They were listed as closed on the forum website during a snow storm, I called and no one answered so I did not go to my appt. when I called about rescheduling I was not told I could not due to being a new patient and no showing. I did not no show and explained that, but was told it was “policy”. I understand policy, I also understand patient care. The way I was treated and what was implied was unacceptable. I am a provider myself and would be extremely upset if patients were treated this way. It’s unfortunate as I was referred and had heard good things.

Not sure about the other reviews, but this place has been amazing to me! From the front desk staff to my doctor, Dr. Doshi, everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful all the way through my treatment, which can be hard for anyone feeling insecure about their skin. Everyone there is very thorough with what to expect and how to tackle any skin issues. Dr. Doshi and her team are truly helpful and will answer any question that you have. The team there is also very communicative and always available if you need them. A big thank you to everyone there for making me feel confident in my skin again! I would highly recommend!!

Horrible! Do not visit. Caused damage to my skin. Had a simple rash that he called a "complex" case. So complex another dermatologist solved it in ONE visit. If you care about your skin, time or money, go find anyone else!

Both times I've taken my daughter, we have had to wait. I mean WAIT. We sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes and the we were put in a room. We have been sitting for 23 minutes...still waiting. If I were thus late they wouldn't see me but $55 co-pay and 1 hour goes by and I'm still waiting. NOT WORTH IT!

Awesome doctors and wonderful staff. No wait time and Dr. Shek was very professional, smart and caring. Very happy I finally found a great dermatologist with a very friendly staff. They took great care of me and went above and beyond with all the care I needed and with answering all my questions. I felt very comfortable and happy to be there.

If I could give zero stars I would. As the relative of someone on Medicaid, I find it extremely disappointing that Bryan and his clinic will not file with any of the MCOs, even with out-of-network requests. There are no dermatologists in close proximity to Waterloo and Cedar Falls who will work with Medicaid patients, whatsoever. Just because someone is on Medicaid doesn't mean they aren't deserving of dermatological care. This particular policy is a great example of kicking people while they're already down.

I like coming to dermatologist appointments here because the appointments are always quick, and I'm usually out of there in 15 minutes or less after my original scheduled appointment. I also like it because the staff is very nice and considerate.

I would not recommend this place for the following reasons: 1. I arrived early yet still had to wait over 35 min past my appt time to see the doctor with no apology offered 2. I called the pharmacy for a renewal of my topical antibiotic prescription, but they could not renew without doctor's approval. Dermatology Assoc wouldn't renew my prescription without seeing me (even though they had in the past 3 years), and then I couldn't get an appointment for over 2 weeks. Meanwhile, I told them I was out of my prescription, and had to endure an acne flare up because they couldn't see me any sooner, and didn't have any samples of my antibiotic to hold me over. 3. When I described the above situation to the doctor, she offered no apology, but then suggested that I should visit my primary care in the future if I can't get in on their schedule. Again, I don't understand why they couldn't call in my prescription to the pharmacy (the same one that I've been on for the past 3 years, which they had been authorizing) to keep my condition under control until they could see me. Instead, I had to endure a flare up because their calendar was over booked. 4. When I tried to book next year's appointment a year in advance to avoid this same situation next year, I was told they only book 6 months in advance. 5. The doctor I saw today (Dr. Anu Jayaraman) didn't agree with the previous prescription regimen that Dr. Mina Yar had previously prescribed. When I asked for an explanation for their difference of opinion, Dr. Jayaraman told me she didn't know why Dr. Yar would have written the prescription the way she had. Uuuum, these are doctors who work in the exact same office, but apparently they don't really speak to each other. Dr. Jayarman did not offer to follow up with Dr. Yar to see if she could understand their differences. In summary, I felt like just another number there, and these doctors didn't really seem to care about my medical treatment whatsoever. Take your business elsewhere!

Today I had a completely different experience vs. the other reviews. When I arrived the facility was newly renovated and looked extremely nice and professional. The staff at the desk was very helpful, kind, and outgoing. I immediately was called back into a room where a very nice tech spoke to me about my issues. By the time I changed into a gown for an exam Dr. Doshi was ready for me. She was fantastic! Very very very nice, professional and very articulate about my issues. Great experience from my point of very and I will continue to come back.

Outstanding professionals! They are very understanding, knowledgeable, great listeners and caring people. The office staff are very friendly in person or on the phone. I’m very pleased how they handled my problem. Knowing I needed to get in and take care of the problem, they had me come in the next day. Thanks to the medical staff! My wife and I get our annual checkups. Prevention is a good thing. Update on recent appointments. First off, I would give Rhian Gronewold a rating of 7 on a scale of 1-5 where 5 is the best. For years, while in Orange Beach, I was having a skin problem. The doctor I met didn't know what I had, he came up with a different diagnosis each time. His answer was giving me a different prescription. Nothing ever worked. While home, the condition came back so I wanted another opinion. When I went to Rhian, she knew exactly what it was, gave me a shot in the areas and now they are gone. She is amazing!
