I was very nervous as this was my first time ever going to a dermatologist, they made me feel at ease and comfortable. Told me every step they were going to do and what to expect. I do highly recommend them.

Thank you to a top notch Dermatology office with great staff, friendly and most of all will get you in the office at your appointment time as I have never had to wait over 5 min in the waiting room. The office was clean and comfortable and the staff were really nice. I saw Brittany LaFreese and she was so polite and took time to listen to my concerns. I actually presented 2 problems and she didn’t hesitate to address them both. She offered several options for treatment rather than just saying “do this”, and explained potential side effects for all prescribed medications. She also made sure I knew it was okay to call the office if I had any problems with the regimen she prescribed. I would absolutely suggest this office to anyone seeking dermatological care and am so glad I went.

I'm African American and I had a very unethical and unprofessional experience. The nurse manager maliciously canceled a prescription I've been waiting a month for due to internal failures. My insurance company was sent my original prescription order 4 plus weeks ago without the required lab on purpose and it was denied. I spent weeks with phones nurses to find this out and I had the lab sent the results same day and bioplus contacted. That day someone who claimed to be nurse manager threatened to terminate my services because it was brought to her attention that my insurance company was inappropriately contacted without the required labwork for the prescription, and I had been waiting for weeks in a painful position. The manger tried to argue with me but I hung up on her Friday and cowardly called bioplus and canceled the prescription delivery that took a month to straighten out because the nurse staff sent the insurance company without labs in the first place and it was denied multiple times. I questioned if this was about my race because why would the nurse staff keep purposely sending a request knowing it would be denied over and over without my labs. Keep in mind my labs where completed a month ago on the same day as my appointment. The so called manager never even called or put a note in my chart that she was maliciously going to cancel the prescription that took me a month to get because the same nurse kept purposely sending it to the insurance company without the lab. How many other African Americans recieved fraudulent denials. There was no legal or medical reason for this nurse to send improper paperwork but she did and when I confronted her she went behind my back and canceled the insurance request. I'm reporting this every where I can and I recorded our call. No letter, no chart note no notice my bioplus delivery would be canceled because I confronted the manager about the improper insurance request. They knew better so why do this to me ? No apology then to turn around after weeks of the nurse staff doing the wrong thing, now you cancel the needed prescription April really? I cant sit and it hurts when I walk but OKKK ! As of 7/23/2019 the office manager has still refused to provide my medical records requested multiple times in writing. The nerve to have a attorney threaten me via email but not sending my medical records is outrageous. This post is much deserved. Today is 8/19/19 and my new doctor has reached out to this facility for my lab work and medical file via signed release and this office still has not provided my medical documentation to the doctors office. I'm going on two months plus trying to get the same medication and my insurance will not pay for new labs. Keep in mind this doctors office has had a attorney send me harassing letters and emails but refuses to send my medical file. This speaks volumes and demonstrates my review claim and why I keep updating it. Instead of sending me a threat multiple because you got caught this office could have just sent my labs right ? This entire situation could be over and done with but the office is refusing to send my medical files going on two months plus. Isnt that illegal ? Now my new doctor's office is involved and has called this office to get my medical records personally TODAY since my release was refused. How is this review salacious I respond, when there is recorded calls, date stamped call log, medical records refusal noted by new doctor's office too other people are now involved in the timeline so this office cant say I'm making this up. I'm african american and was told to use acid on open wounds not hibiclens or another non painful antiseptic, literally my prescription was for a acne cleaner to burn the hell out of me. Then my insurance company was sent my other prescription without the proper paperwork and it was denied for a month and I was told its proper procedure to purposely send off PA without the required labs ? Now we are in August and the office is refusing to provide my medical records to the new office.

Im African american this facility is not for me. Pay attention to your insurance billing and prescription requests, staff improperly handled my prescription and purposely sent my insurance company the wrong information so that it was denied. When I confronted staff 3 weeks into to the error I was met with a complete cancellation of my prescription and cease and desist letter from the office when I posted this review. Thank God I recorded all calls and have date stamped support to document how the office handled my medical file. A prescription that required lab work and such a high dose for my condition was absolutely mishandled and tossed aside.

I highly recommend the Greenwood office! I have been to Plainefield as well and Greenwood is as wonderful. The location is better for me now and was easy to get to. Miss B. LaFree was so helpful and put me at ease as soon as she walked in the room. She listened to me and explained all aspects of my visit. My procedure was easier than stated and and healing well. Follow up to come in the next few weeks and will continue my dermatology needs with her and this office. The office staff was pleasant and very helpful. Thank you so very much.
