I am a middle aged male with a fairly rare auto-immune disease that has caused extreme arthritis in major joints. I am a new patient of Dr. Barbara, and upon my initial visit, he had not heard of my disease. My second visit, 6 weeks later, surprised me. Dr. Barbara had done research into my particular disease and ordered food allergy tests, something that had not been done yet (my diagnosis was arrived at in 2015). What the tests showed was a very strange mix of food allergies, one quite severe. We never would have figured this out by process of elimination. Now going on 6 weeks later, my adjusted diet has given me a quality of life before undreamed of. This one's a keeper...
