Nothing but wonderful experiences here at Greenwood Dermatology! Dr. Stitle is so kind, she really listens to her patients, and makes every effort to correct the problem. Dr Eads and the staff there are wonderful! Everyone is friendly and very efficient. Dr Eads removes a mole I had been extremely self conscious about on my eyelid. Im truly baffled by all the stellar reviews, these must be friends or paid reviews, maybe even relatives of employees, or lastly people who just lucked out. Ive been to this Dermatologist twice Both times with Dr. Stitle, I was not very happy with the first visit. My latest visit has hit an all time low. The receptionist informed me of an issue with my insurance card and asked if I had a new card. I informed her that I did not but was pretty sure my insurance policy number had stayed the same. I took half a day off to make this appointment being it was at 7am and I didn't want to be late for work. Unfortunately, the insurance company didn't open till 8 so she could not simply phone and verify. This is when things started its downward spiral. First, they called back another gentlemen who had arrived after me, Odd I thought. Secondly when being backed back I was again informed of the same issue with my insurance card and I gave her the same answer as before. Finally, after getting back to the room the Dr. came in and her first question was about why I came in but then went right into what's the issue with my insurance card. I gave her my same response about being with the same employer for 12 years and having the same insurance company. She seemed to be ok with my answer and left the room to get "supplies" but soon after the staff member that had walked me back came back in and stated the Dr is really concerned about insurance card issue and wants to know if I could pay 100.00 before service. I do understate that people need to get paid for their service, but my wife has been to this Dermatologist several times and I had been once before. It's not like I was a walk-in patient, I have built up some re-pour with this office and for them to solely focus on my payment was very disheartening. I simply stood up informed her I would reschedule my appointment at a different dermatologist. At 8 am I phoned my insurance company and there was a change in my policy number, but for them to have lost faith in me and simply not waiting an hour to get the new number was reason enough for me to get a new dermatologist

I saw a Derm here in the fall of 2012. No big deal, got an Rx, filled it, no problems. A year later they left voicemail messages for me while I was out of town about an upcoming appt. I never responded, but once I got back in town it was past my appointment. They tried to bill me for an appointment that I did not schedule and assured me I had scheduled a 1 year follow up at my intial visit. (Which I would not have done given the issue I had originally seen my Derm for.) I refused to pay the bill after mulitple attempts to collect wtih threats to send me to collections and never heard from them again. Until November of 2014 when they again called me and told me of my upcoming appointment this Thursday! Whaaaaaattttt!? Are you freakign serious!! (As if I would ever go back there.) No knock on their docs, but their office management is clueless about their scheduling software... no wonder they don't have any openings! The nerve of these idiots!!

We have been going to Greenwood Dermatology since we moved up here in 2016. We are extremely pleased with the service at the front desk, and the appointments personnel. They do a great job. Dr Eads is very thorough efficient in his exams. He also has his appointments scheduled very well. I get in to see him within 5 to 10 minutes of my appointment time. I have had to have 3 places taken off, and his nurses are efficient also. Dr Eads has been able to remove them within 5 to 10 minutes. My wife sees Dr Stitle. I am just leaving Dr. Thomas J. Eads office for my second visit. This man is awesome! I've struggled for years with my autoimmune disease and he has helped me gain control again. I have visited many different doctors over the years including the V.A. medical center and I will not be going anywhere else from this point on. Dr. Eads quickly assessed my personal medical situation and took an aggressive approach instead of making multiple visits trying different medications. DO NOT COME TO THIS FACILITY!!!!! I was referred to them by my employer. I was having issues with a mole. Dr Stitle was my physician. I was diagnosed with Melanoma after she biopsied the mole. She scheduled me to come back in, to go deeper into the skin with the removal, to make sure all borders were removed. She SHOULD have referred me to a plastic surgeon at that point with how much she actually planned on removing! they failed to get me numb in all the areas so I felt her cutting into my skin, and it was PAINFUL! She gave me 20 stitches and I was left with the UGLIEST SCAR I have ever seen! its quite large and raised and very bumpy where all the stitches were! it looks like my skin is bubbling!! I came back in a month later for them to check the healing, they said it was healing fine.... then I was left with an ugly scar and a MASSIVE bill. They refused to see me afterwards for continued follow up because I was unable to pay at least $100 on this massive bill monthly. I tried to reason with a low payment plan and refused and sent me to collections! Its been almost 2 years later and this gigantic scar has not improved one bit. DO NOT LET THEM REMOVE MOLES ON YOUR BODY!!! they will do THE WORST job with stitching when they should be sending people to a plastic surgeon!

So I finally went and all my years of accumulating bumps, skin growths, odd shape and color tags and freckles I was pronounced OK. Any way, a visit will give you a sense of up to date modern techniques along with old fashioned professionalism so difficult to find, If you need a dermatologist and miss this experience,well, just don't. additionally, it didn't hurt to have a sweet girl there, cheryl jent helping with scheduling and such

My office visits were rushed. The Dr. had a sarcastic tone each time and I was a new patient with a sincere concern. The Dr.'s attitude seemed to make the nurse uncomfortable as well, judging by her actions during the appointment. I felt talked down too and was very surprised by this type of behavior coming from a physician. Never in my life have I encountered a situation like this. Personalities are unique and this Dr.'s personality treated me like I was an inconvenience, wasting his time.

This place is horrible! I was surprised when I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. I arrived and started filling out my paperwork and before I finished my name was called, thought that was a little weird. But, then I am in the room and Dr Eads comes in with some laughing girl assistant. They both could care less why you are there. I was covered in hives and needed to find out why. All he kept saying it was something I ate. He told me since I didn't have a co-payment on my insurance, to come back in a few days, I asked why he said to see if the hives are gone! He didn't prescribe anything so why was I coming back?!?! (I didn't) He was only in my room about 3 minutes. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, that is including the paperwork. The hives were due to a medication that I had been on for 5 years but he could care less. And his stupid assistant just leans against the wall laughing at all of his condesending comments!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!

I had an awful experience with Greenwood Dermatology. I was misdiagnosed and wasted money going there on three different occasions, none of which remotely helped my problem. I had to wait 30 minutes in the waiting room, another 20 after getting my name called, and then the appointment lasted (seriously) 90 seconds with no time for inspection / questions / concerns. After every appointment I walked away with ointment they had in stock and a lighter wallet for a misdiagnosed problem. There were so many issues with the doctor that I don't feel the need to go into depth about the grumpiness of the receptionists and nurses. Stay away.
