I had a billing dispute with Center For Womens Health regarding a $10 late fee. When I asked to talk with the clinic manager, I was told the manager wanted me to write a letter and that he wouldn't speak with me. Isn't that a manager's job? For a clinic to be so dismissive that the manager wouldn't even talk with me is offensive. They would rather send my bill to collections and lose a patient than talk with me about it. I will be changing clinics due to extremely poor customer service.

Recently I tried to get in contact with the office to schedule an appointment I receive no call back so I went online to schedule for myself I still received nothing but my appointment was “canceled “without my knowledge almost like they don’t want my business or me at the office it was really strange I’ve been getting the runaround for about a week now trying to make an app To fit into my family’s schedule , I don’t understand , I didn’t get the impression that there was a race issue but their May be. I hate it isn’t even the word it’s more like absolutely turned off bad taste in my mouth.

Marie Carr in records is great. Seems like she did all she could do to get my records back that I provided to a nurse (that's no longer there) Unfortunately that nurse lost them.. Basically every other experience at this place has been very traumatizing as a first time mom. No compassion. Long story short I left my appt. devastated and crushed. I would not wish this experience to anyone.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for a little over a year when I made an appointment at the Center for Women’s Health in November of 2018. I saw PA Biel. From the moment she walked through the door she barely let me get a word out and spent maybe 3 minutes with me. She told me that I was fine and that it was just bad timing. She also told me I was using ovulation tests incorrectly- which is weird considering I know how to pee on a stick. We did do blood work that day but nobody ever bothered to call me with the results. I left the appointment in tears and called another OB that day and set up an appointment. That OB instantly got testing set up for me. Turns out I do have an issue and I am now with a specialist and doing IVF soon. Can you imagine had I listened to Miss Biel? I would still be wondering the cause of my infertility. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

My wife had an appointment at this place today. She had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago and has not seen a doctor since the miscarriage. The first available appointment was 4 weeks out. We were a little skeptical, but scheduled it anyway. We got to Mobile this morning and almost in Saraland, our 4 year old daughter got car sick and threw up everywhere. We had to stop at DG for clothes and a towel. She called to let them know she would be a few minutes late (20 minutes). She was told that she would have to reschedule because they have a strict policy on being late. My first problem with this is that when she has an appointment, we always sit an hour to an hour and a half before seeing the doctor. The other problem is that this was beyond her control. It wasn't like she was an hour late. Needless to say, she is about to find another doctor.

My pictures are graphic The people that answer the phone have no personality. I am a high risk patient, therefore I feel they should have a person that can provide empathy when needed really for anyone, but ECPECIALLY high risk. The only way I get results is if I ask for a manager (that's sad). These people act like they do not care about you at all. The doctors are ok, however if you are a hard case like I am I guess they lose hope and just throw you off to the next doctor. I had an IUD placed in May surgically. It was placed around 1pm that afternoon, around 8pm that night the IUD was pushed out by the heavy painful blood clots I often experience. I called to inform my OBGYN, and the nurse's response was "oh come back and we'll put it back in or you can go to the other Dr. to see what they can do". This to me was so impersonal. You as a physician failed at this point and you have a patient that is panicking because the procedure she had earlier did not work. Me personally would have wanted to speak to my patient, not have my nurse handle the situation. Bottom line seems like no one at this facility cares about the patient except the manager, and to be honest I think she did a great job acting. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I understand I am a hard case, but instead of saying you don't know what to do and gently recommend me elsewhere, you'd rather take me on as a patient and treat me like you could care less about my experience. This is what comes out of me when I have one of my horrible cycles, and to get treated like you don't matter when you are in pain and bleeding to death is AWEFUL.

Dr. Ritz was my doctor for tubal ligation reversal I am 9 months passed the surgery not yet conceived I have called his office about 30 times leaving messages with his nurse saying can I have some kind of test to see if my tubes are clear and good I have been calling since about 3-9 months after surgery still no answer and no call back Idk if it was done correctly bc he won’t answer my calls the clock is winding down I’m not getting younger I’m getting older need answers please

Super nice the office is nice really liked the PA I saw was great. My biggest complaint is that I'm very high risk and even after explaining that they wouldn't put me in to see dr till 10 weeks. I'm already in heart failure but they didn't care what my cardiologist had said

I love this office and Dr. Breit. I have been a patient for more than tens years and have always been happy. The staff and Dr. Breit are very professional and upfront. I've been seen by both PA's and have been happy with both but am partial to Jordan. Her personality is so warm, it feels like you're talking to a friend. My only objection is to the Friday receptionist, she doesn't have the warmth of the usual staff and can be a tad confrontational at times.

I have gone to Dr. Sharon Breit for several years now and could not ask for a better physician. Dr. Breit is kind, personable, and easy to talk to. I have so much confidence in her knowledge and experience by the way she cares for and communicates with her patient's and staff. She takes the time to answer any questions or concerns I have at my appointments and goes above and beyond in the care she provides me. It is so comforting to know I have a physician that is always available when I need her. I have recommended Dr. Breit to many friends and family and they all love her and can't say enough awesome things about her. I have 4 healthy children because of the care I received at the Center for Women's Health with Dr. Williams and Kelly Brewster, her nurse practitioner. They seem to be there for me as I go through different phases of my life. Dr. Williams later handled my full hysterectomy. And more recently, she treated me for pelvic pain that was becoming very bad with weird symptoms that seemed to be unrelated. This is my doctor for life!

If I could give 0 stars for the east office and there front desk staff I would! Never in the 5 years I have been seen here, have I ever had to put up with such a a careless, disrespectful, unprofessional receptionist. After waiting a good 30 minutes to be seen which isn't that long but I wasn't feeling well. I went up to ask what was taking so long and was told that the computer was showing they had me placed in a room so it should be any minute. I then waited another 20 minutes and went up again asking what was taking so long and was my doctor even there? The receptionist then proceeded to tell me that yes she was there and again it should be any minute, so I asked her to call the nurse and ask why it was showing I was already placed in a room, if I havent even been called back yet. She made one call and no one answered so she told me she would try sending her a message and she would call me back up when she heard back. After going up a third time and now being told as soon as another patient exited the room I would be next to be seen, I was finally called back to see my doctor. After seeing my doctor I had explained the situation with the receptionist to her and she decided to find out why the receptionist decided to tell me what she had. When confronted about the situation by doctor Roger's instead of the receptionist apologizing for giving me false information she decided to continuously lie and argue with me infront of the entire staff and lobby! I will never go back to the east office after this incident and unprofessional behaviour. Luckily there is a west office that is highly professional and I highly recommend to any one having this issue. Its sad that they hire people like this to represent there medical office. Being 34 weeks pregnant and having to deal with a highly stressful situation such as this was unacceptable. The only reason I am even going back is because they do have great doctors, unfortunately i just cannot say the same about there staff.

I was switching from College Hill to here, so I was a bit nervous but, Dr. Whisler sat down and discussed what she could do for birth control, made sure I knew every option and was interested in learning and getting to know me. I haven't had a Doctor do that, since I started going to my Family Doctor. The atmosphere is always nice, relaxing and comforting when I come in and the staff is wonderful! Highly recommend this place.

After your annual appointment, you'll get a bill in the mail for lab work that they do not warn you about. Heaven forbid, you have to schedule more appointments with them for a biopsy then they'll collect money from you if you owe towards your deductible but forget to mention that you'll receive another bill for lab work. You're also expected to call them for lab results that won't be communicated to you in a timely manner. If it goes further than the biopsy & you need a surgery, be prepared to pay $83 for a 10 minute "required appointment" before the surgery. Overall, they do not care about taking your money left & right. They lack empathy towards someone having to go through this process. Do yourself a huge favor & skip the nightmare of this place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sharon Breit's since she first stated her practice quite some time ago. She was my GYN, then my OB, and continues today to be my GYN. Dr. Breit was awesome during my pregnancy. She is readily available for me and cares about me and what I may need. I love Dr. Breit and often recommend her to friends. She is truly awesome. The staff at Center for Women's Health is also wonderful. The clinic has so much to offer if you are looking for a one stop GYN or OB clinic. I have been going to this clinic since it opened and l feel very comfortable with everyone. They truly care about their patients! You should give them a try.

Dr. Williams delivered my baby in an emergency situation. My baby's oxygen had dropped, my blood pressure had sky-rocketed, and she got that baby out quickly and safely, sparing me a C-section. I was in poor health for several days and she took amazing care of me in the hospital and checked on me when I was home. I see someone gave her a 1-star review...and it was a man. What's up with that, bro? This is an OBGYN lol

I've been going here for 2 years and will be switching. They do 'follow ups' every 3 months and my insurance doesn't cover. The last time I asked to push out the follow up for 6 months (after the new year) the nurse told me I could die if I don't do my follow ups. The last 2 times I've gone in for my appointment they either didn't have me on the schedule or they only had one of the 2 appointments I had on the appointment card scheduled. It is also frustrating when you call in and the front desk person is chewing gum and saying "ya" and doesn't even say good bye when they hang up. Frustrating to pay so much for a doctor and it is so unorganized and unprofessional.

I have been going here for years but because of a change in nursing staff I will no longer be going back. After repeatedly telling the nurse I did not want a specific test done (because it did not pertain to me), it was done anyway. And then on top of that, I was billed for the test and insurance didn’t pay for it so now I’m paying out-of-pocket for a test I didn’t need. I had recommended this practice to a friend who encountered the exact same problem.

I truly wish I could give this place 0 stars. When I first called to schedule my appointment a month ago, they told me Dr. Altermatt was only practicing once a month, fine fair enough. I took the one appointment she had which was today. I live in the panhandle, so mobile is a little under 2 hours away. When I made it into the city today, and was 8 minutes away from the office (20 minutes until my appointment), I received a phone call from them. Apparently, as unbelievable as it sounds, they let me know that "Dr. Altermatt resigned today, I would have to reschedule because there were no doctors to see me". They called me 20 minutes before my appointment to let me know that. In their defense, the office had only found out 20 minutes prior to calling me, even though they had been open for about 2 hours. So 4 hours roundtrip and $30 in gas money later, I am back to where I started trying to find a specialist. Don't waste your time on this place!

No words can describe how much knowledge these doctors have. It's been over five years since my surgery and I feel wonderful besides the fact I need to loose some LBS. When life gives us no other options I was happy to find my wonderful doctor who gave me options That I wanted. I drive from out of state to see my OB/Oncology doctor And it took me a while to find her. She Recommended other Doctors that could and did help me. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable.
