I cannot say enough good things about this office. The doctors are phenomenal. They are all amazing. The staff is also great. They are always available via phone to answer even the smallest questions. They set aside many appointments for same-day sick calls which is so amazing.

Here, doctors talk to you like you are dumb. I finally switched to Northshore Pediatrics after our 3rd visit, after the doctor told me I shouldn't over-nurse my baby so that I don't set her up for obesity issues, along some other very bad nursing advice she doled out. I don't know where she is getting her breastfeeding information from, but it is impossible to over-nurse a breastfed baby. They act like they are doing you a favor by seeing you— the three different doctors I saw here all barely said hello to me before immediately handling my child and checking her diaper to make sure I was "cleaning her right," which I was, thank you very much. Suburban Pediatrics was recommended to my by my OBGYN, but after being with our current amazing pediatricians at Northshore, I can't even believe the lack of personality, breastfeeding knowledge, and service at Suburban Peds.

So disappointed. We were on vacation and my son developed classical symptoms of strep throat, thus needing antibiotics. There were no urgent care clinics in the area and the closest one (25 miles away) was closed due to Columbus Day. All I needed was a prescription and this office would not do it ("they don't treat over the phone"). I can understand it but this was an extreme situation and I REALLY NEEDED MY DOCTOR TO STEP UP AND HELP. Any pediatrician can give immunizations and do regular check ups but a carrying physician will do anything to help your child under unusual circumstances.
