I love the Women's Clinic. I have always found the staff to be very courteous and timely. There is occasionally a wait, but that seems normal to me as any doctor's office might get backed up a bit if a patient needs more time with the doctor. Dr. Timothy West is my doctor and he is fantastic. I sometimes am unable to see him at my appointments, but it is because he is at a birth or in surgery, which seem like very good reasons to miss my appointment. I'm glad he's taking good care of other mamas. I never have troubled scheduling, they always call to remind me of my appointments, I love the front desk staff, my ultrasound technicians have all been wonderful. Can't say enough good things! Even the billing department (right there) is easy to deal with.

I typically am crying as I leave the appointments I go there wait for 45mins (understandably I wait if the doctor is delivering a baby and I’m made aware of it)and then have a quick “yeah pregnancy sucks” answer when I just want advice or help. I really like the ultrasound techs. I just think the doctor and nurse don’t like me so they try to get me out of there ASAP. I dont know it sucks to have that experience. I’ve had family members that went there for multiple pregnancies and had nothing but great things to say. I’m in my 3rd trimester with twins and I just can’t take it anymore finally seeking other assistance google can only answer so many questions.

Kei Drashner

Absolutely useless unless you're trying to have a baby. I was on birth control for 8 years and I went off it and immediately started experiencing constant crippling pain. They and I both know it is a uterine issue and they refuse to treat me. They talk to me like I'm stupid and lied to my mother. I'll be going to a back alley van before I visit them again.

5 stars to Dr Feighner! Great job on my surgery. She is very caring, knowledgeable & professional. Their staff in the ooffice was very good & the surgery center staff & nurses were wonderful.

Deidra W

Love my dr but the staff is horrible to deal with. Thinking about switching providers.

Katelyn Dayhoff

Horrible. Staff is constantly rude to my husband when trying to make appointments for me. Dr. Chasin is a nightmare, she comes off so rude. My husband asked her some questions and she would turn away from him and tell ME the answer. My husband felt totally disrespected. Tried to make an appointment, they said they'd call us back. No call. I haven't been seen since week 20 and am now 32 weeks pregnant. You wait forever (45+ mins) just to see the doctor for 5 mins. I'm so over this clinic. Going elsewhere so late in my pregnancy sucks, but I can't trust this place.

Love the staff.

The staff is so kind and professional. In my experiences I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to check in or be seen. All staff members from front desk to ultrasound techs were empathetic, quick to return phone calls, and sincere. Thank you Women's Clinic and a special shout out to our favorite nurse, Erica! Thank you for all you do!

I couldn’t be more impressed with Dr. West and his nurse Christie. I have PCOS and have had a few intense pregnancies that should have never made it to term due to the unbelievable medical obstacles. I have three beautiful children because Dr. West is my doctor. My oldest is 18 and youngest is 5. Dr. Timothy West is an amazing doctor but he is also an amazing person who has the best bedside manner of any person I have ever met. I often refer to him as the crazy pregnant lady hormone whisperer.

Justin Carter

My girlfriend and I had terrible experiences with this hospital. The very first ultrasound was rushed through just to get to their next appointment because THEY were running behind, like that's our fault. Dr. Hudson is never in and my girlfriend is now 10 weeks and still hasn't seen an OB. Scheduling staff seem highly inadequate at their jobs and constantly cancel appointments and then lie saying "you have no voicemail," "we meant to send a letter," and "we called." This place always seems behind and like they are running around trying to figure stuff out as they go along. We are finding a new provider as soon as possible.

Amber Drobny

Dr. Keating is helpful, personable and honest. I love it here.

I was referred to Dr. Lowder by my nurse practitioner at Boise State when I found out I was pregnant. She used to work with him and thought him an excellent doctor. He is nice and funny, but I look for more than that in someone treating me. He never answers my questions or gives me information that is useful. His nurse is even worse. I went in for a 13 week check up and he told me I miscarried and that I would pass everything on my own within a month and everything should be fine. He said it would be like normal menstrual cramping. Then without time to collect myself, his nurse ushered my husband and I from the exam room. I returned to the office 4 days later experiencing the worst pain of my life. I asked to speak with his nurse and she told me to go home and take an ibuprofen. I had already taken some. I was vomiting from the pain and had almost passed out on my way to the office. I could barely walk due to pain. She took me into the exam room and Dr. Lowder came back to see me. I was running a fever but I hadn't started bleeding yet so he gave me a prescription for pain killers and told me to go home. The nurse all but pushed me out of the exam room. She kept hurrying me and telling me other patients needed the room. Apparently, my pain wasn't allowing me to get the hell out of her way fast enough. The following week, I called because weird and gross things started happening and no one had explained to me what to expect. It was 3p and both the doctor and nurse had gone home for the day. On a Wednesday. The girl at the desk said she would have them call me. No one has called me back yet and that was nearly 2 weeks ago. I would rather bleed to death from a miscarriage than ever enter the Women's Clinic or see Dr. Lowder or his nurse ever again. If he was the last OB on the planet and I was pregnant again, I would rather deliver my baby in the woods with the help of a pack of wild monkeys than let him anywhere near my lady parts. I would recommend to anyone considering the Women's Clinic, or Dr. Lowder specifically to find a new OB.

I was with Dr. Necole the first 7 months of my pregnancy. I am having twins. Her scheduling was always messed up. She never did follow ups after Antepartum stays in the hospital. Not to mention she was never ever there!!! Having twins is high risk and I needed a Doctor who was involved and who cared. One night I called to speak with an On Call Doctor and Necole was on. When she returned my call she had no clue who I was!!!!! Seriously??? 7 months and she was completely in the dark!! So at 32 weeks I changed my Doc to Dr. Matthew Renner!! And what a God send!! He has always been the on call doctor who returned my calls, he has seen me in Labor and Delivery and has twins of his own. After hearing everything we had gone through with Dr. Javernick-Hodges he without hesitation took us on as a patient. His nurse Katrina is AMAZING and caring, they answer your questions and take very good care of you. I dont know where we would be without Dr. Renner!! But my Husband and I will be eternally grateful for his kindness and dedication he has for his job. Thank you so much Dr. Renner and Katrina for being awesome. Also there are two women who work at the front desk, that work so damn hard to make sure we are squared away. They know our names when we come in. They joke around with you and always check on you. Its been a good experience over all. Its just sad that Necole is there to give them such a bad reputation. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, and should be treated as so. Some people only ever get one chance so it needs to be a good experience between patient and Doctor. The staff in Doctor Renners office made sure of that. Thank you!!

I love Dr. Renner and his nurse, Katrina. They are such sweet people with genuine concern for the wellbeing of their patients. They always address all of my physical and emotional needs, as well as any questions or concerns I may have. Dr. Renner delivered my now 18 month old daughter, and will deliver my baby due this Christmas, as well. I would 't go to anyone else!

I had Dr. Bryan Hodges for my last pregnancy and delivery and he was absolutely amazing. I had a terrible experience at a different place with my first child. Dr. Hodges spent extra time to make sure my nerves and worries were addressed and he was amazing during delivery. I would choose him as my Dr. again and again. Just an overall great person and doctor!

So far.. so good. My first appointment is next week. They called me today and got all of the paperwork done ahead of time. So I just have to go in and sign a paper conforming everything.!!!!

So far so good with Dr. Keating for prenatal care. Scheduling is always smooth and the nurses always call me back in a timely fashion.

I went to Dr Lowder at 12 weeks pregnant (after being at the fertility clinic for 5 years). Dr Lowder is a great OB. He has a great (but kind of dry) sense of humor. He thinks more along the "natural" lines of things as far as child birth (not wanting to induce early, trying labor before C-section). I am plus size and he never tried to label me high risk. (I wasn't either). He has been helping us try to conceive #2, but will only use clomid so we are returning to ICRM. He is popular so can be a wait to get into him. Billing wanted me to prepay for birth of my son, I paid $600 less than they wanted and still ended up overpaying them by $300, so be careful with the pre-pay on OB care.

Dr carlson and his nurse Stacy are the best! I have been going to them for 5 years. I trust their judgment and know they truly care about their patients. They are very informative and give clear options and instructions. I never feel like I'm not getting the best treatment. They are very personable and caring. They almost feel like family. I am so thankful for all they have done. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Working with Dr Keating has been a blessing through out my high risk pregnancy. She genuinely cares.

Got an assembly-line ultrasound here for my first prenatal visit of my first pregnancy. The nurse went through things with me so quickly that I literally did not have time to respond to questions. The information she provided was minimal and when discussing dietary restrictions for pregnant women, she literally just handed me a folder and said "you can just read this stuff." My doctor is fine, but overall, I do not think this place provides a high level of patient care. They treat you like a number instead of a patient. I am switching providers.

I was going to pass on giving a review, but then it was just 1 thing too many. The administration of this office is negligent and unsympathetic. I must have asked to see my doctor at least 4 times and every time they referred me to my doctors nurse who was never available to answer my questions and never gave me my results in a timely manner. My story follows: I found out I was pregnant in Urgent Care. I had been having increasing pain on my right side and at Urgent Care they did a pregnancy test that turned out to be positive. Because of the pain I was having they sent me to the ER to make sure I wasn't having an ectopic pregnancy. The ER ran tests and said I was very early and they needed to monitor the pregnancy with blood tests at my regular OB's. I had just moved to Boise so I had spent a lot of time researching when my husband and I decided to start trying and I decided to go with The Women's Clinic. The ER told me I needed 2 blood tests 24 and 48 hours apart. I had to call to schedule the first blood test, and they really seemed like they weren't in any rush, even though I wasn't getting blood draws for my own amusement, I was trying to see if I had a viable pregnancy. They got me in the next day and I did the blood test and asked when I could expect the results (This was Friday), they told me I had just missed the carrier and so I would have to wait till Saturday, which was when I was to come in for my second blood test. Saturday came and went, the lab was closed so I couldn't get my blood tested again. Sunday came and went. No results. I refreshed my patient portal every half hour all weekend long. So I spent the entire weekend a nervous wreck trying to see if this pregnancy was something I could be happy about or miserable and a result didn't come. I had to call Monday morning asking for them, they said they'd tell the nurse and have her call me. Nurse called me, my HGC levels had doubled, it was a healthy pregnancy as far as they could tell. We got my first ultrasound scheduled, I asked about the pain, and she said it could just be how my body is responding but to call if it gets worse or I start bleeding. 2 weeks later the pain was still there, I called, they said they'd give a message to the nurse, she called be back and told me not to worry. The next day I start to bleed. I call, they tell me to get another blood test to check my HGC levels. I asked when I could expect the results, (this is at 9:30am), they told me early this afternoon. I sit at home, bleeding and crying, and the first time I went pee and tissue passed out I knew what was happening. I called the office (this is now 1:30pm) and they check my levels which apparently they have now and tell me I'm having a miscarriage. This is my first pregnancy, this is my first miscarriage. The nurse started talking to me, telling me what to watch out for, as if I'm going to remember and then we end the call. I bleed and spot for a week with intermittent pain and I never received a follow-up call from the nurse and I have never once talked to my doctor in all this time. 4 weeks later. I get a call from an automated message letting me know about my first ultrasound appointment that is scheduled for Wednesday, when I try to call, it's after hours and I have the option of leaving a message. I'm leaving a review instead. You'd think that the office who told me I was miscarrying would have known to cancel the appointment since there's no baby now. I never once saw my doctor even though I requested an appointment to see her several times. I always got blocked by administration when trying to talk to a nurse, and the nurse or doctor never followed-up with me or checked in. I ALWAYS had to be the one initiating contact. I am so disappointed in the administration at this organization, it's almost beyond belief, and I'm going to call first thing tomorrow morning when they are open too and ask them how I'm supposed to have my first ultrasound when I no longer have a baby?

Dr. Chasin is such an amazing doctor, my first pregnancy was a surprise so needless to say I was nervous and didn't know what to expect but both Dr. Chasin and her nurse Katie were always open and willing to answer any questions that came up. They made my first experience so calm and relaxing that when I got pregnant a second time it wasn't an option to see another doctor.

Michelle Jones

They have helped me when I needed it. Fast and efficient with my visits. I would go back for sure

WARNING FOR SELF PAY CUSTOMERS!! If only I could give 0 stars. This place is a nightmare. I am a self pay client and I called in advance to find out the cost of services before making my decision of where to go for my exam. I was told there would be a pathology charge and an office charge. I paid the office charge of approximately $230 on the day of my visit. I paid for my pathology after they sent me my bill of approximately $180. Two weeks later I get a bill for $450 for a "facility" charge for labs...the same labs I paid for from pathology?! Nope another set of hidden charges that I now have to pay. Sounds a lot like fraud. If you are self pay DO NOT go here! A generic annual exam that should have cost $400 now cost almost $1,000.

Doctors are great! I see Dr Hodges Nicole but scheduling staff is horrible, they would cancel my appointments without notifying me, rude and not very polite.

Had appt at 9. Got there at 845. At after 10 I had to leave and still hadn't seen doctor after driving from Bellevue. They need to manage the off better.

Loved my doctor but the clinic is horrible. Dr Hodges delivered my second son on September 10. He was great and he made me feel very comfortable. However i called the clinic to schedule my 6 week post pregnancy check up and they receptionist said the next available time was December 11. Almost three and half after the birth of my child. The receptionist said that the appointmenta fill up quickly and i should of scheduled it right after birth. The clinic is more of a assembly line feel.

Don't ever try and get medical leave. They treat you bad like you're trying to cheat the system. Waste of time and effort. Go to a different facility! Dr Chason and her nurse Katie were awful to deal with. They made me feel bad because I needed some time off work due to stress and not being able to eat. It apparently wasn't a good enough reason to take time off work so I could focus on my health and my baby's health and nutrition. If I hadn't already invested so much time at this facility I would of just transfered elsewhere but I'm due in just a matter of weeks. If I still continue to get mistreated I will report this and have no choice but going to st als or just a different facility.

Lauren Blakely

I'm always nervous to meet and have a wellness appointment with a new Gyno. My last gyno I politely declined the appointment and actually left. This place is much more different. Its friendly, inviting, and professional. The ladies at the check in counter are polite and talkative. Very welcoming. My nurse, NP, and MA were outstanding .. I'm extremely happy I chose this place.

MANDALYNN HUGHES

The receptionist (Nicole) has poor customer service. I will never go there as a patient nor will I ever recommend going there.

I've heard great things about this place, but that's not my experience! My insurance is Medicaid, so they won't let me see an actual doctor. I hadn't had a pelvic exam for atleast 8 years. Two years ago my ovary burst because of a big cyst in there. They (St. Al's) did blood work and found out that I'm, "off the charts, post-menopausal". They gave me instructions to take birth control pills as hormone replacement. I literally almost died from blood clots (pulmonary embulos) and lung collapse, as a result from being allergic to estrogen. I've been sick for two years from that stuff. I moved to St. Luke's to get better care. Haha, that didn't happen! I'm 40 years old. I made the appointment with the women's clinic to get help with my severe menopausal symptoms and to get a pap and pelvic exam. I thought they would care and be sympathetic towards me and my WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES! I saw Stacy A Cooper, physician's assistant. She read a few notes on her computer and looked at me with a mean face and voice, and said, "Why are you here?". I felt as if she was accusing me of something. I was already nervous about meeting this new person who would be all up in my privates. Stacy Cooper made me feel horrible. She had a very mean vibe toward me. I felt like she hated me. When she examined my breasts, she opened the gown completely and let my breasts be completely exposed. I had just told her that my big breasts embarrass me and I felt my face turn red. I had forgot to remove my underwear and she told me they were still on. SHE ACTED EMBARRASSED ABOUT MY UNDERWEAR BEING ON. It was so weird. (Obviously, I was having subconscious issues.) She gave me a quick exam. She pretended to give some advice about my horrible menopause- she was just parroting what a different doctor had said, she didn't even look at me while she talked. She was radiating anger. Then she left the room and no one came in to give me an "After Visit Summary" or anything. I let myself out alone- and I didn't schedule another appointment. To be honest, I felt like I had just been sexually assaulted. I couldn't help it, she was rude, hateful and so fast and then left me alone. It was a bad, bad deal. I take it personally. I did nothing to Stacy Cooper. I was clean. She embarrassed me so much, I don't know if I'll ever be able to have a pelvic exam again. St. Luke's should offer better care for women. This is ridiculous and hurtful.
