The nurse and doctor were very kind. However, the receptionist was completely rude. I called a week in advance for an appointment and she said the appointment was for Monday at 3. When I went in, she said it was set up for March, which was a month ahead of time! Instead of apologizing she made it seem like it was my fault when it was clearly her fault.

Would not recommend this place to anyone... my first appointment in March, I was assured that my medicaid insurance would be accepted. After driving almost 2 hours for a follow up in June, I was informed that they no longer accept medicaid and that my trip was a waste and she would not even see me at all due to this. The staff was aware of my upcoming appointment and the fact that my insurance was no longer accepted, but no one could be bothered to inform me before I made the trip. Extremely unprofessional and just plain rude. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty awful. The staff are very unprofessional, and both times I've been in the PA has seemed very rushed in getting me in and out. Listened politely enough but didn't really seem to be fully considering the symptoms vs my lips looked. Now I get a call saying that because someone they're messed up I can no longer be seen as a patient never going there again

The atmosphere at Skin Solutions is very welcoming and pleasant. Dr. Cook is very thorough and makes you feel confident in whatever your concerns are. I go in every year for a complete skin examination since I have been a sun worshiper most of my life. She also does a fabulous job with Botox!! Highly recommend this company!!

I had a very bad experience at Skin Solutions (Now it is called ForeFront). The price is insane. For the first time I went there for my acne, they charged me 55 dollars after my insurance. However, for the second time I went there just for an update( I did not see a doctor but a nurse, and it took two minutes), they charged me 63 dollars. I dont understand it, so I called them. Their response and attitude was upsetting. I WILL NEVER GO THERE ANY MORE!

Dr. Cook was really great - informative, helpful, and easy to talk to. I felt kind of bad for the woman and daughter in front of me in line at the front desk because they couldn't find their appointment and couldn't get in that day! When I called to doublecheck my appointment time a few weeks before that, they also had a hard time finding it, but thankfully, they did! Still, overall, a very positive experience!

I liked Dr. Cook but the office staff are beyond rude and unprofessional. I was made to feel bad about needing a specific time of day for appointments and when I asked about some specific charges, the office manager was so rude to me. When I did go in for appointments, the office person would act like I was interrupting her day by checking in or needing to schedule a follow up. The office manager also was rude to the receptionist when booking my next appointment and they had an argument in front of me about it. It was uncomfortable. I will not be returning just because of the office staff, not because of Dr. Cook. I would not recommend Skin Solutions to anyone....ever.

I went to Skin Solutions to get warts removed from my hand after trying the over the counter stuff for months. After the first two sessions of cryotherapy the smaller warts were gone and after the third the final one disappeared! The staff are friendly and Nicole is extremely personable. Highly recommend.

I have to agree with some of the other posts - the staff at the front desk was rude and unfriendly, but I also have to give this place 5 stars because of Dr. Cook. She was the 3rd person I'd been to for a skin condition. The first misdiagnosed me (I waited 3 months to see if his prescription worked), the second (at McFarland) dismissed my condition as acne (which it didn't at all resemble), but when I got to Skin Solutions, Dr. Cook actually tested a flake of my skin and diagnosed me correctly. I saw results in two weeks for a condition I'd had for 6 months. I can't thank her enough and would go back even if I had to see the rude women at the front desk again.

This was our first visit and I was very happy with what the dermatologist told us. We were greeted when we walked in right away and we didn't have to wait long - we got right in to the Dr. She was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. She has had the time to really talk to us. I didn't feel rushed and that she made a point to make sure we understood everything she told us. We were very happy with our experience and can't wait to return and continue working with her.

Unfortunately I can not recommend this establishment. I went in to have some spots removed on my face. When I arrived I had let them know that I would pay for any procedures since I knew this was cosmetic and my insurance would not cover it. They did still require me to give them my insurance card, which I did. Once in the room they examined me for about 5 minutes before telling me my options. They were very professional at the time and I was satisfied with the procedure and results. However this is where the professionalism went down hill. As I checked out I paid for everything which if memory serves me correct was $200+ plus I bought some lotion for my face. Everything was paid before I left the office. About a month later I got a bill for $60 which they claimed was my co-pay. They did bill my insurance $100+ even though I had already paid for everything. I called their billing department and they have decided to claim that the first 5 minutes was an exam of my face and considered an office visit which is why they billed the insurance company. I tried to resolve this amicably before writing my review however that did not happen. They are still going to charge the extra $60 co-pay even though they should have never billed my insurance and already received over $100 for the 5 minute office visit. This is probably one of the biggest rip offs I’ve seen in the medical industry and as such I would strongly recommend going to another clinic. If you choose this clinic make sure you get something in writing stating that you’ve paid in full if you don’t plan on submitting to your insurance company.

When I checked in the front desk woman was not friendly, just sort of "Here's your forms, give us your money". I was 30 minutes early, but waited for awhile after my appointment was already supposed to have started. The assistant who came in to talk to me first was nice, friendly, made conversation. Waited longer for the Dr.? to come in. She was nice, but could tell she was in a hurry to get me in and out. Left without a real solution due to some allergies and other circumstances that prevented me from getting what I needed. Not a terrible experience but not outstanding either.

I scheduled an appointment to have the fractional laser treatment performed and as part of their protocol, Dr. Cook said they use an Erbium Yag laser over top of the first one. During the procedure I felt a lot of pain behind my ears because there was no numbing agent in that region; it should go without saying that it was completely unnecessary for her to resurface that area anyway. I ended up with second degree burns which later left more scars on my face because she made multiple passes over the same parts and then other spots were left completely untouched by both treatments as if it was purposely done that way. She also ran the laser up into my hairline on my forehead and on my temples where very little hair grows now. Completely rushed and sloppy job overall. Not worth the amount of money I paid for a 'professional service' and I wish I had taken my business elsewhere. If my experience is any indication of their work, do not go here! P.S. They also make you sign a damn waiver in case you leave without the results you were expecting. This shouldn't cover the outright neglect I experienced.

I thought Kathy Cook did a good job of doing a skin check for me this time. I was a little disappointed the first time I went to her a few years ago. She just had me show her places I was concerned about. The 2nd time she was more thorough, and this time she was very thorough.

I will definitely not be returning to this place. The receptionist is very rude and condescending. I thought she was just having a bad day the first time I called her but she seems to be that way every single time. It also seems that since they changed to Fore Front Dermatology their prices have increased significantly. Prior to them switching company names, my wife was only charged $55 for a full acne consultation (after insurance) in March 2017 where she was even prescribed a cream and pill. However after they switched company names, I was charged $63 for a simple 3 minute follow up visit in which I didn't even speak to Dr. Cook!! What a shame. I tried to file a grievance and they told me "the charge was definitely valid and that was the minimum they could charge me. No free visits". I thought well of course it wouldn't be free but I didn't expect you to charge my insurance $150 and leave me with a $63 bill!!! From seeing the other review by Sierra, it looks like a lot of changes have occurred since changing to Fore Front Dermatology--changes that will NOT have my wife or I coming back! I can now understand why McFarland clinic has a MUCH longer wait time for appointments than Fore Front Dermatology. Everyone is going there instead of these crooks. Unbelievable.
