Dr. David Kaplan is one of the very best doctors I have ever met, and I have met hundreds in my career. He is very personable. You can tell he cares about his patients in the way he takes time to go over everything carefully. He is very knowledgeable and professional in his demeanor. He also has a good sense of humor. He no longer accepts insurance for his services, but you can get into see him without waiting months, and I do not have to wait in long lines when I arrive for an appointment. I would very highly recommend Dr. Kaplan.

His office is professional and polite, and Jennifer is great with kids, even performed an in-office surgery that went perfect on my 14 year old. She has been outstanding to work with a skin cancer I had and IPL treatments. Their office is self-pay which means lower costs for us. I recommend them to my friends and family.

After years of being a patient at Adult and Pediatric Dermatology, it was in September,2010, that I knew for certain that I was a patient at an extraordinary practice. I was in the office with my daughter for her appointment with Linley Stephens, PA when Dr. Kaplan saw me and noticed a suspicious mole on my calf. He insisted that a biopsy be performed immediately- right then! As it turned out, that mole was a malignant melanoma. Dr. Kaplan was a true life saver that day. Jennifer Davison, PA, has been taking care of me since that day and her care has also been above and beyond my expectations. Dr. Kaplan and his staff make up a stellar practice.

I have been a patient here for many years with Dr. Kaplan. His staff is helpful and wait times are minimal. I enjoy seeing Dr. Kaplan because he takes a personal interest in my health and other matters. Doctors are great, office staff and nurses not so much. I have been without a refill on a medication (that you are not supposed to simply stop taking without finishing the course) for a week now, even though I submitted the refill request. I contacted their office a week ago, and spoke with the front desk office explaining that I really needed to be called back that day and asked if I left a voicemail whether or not I would have my call returned before they closed. She indicated that I would, and I never was. Then they were closed the next two days. This is not the first instance in which it was about a week before I was gotten back to, however this time it affected my health and caused my infection to worsen and become more painful. I called today (a week later), once again explaining that I really needed this medication refill (oh and there are 2 refills remaining), and explained that I had already left a voicemail a week ago that hadn’t been returned. She just said they were busy and asked if I wanted to leave another voicemail, and when I politely declined, she hung up on me without notice. Not only is this poor customer service, but any physician will tell you that if you are prescribed a round of antibiotics, it is very important to finish the course. So now this issue has caused my symptoms to worsen again. I will definitely be switching to a more reliable practice. Which is unfortunate, because the physicians really are great.

After trying a different dermatologist in the area, and not being too satisfied with the experiences, we switch to Adult & Pediatric Dermatology. Definitely the right move! We've been please with the relationships we've built and services provided by Dr. Kaplan and his team, including Jennifer Davisson. their move to simple fee based pricing (vs confusing insurance processes and costs) lets us know in advance exactly what to expect. I'd recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dermatologist in the area.
