I don’t like how doctor take care off my child, I ask many times for some medication about my baby Cough, about not good shape of his head, about the rashes, about allergy taste! All the time she told me we don’t need this! And you can’t do anything! Also about how they checking the baby, one time different doctor from that place did here my son has pneumonia! How they exams the kids lags, body! All the time I have to ask many questions all the time I have to push them to do something! They can check fewer, weight, and give antibiotics all the time, they never help! I’m very mad about this doctors, because we lost time and it’s nothing we can do now with my baby head! We not recommend this place at all! But all doctors is very nice, office is clean! But this is not helping at all!

Suburban Healthcare Associates is a great practice! I highly recommend Dr. Pethkar. He is very professional, polite, positive and down to earth person that makes you feel at home. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, caring and make it easy to schedule appointments. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Pethkar and his staff for years and are extremely happy and blessed we found a practice that makes you feel like family.

My wife was treated unprofessionally when we took our kids for a physical. They said their was a $200 balance due by blue cross to them. Blue cross assumed my kids were covered by my wife’s ins. Last yr. but we’re under me and never paid the health care. My wife called blue shield 6 months ago to straighten this out because I know for sure I have ins. Coverage through my job and I don’t pay for ins at all. So this is an issue between them still. A lady at the doctors office that works their said she works for blue shield and said In an angry loud manner that we have to pay on the spot or the kids would not be looked at. She was loud, made many comments and disrespectful and wouldn’t get on the phone with blue shield blue cross and my wife present to resolve this issue. She checked for coverage and we have coverage. So after all we were refused the checkups and will be looking into this matter more for being refused with coverage and them not wanting to deal with blue shield. She looked frustrated and didn’t want to deal with the ins. Over the phone “guessing she would know better” since she stated she deals or works with blue shield, they rather lose customers I guess.

I called because I needed to see my Dr because of a injury. They would not help me saying that there was no Dr working. When I asked why since it was 2 +hours before they were going to close they wouldn't give me a answer. The lady over the phone flat out said she wouldn't help me and hung up on me. When I tried calling back on my phone she wouldn't answer. I called from my daughter's phone and they picked up right away. After giving me and my husband no answers or no help, I found out they said we were rude to them when it was the other way around and dropped us as patients with no notice at all. So I had to scramble to find a new Dr right away to refill my medicine. Horrible horrible for anyone to be treated like this by there Dr office after being a patient there for a long time. No one should ever be treated like this. Untrue about the response.

AMAZING OFFICE! I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the office. They deserves more than five stars. My family and I have been going to this office since 2013. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful on the phone. Got me in as soon as possible so many times before. I really like their online check in. So easy! The billing department has been so helpful when I needed a bill for my insurance. The nurses always greet you with much kindness and very professional. My family and I have seen every doctor in the office for our routine visits , sick visits , school physical visits and even at the hospital. The doctors here actually care about your health. They have good bedside manners. Even when you’re feeling overwhelmed or so worried about your diagnosis, they make you feel calm. If you go to this office, I can guarantee that you’re in great/ safe hands. So thankful for Suburban Healthcare Associates! Thank you all so much for providing such wonderful service!

I have been taken my daughter to this clinc for two years I love the nurses and doctors (5 stars for them) they are always so helpfull and happy to see us, I see they care and I will keep comming back. Unfortunately I can not say the same about the girls at the front desk. They are always in a bad mood and have certain attitude in the way they express themselves, they barely talk to you, have no expression on their faces and even the way they answer the phone is awful! They don't even let you talk and put you in hold and don't take your call back. I hope they can get more friendly faces soon.

Dr Pethkar and Dr Kher have been helping me and my family for past 16 years and I can say this with hands down that they are living Gods . They are the best humans and really good detailed and thorough doctors. I live 40 miles away from their offices but I wouldn't want to go anywhere or to anyone for any medical needs. I have been fortunate to meet these great souls. Their diagnosis is detail and I rely on them for any advises. #DrPethkarSuburbanHealthcareAssociates Doctor Pethkar is a great doctor, and cares about his patients, and his PA Gabe is good. The other PA some new lady is not very good at all. I don't think the Doctor realizes how awful his staff is.They walk around and look like zombies, and could care less, have not expression on their face. Very disorganized. They called me to cancel the appointment and than charged me for a miss appointment. The office staff is made up of young Hispanic girls who seem to not no what's going on. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION. The office manager is impossible to talk to and she is the only adult in the office. She is monotone and if you disagree with her she gets very rude and raises her voice. I need medication and the pharmacy showed me proof that they sent them the refills and that they received it and the denied it. So I was with out my medication and had to make numerous calls. I made a mistake of reoffering someone to the doctor, and again said the same thing; they liked the doctor but didn't trust his staff. Like I said the doctor was good, but not good enough to have to deal with mean spirited, poor attitude workers, that could care less about the health of the people. I tried for a while, because of the doctor, but I had a growing concern if I had a serious illness if they would be organized and care enough to help me out. If you do go they have a office in Joliet, its a bit better buy not much. Good luck

Dr pethkar and Dr kher are both equally amazing, I've been going to dr pethkar for nearly 15 years and I trust no other Dr. My kids all moved back to Chicago and still drive out when they are sick. Dr pethkar listens to your concerns and treats you with compassion, both of them treat you like family. The girls in the office always make sure you get an appointment when you are available and they are always so nice.

Dr. Sanjay Pethkar great doctor I had him for 8 years until I started having problems with the office staff and I brought it to his attention and hell broke loose after that. I received a call letting me know I was no longer welcomed as a patient, not only me but all my family members. Dr Pethkar is a great doctor and if you want to stay as a patient don't complain about the staff. And as a punishment they refused to transfer my medical records to my new doctor unless I paid for them when in reality transfer of medical records from doctor to doctor is free of charge.
