I was 8 minutes late and they wouldn't see me. Receptionist said I have to reschedule a month out! I would not recommend this office.

Dr. Chain is one of the best (if not the best) doctor I have ever been to. She always listens to my concerns, without making me feel silly or rushed. She is also so personable and kind! She does not act superior to the patient and she makes sure you are comfortable with her treatment plan. I would highly recommend her!

Do not go here, use your physician to look at any area you may be concerned with. The billing department will code and office visit where they do nothing the same as a visit where they perform a biopsy or remove a mole. They are also very hostil when asked about this discrepancy.

I had a wonderful experience at Dermatology Consultants Midwest. I needed help with 2 Rx that are difficult to come by. The staff promptly returned my call and they were more than happy to confer with my pharmacy on my behalf and quickly! In the end, I could not afford one of my Rx ; Dr. Chain and her staff went above and beyond - they located a specialty/compound pharmacy that promptly filled my Rx and had it shipped right to my front door. I am very grateful for the care I received by Dr. Chain and her staff; highly recommend!

Rude staff. The nurse was in a hurry, wouldn't listen without interrupting me (when I told her I had multiple issues going on she told me to "Pick one"), and was argumentative regarding when I had previously called regarding a severe allergic reaction I had to a medication they prescribed, and whether I had made a previous appointment. She was so rude and wouldn't quit arguing with me that I just got up and walked out without even seeing the doctor. I have never been treated so poorly. There are plenty of other doctors in Kansas City with caring staff, don't go here where they couldn't care less!

Their website says to call them for a portal key of some sort. I called them during business hours and no-one was available. The automated system asked me to leave my contact details and they'd call back. Still waiting on that.

There are truly not enough great things to be said about Dr. Chain. She is so kind and thorough. She does my regular skin checks, Botox and has found and removed a melanoma lesion for me. For anyone in the greater KC area looking for a dermatologist, she's the absolute best!
