I will never tell someone to go here. It is the worst medical clinic I have ever gone to. The did not tell me on the phone they did not take my medical insurance. Which is wrong because I called afterwards and talked to my insurance and what they did to me was wrong. I think what happened is my step mom goes there and she asked them not to let me go there. Totally unprofessional. And the last that did it to me disappeared after she kicked me out and I had no ride so I had to wait over an hour for my parents to come back and get me. While I was in the worse pain in my life. So you make up your mind if you would like to go there. I have never been treated so rudely by someone. She embarrassed me in front of everyone, and kept smiling while she was doing this to me like she was enjoying turning me away. Everyone else was very nice and professional. She was sickening. Needless to say they lost my business to Mercy forever. And I found a wonderful doctor, and bubthe way off was not the doctor on my insurance card like she said it had to be because in 5 minutes I called and changed it. They just did what they did because of my step mom I am sure. And that is wrong and illegal because I looked it up. Any way I can to report them I am going to. Better business Bureau, Federal Bureau of insurance for social security for Medicare and Medicaid. I am sure the doctors and staff are great but I never got that far because of this one women. She from the get go should have talked to me in private and I should have been given an opportunity to call my insurances to see what I could do. She was just unreal in what she did. I was really humiliated.

Lots of clinics shuffle you in and out, then count the cash. These people are amazing, wonderful and caring. Dr. Simpson-Medved is wide open and a wonderful Doc.

Dr Johnson is now our family doctor. I am 26 and have battled chronic back pain for three years. I have seen orthopedic and neuro surgeons, gone to the ER with no answers. I felt at a loss and went to Dr Johnson. She immediately recognized that this is not something a 26 year should be dealing with and ordered me an MRI. I have a herniated disk. It has taken 3 years but I am SO happy I have an answer. An answer that I still wouldn't have if Dr Johnson didn't take interest in my pain. I appreciate her so much and would recommend her to anyone!

Love this place. The front end staff is so helpful and nice. Very friendly and willing to do whatever they can. The nurses, support staff and physicians are all wonderful and so helpful. Very willing to listen and very nice. I drive specifically to urbandale from Ankeny because I love them all so much!
