Had Dr. Dooley not sent me to the ER recently because of an infection, I hate to think of what could have happened. It could have had catastrophic consequences. Needless to say, I have the greatest respect for Dr. Dooley and frankly wish he had been my Dr. throughout my journey with pain since 2004. I have no doubt that I am the most important part of the equation. I cannot say that for the several other physicians that I have had over the years. I finally feel like I am going to get a chance to feel better again. Anne Walters, RN has also been an unwavering caregiver throughout the time I have spent in the practice. She clearly cares most about my care, listening carefully to answers to her questions and carrying them to the Doctor. Together I find them an unbeatable team. I strongly recommend PCI to anyone that is in need of care for Chronic Pain. You will get an honest, straightforward but very caring approach with YOU as the center of the process.

I was pleased with both Dr. Dooley and his staff. My appointment was on Saturday at 3:40pm. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I didn't have to wait very long to be called into an exam room. Once the nurse left the exam room it took only a minute or two before Dr. Dooley entered the room for a complete physical exam. I felt that Dr. Dooley did a very thorough physical exam. He completed a very thorough neurological exam, was extremely professional, listened to what I had to say and was pleasant. I am pleased. Also the clinic is very close to my residence so that is also a plus. Excellent job!! Keep it up!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dooley's since he opened his clinic doors in Davenport. I had been to several out of town pain doctors for tx for my condition and severe pain, but I was soooo overdosed with pain medication that I was like a zombie! Dr. Dooley has helped immensely with re/evaluating my conditions and the oral meds. and getting my health back on track to recovery! Although his bed side manners sometimes could use improvement, Dr Dooley's knowledge of treatment is considered one of the best! The office staff is excellent, always a cheerful greeting and willing to assist in any way! I've always believed treating others as I would like to be treated. You have to remember doctors are not without daily issues, i.e.: health, family, financial, and the biggest- dealing with sick, hurting patients of all kinds! God bless Dr. Dooley and his staff!

I have been working here for two years now, and the amount of patients that have drastically changed and improved for the better is astonishing. If you are just wanting to fill up on medications and not FIX the problem, this is NOT the place. But if you are willing to go through the steps SAFELY to find PERMANENT RELIEF and get your LIFE BACK, then you have found the RIGHT clinic. Not to mention Dr. Dooley is one of the TOP DOCTORS in his Specialty!!

The staff is courteous, timely, kind, and professional. My appointment was right on the scheduled time. Dr. Dooley listens to me and we work out a feasreason pain management plan together and scheduled imagery appointment for me for chronic pain.

If I could give less stars I would. Dr Dooley and the np Michelle screwed me over for several months then took away all pain meds and gave me diclofenac instead. We had already tried diclofenac with no help. I begged them to take a closer look at my back and nothing. I've since needed an mri, back surgery and I'm looking at at least one more back surgery before they resolve issues that would've showed up on a simple xray. I called today to get a referral elsewhere and was hung up on. Thank you for absolutely not helping me in any way Dr Dooley. Please go anywhere but here. Edit: I didn't refuse my mri. I had to have a hysterectomy, which your office was well aware of, and was required to wait six weeks before I was even allowed to have an mri done. Which Dr Dooley encouraged me to not have the hysterectomy done despite menstruating for 8 months. I'd encourage you to check those records again. I did have a lapse in insurance which I also kept your office in the loop about and I was punished for it by having my entire treatment plan yanked. Btw, my back required a hemi-laminectomy/ discectomy from l3-l5. I don't think the cortisone injection offered would have helped.

Michelle Prisner is amazing and all of the girls in Burlington are wonderful. They always go above and beyond. I have gone through hell and for a small moment while in their presence they make me forget about my pain. I am truly grateful for their caring hearts.

I have never been treated more rudely in my life I arrive to three angry ladies behind the desk because I was 10 minutes late and insisted they did not receive my paperwork I believe my insurance is part of the reason and I would not recommend this place to anyone that likes to be treated with kindness.

My experience was not a good one. I am 17 and have had severe back and neck pain for 5 years. My parents have tried everything and I was eventually referred to this clinic by my doctor. Dr. Dooley was manipulative and snarky towards me, and I ended up in tears. The first thing he told me when I came was "I don't even know why you're here." I gave him a detailed explanation of my pain but apparently he didn't understand. He felt my back and dismissed 5 years of pain by saying "everything feels normal." All I wanted was some help and some insight based on my symptoms and he acted like I shouldn't be there and I was wasting his time. His attitude was so cold and snarky that I burst into tears. I went to this clinic to gain insight on what is causing my pain or at least find a way to manage it, but Dr Dooley did nothing for me besides making me feel stupid and acting like my pain doesn't exist. Even when I was crying he had a smirk on his face and an unwelcoming attitude. He told me to do some exercises for my neck even though I told him that I've done the same exercises in physical therapy and they didn't work. He didn't seem to believe me when I told him that i've already tried physical therapy for months. He also prescribed me a stronger version of an anti-inflammatory drug that I had already tried. But the drug that I had already tried did not work AT ALL, and it would have at least worked a little bit if I truly had an inflammation based problem. If Dr Dooley did not have a solution to my problem, I would completely understand. But I would have rather him just tell me that then waste my time and cause me emotional pain. I'm sure that Dr Dooley is a smart man, but he really needs to improve his people skills and learn how not to offend and belittle people who have been suffering for years.

Would not recommend this place to anybody. Dr. Dooley has awful beside manner and can be fairly rude. Will NEVER go back to his awful institution and will be sure to tell EVERYONE to avoid this place.

Dr. Dooley, in a very friendly and informative manner, addressed my back pain issues. He checked me out, explained what was causing my back pain, and spelled out the course of action needed to resolve my back pain issues. He told me the way it is, and I appreciated it.

I can't speak on the quality of professionalism with the doctor because I never made it past the front desk. The lady at the front desk was by far the most RUDEST, UNPROFESSIONAL staff member I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. It was to the point I cancelled my appointment (there are other professionals that will be more than willing to take my money!) Before I even made it to seeing the doctor! I should have went with my gut and listened to all the horrible reviews regarding the facility!

I had been suffering with migraines and after my first visit I feel like I am on the right path to at least less migraines. Thank goodness! Ok, 3 months and just had 2nd botox for migraines and I have only had 1 migraine since the first dose, 3 months ago! Certainly a life changer! If you get migraines you definitely need to look into this!

I've never been seen there nor do I plan too. I'm just looking up just to see what's out there. I talked to my sister who is a M.D. In another state.... she wanted to know, " why has anyone not bothered to file a complaint with the Medical Board? I had major back surgery in 2007 at the age of 32. No accident. My back just went out. I dealt with the pain for two years. Then I had surgery and I was off for six months. I pretty much gave up my teaching degree! I could not stand for 45 to 50 hrs a week. I had a great team of pain doctors in my state! I moved to IA and last year my back started again. I have switched hospitals and all of my doctors since they were pretty clueless. My new doctor is great... set me up with P/T and my appt with their spine doctor. All I can say is to your homework on your doctors if I did I would of never seen the 3 I saw plus the one at The Univ.

Overall this clinic helps many people with chronic pain. Friendly staff with caring and positive people. Only one person does not hold or represent these values. I was insulted as well as my children because of our mental disorder by this person. Hopefully you will not experience this but one cold hearted person should not influence your decision.

I was very happy with my experience there. The nurse was amazing at helping me see a Dr i seen a few years back and he was familiar with my issues and his knowledge in his field is what i highly respect. He may not be looking for his next fishing buddy but he is there to help. And thats what i respect and appreciate. And i didnt take my fishing pole. I took my back issues and pain there. For help. And thats what i got. Thank you all. To those complaining. Go get blue cross and travel. Dont go to McDonald's and mad you got a cheeseburger. You was hungry when you got to the drive thru.

Working for Dr. Dooley now 6 years, I have seen many patients successfully meet the safety requirements and improve their funtional goals and alleviate their pain. I have also see angry patients want their medications, who take the time to post. I obviously can not comment about their issues openly due to HIPAA-, but we are intolerant to enabling safety risks. We love our patients; especially those serious about getting help.
