Would not recommend this place to anyone! Not only was the wait time long, when I was finally seen I told the assistant that was taking care of me that I had a referral from my pcp. When she left the room (you can hear everything that they're saying even with the door closed) she threw hell over me having the referral. Not only did they make me feel very unwelcome because of that referral, it was so unprofessional!!! Even if I didn't have the referral they were still in network with my insurance, extremely unprofessional environment

My experiences with both doctors were extremely professional and competent. I had no problems and both did their job well. The wait time was a little long both in the waiting room and the exam room. But, they are a very busy practice. They're working on the problem from what I've been told. They understand out time is valuable, as well.

Had my first appointment today at Bakal Dermatology. I got there a few minutes early since there is paper work to fill out. The front staff was friendly and helpful. I only had to wait about 5 minutes and was taken to a room. Was welcomed by the doctor she was so friendly and really listen to what I had to say.She answered all my questions and wrote me a script and gave me samples of some item to help me. I have an appointment to see them in 3 weeks and I will be returning. If you need dermatology treatment please see Bakal Dermatology you won't regret it.

Don't DO any cosmetic procedures in that place, they will charge you for the office visit plus any procedure they do. I been told on the phone that the cosmetic procedures are out of packet expense however, I had to pay for office visit because the doctor decided to do eyelids inspection on me !

If I could I would leave a big 0 , the nurses are rude as well as the front desk staff , I have to incidents where I need to talk to one of the nurses no answer o return my call ended up in the ER changing doctors for sure .

One of the best dermatologists I’ve been to. I lived in Schaumburg when I found them, I live in Naperville now and still won’t switch. I randomly found them when I did a nearby search when I still lived in Schaumburg and I’m so glad I did. I went in for something I thought was no biggie to find out it was skin cancer. Vanessa is the doctor I see and she is amazing, hands down. She’s always made me feel like we’re friends- asks questions about my job, my boyfriend, his kids etc. Even when she was telling me I had skin cancer, of course I started crying and even her eyes started welling up and she said I was one of the youngest patients she’s ever had with skin cancer and you could just see in her eyes how much she cared. I’m moving even further now but still plan on making the drive to see Vanessa. Definitely recommend.

Hi everyone. This is the first time I have taken time to write a review for some one. I was suffering with severe acne since am 14 years old. Now am 28 and I was still suffering till few months ago. I used several on store medicines and visited many doctors but my problem persisted for years. I visited Vanessa Dybala with acne problem. She was so friendly and she listened to me patiently and answered all my questions. With in 3 weeks I could see the changes. I only made 2 visits to her before I moved to another state. Now I do not have acne and my acne marks have disapperd.i have smooth skin. She is amazing doctor and she knows what she is doing exactly. Thank you so much for my skin. I have been longing for over a decade to loose acne.

I went there for a rash on my arms and chest. I wanted a patch test because I thought I had a food allergy. Dr. J Bakal took about 5 minutes (most of the time typing on the computer) to check the rash. He then quickly said I needed 20 "light' treatments starting immediately. After going through 12 of the treatments, the rash was spreading. I made another appointment to see him. When he walked into the room he did check my arm and said he would schedule me for a patch test. When I asked why he wanted me to go for the 20 "light" treatments before; his reply was 'we gave it the old college try'. His office help is friendly and nice but he needs some serious help in any bed side manner. I won't go back again. I'm presently going to another dermatologist.

I went to Bakal for an assessment with Leigh. She and the office staff were very friendly and welcoming. The biopsy came back positive for skin cancer, which I obviously had to get removed. Dr Jeff Bakal performed my procedure. While his bedside manner could have been more friendly, he was all business and removed 100% of the cancerous tissue. I was concerned about a scar, since the cancer was near my scalp. After fully healing, I was pleasantly surprised that my scar is only a small straight line. This means he did a great job analyzing the area he had to remove and stitched it properly. There were no issues with insurance or billing and my follow up for stitch removal was a breeze. Overall, my experience was great.
