional” in my life. Marty was very snappy, and quick to shoot down any concern I had about the pain and sickness I have been dealing with. She acted like she had somewhere better to be the entire visit and took no time to ask deeper questions or understand my condition. I was basically told to start birth control (I was asking for other alternatives) and then kicked out. Definitely a horrible experience that left me in tears and feeling hopeless again. I absolutely do NOT recommend this doctor to young women who are looking to find answers to their pain.

This whole office is a mess! I called to request a doctors note for missed work due to an iud insertion. They were SO RUDE on the phone. Wouldnt believe me that I was having a lot of pain from the skyla iud that she inserted! Wouldn’t let me talk hardly! Refused to give me a doctors note at first, then I was told by the nurse that Marty Thomas said “I won’t be doing this again” I no longer go to this practice! Bad overall experience, bad staff that are not knowledgeable about anything they do, and even the front desk ladies are rude! Except for the younger girl with the brown hair! Only person who treated me politely was her and the medical records lady I spoke to on the phone.

Dr. Thomas has been my doctor for 15 years, since my first ever well woman examination. I got new insurance last year, skipped my annual bc life got busy and then this year decided to see her despite my insurance suggesting I see someone in their network. Thank goodness I did because this year she felt a cyst during my examination and sprang into action to get me referred to an oncology surgeon she trusted that was in my insurance network. I received a call to schedule my appointment to see the surgeon before I even left the parking lot after my exam. She is thorough, kind and a great advocate for her pts care. -my cyst turned out to be the size of a softball and was successfully removed about 3 weeks later.
