Got a cochlear implant. This office and the Nampa office have been great to work with. They are real people unlike many other medical people. A pleasure to be around. Further service after the procedure has been terrific. Again unlike other medical people. The medical expertise shown by their doctors have been right on target. So good support, good staff and knowledgeable doctors I could not ask for more.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rustad for correction of an old injury (deviated septum) as well as a new one, a broken nose. Quality of care has been excellent, and the staff is very professional and friendly. Wait times for appointments are consistently very short, on the order of 5-10 minutes at worst. Doctor Rustad is very approachable and easy to talk to.

Liana Martinez

Dr. Van de Graaf treated my daughter when she needed ear tubes at 1 year old. He was very polite and courteous, and took time to answer all of our questions. We go for follow up every 6 months, and still receive the same courtesy every time. The front desk staff are polite and helpful, and wait times have never been more than 15 minutes for us. Very glad our pediatrician recommended this clinic!

I saw Dr Schwarz for an oral cancer diagnosis (squamous cell carcinoma on my tongue). I was very pleased with the speed and quality of my care. Dr Schwarz is extremely gifted/diligent and paid close attention during my surgery to ensure he got everything that needed to be removed while preserving as much of my tongue and surrounding nerves as possible. I would highly recommend Dr Schwarz for any ENT surgical procedure.

Sara Reiter

I base this rating on the interaction with the staff alone. I made 3 calls to the center, to ask questions, schedule a consult and inquire on the Physician's surgery schedule. The receptionists were dismissive, discourteous, and rude. They had no compassion for the situation, and were clearly put out by my insistence on scheduling a hearing test with the consult, and inquiries pertaining to what day the Physician performs surgery. I work in the Medical field, and for a similar specialty. This is totally unacceptable.

Kim Trinh

I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and kind, I adore everyone here. Yes the reception staff seems a bit clogged, but keep in mind, they are so busy, can someone else think of a more streamlined system as to how they can manage their customer/ patients? In my exhausted mom state I know I am forgetting some names, but Bettina and (another kind nurse that was very attentive to my youngest, I think her name starts with a D, I'm so sorry) were so kind and sweet. Come here, your children will be well looked out for.

Dr Van de Graaff went above and beyond with my BAHA surgery. He and his staff made the whole experience great and it's pretty awesome that I can now hear. Thank you.

The worse doctor and doctor's assitance I ever met. The nurse came out take me to the room instead of he call my name, he used his finger he point his finger at me to tell me coming ( 2nd finger). Doctor Douthit kept talk over me and creaming at me when I try to explain my problems. He's the most ediot and rude doctor I ever seen. I seem him twice and each everytime he Talk to me less than 4 minutes. Wast my time and my money for nothing.

Brad Davies

It's no less than herding cattle thru a process. Went in with a sinus infection. Dr Rustand was with me 90 seconds or less. Gave me two prescriptions that did not clear up the problem. I called back and then they sent me to a hearing booth owned by the Doctors of Southwest ENT. $348.00 and no word from them. I went to a St. Lukes urgent within 3 days of my visit with Southwest ENT and they were great started me on a different prescription and within 2 days I could start to feel improvement. ENT does not care about you a as a suffering patent rather a cash cow for your insurance company money and your out of pocket fees. Stay clear if you want the health care you deserve. Minus one star.

Run do not walk away from this office. They are nice until you have the surgery. Following surgery they will not treat your pain. They suggest you go to the er instead of treating you. While in the office with my daughter 1 week after surgery they couldn't be bothered to have someone even look in her mouth to make sure she was healing well. The nurse just told us that a someone in the office was given fentanyl patches for her pain while patients are not given anything stronger. Just made to suffer. Find anyone other than this office to treat you if you care about professional care.

Had surgery and singles in my ears several years ago, all was good with Doctor Maughn. Then a little over a year ago, I lost some of my hearing and my ears would not stay popped. The Doctor I was referred to simply looked in my ears and said it looked like I might have issues, but he couldn't help me unless I scheduled to make an appt with hearing test, ect.... The Doctor had very poor manors and acted like I was an idiot. When I left, I was very unhappy, paid my deductable and left. Then I was sent a bill for 2.10, I wrote and indicated what poor service I received and that I was and hadn't worked for over a year and was about to loose our home. They did not get the message and billed me for that two dollars and 10 cents for 4 months, even sent me a threating letter they were going to send me to a collection agency. Never again Southwest.

This office was horrible in every sense and I will never return and cannot recommend anyone else seek care here. I ended up needing a tonsillectomy. Dr. Rustad never explained anything about the surgery, how it was done, what it entailed or what to expect afterward. The only thing his office told me was that I'd be in a lot of pain, they'd prescribe medications for it and I could essentially bleed to death. They scared me so much about the bleeding risk that I made my husband stay home with me for the entire 2 week recovery time. It was literally the only thing the doctor himself discussed with me about the surgery. They rescheduled my surgery without telling me, I only found out because the hospital mentioned it to me when they called me for my medical history. Dr. Rustad was very confusing the day of the surgery, he confused both me and my husband. I'm a well educated person and he rambled so much it was hard to follow what he was saying. He didn't sign my prescriptions and I had to spend and extra hour in the hospital when I could have been on my way home. His office blew me off every time I called with concerns. At one point their after hours on call provider literally yelled at me on the phone, "What do you need?" when I called because one side of my face was red and hot. I ended up seeing my primary care provider a week later because something didn't feel right. She told me I had an infection and confirmed this with culture results later. When I informed Dr. Rustad he told me there was no way and that ENT's see no benefit in prescribing antibiotics after a tonsillectomy. He discounted everything my PCP told me even after I told him what she reported to me about my test results. You cannot schedule with them in a timely manner. He did try to call and make it right but instead gave me excuses about why they won't change anything they do. The doctors are rude, the nurses are rude, the front desk staff is rude. I literally have nothing good to say about them.

Expect to be hung up on. Lied to. Missed diagnosis. Tears of frustration. Like your health does not matter.

So far we have waited NO LESS then 20 min per visit in the waiting room just be called. That is 20 min after our scheduled appointment time and we arrived 15 min early with my little one. We walked out of the last appointment and we decided to try it again only to be left sitting in the waiting room AGAIN. The staff is incredibly rude when asked what happened they said " we don't know what our physicians come in and when they do rounds first". So you have no idea what your providers schedule is yet you schedule patients!!! Get real, the staff always looks shocked when you say you have been waiting. How do you not know what's happening in to the waiting room with so many employees coming and going? If more attention and respect to people's time was given this may not be such a terrible exleriance. The staff is nice but clearly oblivious.

Andy Lynes

No respect for patients here. Appointments are routinely over an hour late. No one returns your phone calls. Surgery time was moved without my notice twice (7am surgery was rescheduled to another day without my notice!) There is no demonstrable communication between the office staff and the doctors. Chronic problems scheduling appointments, getting seen, having surgery, and getting follow up care. IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE, I RECOMMEND YOU TAKE IT.

shannon harris

Dr Killian rocks!!! Never in a hurry and he allowed me to breathe again. Best experience in a doctors office I’ve ever had.

Brittney Peppel

I cannot get a hold of these guys to even make an appointment! I've tried calling three separate days, over 10+ times, I can not get anybody from scheduling to pick up .I have a very crazy and tight schedule and the one time that they did call back, I was unable to answer .As a patient who needs their anxieties reassured and answers to what's going on, the scheduling department doesn't even allow that to happen. I have no option but to keep on trying, but I would not recommend this place if you want to be seen at a reasonable time . If they don't even have time to pick up a phone, that doesn't make me feel like they care about my health.

Deana Wagner

This office runs clients through like cattle. They had me go for a "CT scan" in their office and did not disclose they were not capable of performing a full scan and that it was sinus only. When they didn't see anything on their scan, they then sent me to the hospital for a full scan. Had I been told it was not a full scan up front, I would have chosen to have just the full scan at the hospital. I was charged for two separate scans for the same condition. Then, it took a week of me calling before they responded with my results and promptly dismissed me telling me I was out of luck with them. I filed a BBB complaint to which they never responded. Horrible office. Do not go there!

Rhonda hull

Dr Van de Graaff removed a dog hair from my ear. It was laying on my ear drum making a horrible sound. He explained exactly what he was doing. It was quick and painless. He made sure I stood up and didn't feel dizzy before leaving. Great job!!

Tim Collins

Not impressed at all. The office staff directed me to the wrong location. The hearing tests and physicians are two different floors. And they don't communicate well with each other. Waited 20 minutes for a hearing test to be performed. The technician was great, I think her name was Kay. Then I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time in order to see the PA. He was obnoxious and was in the room for a total of 2 minutes. How can you run 45 minutes behind when you see patients for only 2 minutes?! He didn't listen to anything that what I was trying to tell him, didn't offer any useful suggestions and was basically useless. The best part of the experience, however, was that the billing department actually sent me a bill before my insurance even processed their claim! According to the bill they submitted to my insurance I saw an audiologist, apparently, but the funny thing is I never spoke to one or had one speak to me. I saw the technician who did the hearing test and the PA but I get a bill from someone that I didn't even speak to? That's impressive. The office staff tried to get me to pay for the treatment up front even though I tried to explain to her that I had no copay since I had already met my insurance deductible for the year. My insurance says that I have no payment liability, but SWIdaho ENT billing department thinks I owe them money. Needless to say, I will never be going back.

Todd Rodgers

Dr. Rustad and his staff are awesome. They are professional and extremely thorough in their clinical plan with their patients.

Devry Richins

I had a great experience with southwest ENT. I didn’t have to wait at my appointment, everyone was professional and kind. My tonsillectomy surgery went smoothly and the staff took such good care of me. I would use them again!

Erica Floyd

Had tonsils removed by Dr Killian. He and his staff were punctual, professional, and extremely pleasant. They answered all of my questions and had me in and out in no time.

Darrin Pampaian

Dr. Rustad did incredible work to remove my melanoma and I am forever in his debt.

Marlene Weis

I believe Dr. Garner completely botched my sinus surgery. After 2.5 years my nose is still totally numb. The right side of my face droops compared to the left and I can now blow bubbles out my right eye. I would not recommend letting this guy touch your face.

Randal W

I have mixed emotions about Dr. Van De graff. He seemed to have done a good job diagnosing my wife's problem and did a surgery (that is always the answer). The recovery was a lot worse than expected though. The real beef I have with him and SWENT is the billing. Before the surgery they called our insurance to get the amount that we had to reach to meet our maximum out-of pocket annual deductible and then they pre-billed us the exact amount that it would take to reach our out-of-pocket maximum for the year. Of course we had to pay it before they would do the surgery. This ended up being almost twice what the real billing amount was that was approved by the insurance a month latter. It took over 2 months and several calls before they refunded our over-payment. The doctors at SWENT expect the patients who make A LOT less than they do to carry their outstanding amounts due. This is highly unethical and maybe even illegal.

Jeff Solich

Ray Moss

All the staff were very helpful, and very friendly. Went above and beyond my expectations and I'd recommend them for anybody who is interested in visiting them

BIGFOOT WHISPERER'S HUB

Dr Rustad has excellent care and expertise for his patients. He performed a surgery on me with great results. He really cares about his patients.Along with his nurses.

Miranda Griffith

They dont even deserve one star. By far my worst experience with a dr. The wrote my info down wrong and didnt asses my problem and he yelled at me and jumped to a conclusion that wont even help me .

Breanna Byrd

I wish I could rate less than a 1 but that is not an option. First, I was told that my 9 months of on-going issues were an issue that a lot of people deal with and he couldn't help me. Second, I requested a CT scan and they called me back saying it was fine - which in fact ended up to show what my issue was. Third, once I went to the Sinus Center and they wanted to review my CT scan from SW ENT, they wouldn't send the copy of the scan to save their lives. A request was sent to them twice, the doctor's office called twice, and I called them twice. Not sure what the issue is there or if they all just don't care but either way - it's unacceptable the way they treat their patients. Will NEVER go back and will be sure to let everyone know what an awful place it is.

Ashley Perkins

I've seen Dr. Killian for about 6 years now and I absolutely love him and the assistants. He seems very knowledgeable about my rare disease so it makes me feel at ease. I definitely would recommend him.

Lynne Ekstrom

Dr. Spencer Cheshire is so personable and has been extremely helpful with my Mom’s new hearing aids. He always has time for questions and encourages her to call or visit the office if need be. When he presented the options of what my Mom might need, he directed us to what would be the best for her. I highly recommend Southwest Idaho ENT to anyone who needs these services!

Kelli Buley

I would not recommend this place to anyone. When we arrived for an initial consult, we waited for nearly an hour before being seen. When we were seen they didn't even know they were seeing a child despite the paperwork. They had none of his records and had no idea why we were there, again despite the paper work. My son needed tubes put in his ears and on the day they made us feel like we could not have been any more than a number to them. I asked the surgeon (Dr. Jones) if there were any after or side effects we should be worried about or on the look out for and he stared at me like I was stupid, shook his head and walked away. After the surgery my son woke up crying (very common ) but also vomited, instead of any concern or reassurance by the nurse who was with us, she just stands there shakes her head and says, "great just how I wanted to start my day" with absolutely no concern for my infant son. Then the surgeon comes back over and starts telling my husband to put drops in my sons ears with instructions conflicting with the written instructions the nurse had given us in addition to it being a completely different medication. My husband questioned it and the doctor again stares at us as though we are stupid, laughs and says, "I don't know what the sheet says and I don't care. Do what I'm telling you. Anything else? No? Good" and leaves. My husband and I were both shocked by his rude and abrupt reaction to our question. Within minutes the nurse came to us and with my son still crying says unless we need something else she will walk us to the elevator now. I could not believe the complete and utter disdain this office showed for us and our infant son. I would never again go here and I would never recommend it to anyone. I have told my pediatricians office and recommended they don't send others there.

Jimmy Wade

I have had sinus issues for years, I kept putting it off due to kids braces and such. It finally got to be too much, Dr Killian and staff were great through the entire process explaining procedure, cost, treatment and post op procedures and maintenance, I'd highly recommend them to anyone having sinus issues!

Rob Libby

Horrible. No communication among staff and serious integrity problems. After a rushed initial visit they said they would need to do referral to a specialist. Did not provide referral upon checkout. I had to try to followup and spent a week trying to get a live person on the phone. When I finally reached someone I was told a 10 minute elaborate story about how my pre-authorization was denied and that the reason it took so long was that it would cost thousands of dollars in out of pocket fees if I didnt wait?? Said they would resubmit for a 'lessor' procedure? Waited 3 days and I never got the referral to a specialist or a call back. I called my insurance and discovered they NEVER even submitted a pre-authorization in the first place?? DO not trust your healthcare to this provider.

Fight4Sanity .

They seem to be having issues getting approved by Tricare as a network provider so they told my daughter that there was "nothing elsr that they could do for her". Then when I called them back they tried to tell me that is not what they said... I was conferenced in on the original call but my line was muted and I heard them tell her that. I was stunned at the lack of professionalism that this demonstrates. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.

meralis saenz

I am glad that I kept my appointment regardless of the poor Google reviews. They were very prompt to see me, very polite, and the doctor listened to my concerns and answered my questions.

Dion Sosa

SWIENT helped to diagnose what my dermatologist could not so two thumbs up from me;)

Richard DeLuca

Dr. Peter Killian ia a clinician that is driven by a passion for patient care. His ability to connect with the patient and family made my surgical experience a positive one.Thank you Dr. Killian and staff for improving my quality of life.

Rhonda Bequeath

Dr. Killian is amazing very easy to understand and very personable

Rob Holderness

Very disappointed in their customer service and billing practices. Won't be going back unless I have to.

Chantel Wiles

I waited 45 minutes for my first appointment with Dr. Shawrz. They seem to not be in any hurry to get patients seen because I was one of many waiting over 30 minutes. The receptionist also told me that I should I plan on at least a 30-45 minute wait with my appointments. Well, I really don't think that is OK but at least they told me they are constantly behind so I know in the future and can let work know etc. I would probably not bring my daughter here should she need anything because of the wait time. There were poor stressed moms sitting an hour to see the doctor with a toddler. The actual appointment was about 10-15 minutes. The doctor didn't really have any extra information but I felt he was knowledgeable and he did order some testing. I was told the that the lab order would be sent over that day and I would receive a call from the nurse the same day when she sent it in. Well I never received a call from the nurse. Both times I have called for help the office has not been able to tell me if they sent it or what is going....just that I should basically wait and see what happens which I do not think is appropriate advice. They should be handling it. I think it is important if you are going to tell a patient an order will be sent at said time that it will be sent. Also it should be properly documented so that all staff knows what is going on.

Brodie O'Brien

We visit Dr Schwartz every time at this office. He is a wonderful doctor however when you make an appointment to see him he nor his staff are EVER on time! We have made appointments months in advance, some first thing in the morning and some in the afternoon. It doesn't matter the entire office is over booked, understaffed and always ALWAYS running behind. We have asked when a good time to visit the office would be to be more on time and the answer we received was that "they always have emergency's so we see the dr. when we can." All well and fine however if I need to clear and entire day for a doctor appointment with this office because they are running 1-2 hrs behind(and they always are) then they should say something in advance.

Jim Howell

Dr. Killian, was/is great in communication what my condition and was very caring and provided excellent (and appropriate) care. Strong recommend!

The ENT part of the clinic is ok. It is very very hard to get an apt. My wife who has a profound hearing loss, and a hx of ear infections, had a horrible fungal ear infection and was calling to be seen. She had to wait 2 weeks before she could be seen, risking more hearing loss, and being in severe pain. The audiology part of the clinic is HORRIBLE. The Manager Spencer Chestire is about as rude as they come. He is seldom on time, acts like he hates his job and doesn't want to be there, and is annoyed if you question him on anything. Even his own staff talks badly about him. We just refuse to schedule anything with him. The final straw was when we had a pair of hearing aids remade for my wife. The left one has never worked correctly. When we had them redone, Spencer told us that it was like a brand new hearing aid, and all repairs would be covered now. So back and forth we went trying to get them to work right. We finally had to send it off. It came back and they tried to stick us with a $286 charge, and THE HEARING AID STILL DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY! We complained and told them we were told all repairs were covered. They insisted we still had to pay. They said it was in our contract. What contract???? We never signed a contract. I was told they would talk to Spencer, and get back to us. We called and scheduled another apt. as the hearing aid continues to not be functioning. Two weeks ago Wednesday Spencer called my wife and told her they were cancelling her apt. and discontinuing care. he refused to give her a reason and said she would be receiving a letter. When she mentioned that she has now paid almost $800 and the hearing aid never worked right, she was informed she would be receiving a full refund. Two weeks have passed, numerous phone calls, no letter, no refund, and no one knows anything about it. Yet, her care has been discontinued. We have since found an amazing audiology clinic close to our home, with an in house technician, that saw her on the same day she called for an apt.

More than twice I've waited either all day or more than one day for a return call simply to schedule a appointment. Any business with that many people in front of phones that won't answer when a call comes has a problem and it reflects on their attitude toward service, their commitment to duty and more. They lost my business because of this despite having good doctors.

Melissa Misailidis

Dr van De Graaff was really nice. He took his time to diagnose me and discuss treatment options. Asked if I had any questions. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Erik S

Tom is great. I first saw him when he was in Nampa and when I recently needed ENT services I tracked him down.

They needed a big deposit before they would do my surgery for cancer, which means they were happy to let me keep it if I couldn't pay them. After the deposit I wasn't able to pay them the thousands billed to me right away. I had about a dozen doctors because I was very ill. I owed money to them ALL. The payment collector from this place called me a terrible person because I was 'unwilling' to pay the doctor who 'helped me.' She said I should feel bad because he wasn't getting paid for his work because of me. They didn't want to work with me on payments and were quick to sue me when I didn't fork out the money fast enough. Now I banned from their office, and so is *everyone from my immediate family*. It's been several years and their actions are still on my credit report, even though I was able to eventually pay it off.

Katherine Robinson

These people will waste your time, making you calling back over and over when you try to make an appointment. They say they will call back and don't. I wouldn't trust them with your health if they have no respect for you or your time. They also switch doctors on you.

Sara Tatom

My family has been seeing Dr Schwarz for over 20 years. We have always appreciated being treated like a person and not just a patient.

Liban Mohammed

Treva Keeton

The staff were nice, but the way the schedule surgeries is horrible and extremely inconvenient for the patient. They scheduled me for a certain day, but refuse to tell me a time until the day before. They said it is because they have people cancel, but what does that have to do with me? I have only 1 person I can rely on to transport me to/from the surgery IF I let him know far enough in advance and this makes it impossible to find a ride because there isn't enough time. Plus, I am a single parent of a school-aged child and I don't know if I will need to find a babysitter or not because they wont tell me a time! I explained all of this to whomever answered the phone when I called and she could care less. Very inconsiderate and i will look for another place to get my surgery done.

Hope H

I waited a long time for my appointment. Arranged for time off work. Arrived early, 12:20 for my, 1:00 appointment, with all my paperwork completed. While sitting in the waiting room I was scolded by business office staff person because my doctor didn't handle referral correctly and they would only see me if I signed a form agreeing to be seen out of network.Which I did.I saw the audiologist and was in the waiting room before 1 for my 1 o'clock appointment. At 1:40 I checked with front desk to find out how much longer. I was rudely told "I'm sure they know you're here. 10 more minutes and I told them I couldn' wait any longer and I would have to leave. I was treated rudely. I did not reschedule and will not go back. PS. On the way home, I got a call from my doctor's office and SWIENT was wrong about my referral. I'm missing money, time off work and paying hundreds of dollars for "insurance" then hundreds out of pocket to be treated like a number. If I was anywhere else paying 350 for 15 minutes of someone's time I would expect some level of service. We don't have health care anymore. We have a bizarre insurance game and it sucks.

Kristi Colbert

horrible customer service. It took 5 times of calling before they sent me to the right person to get an appointment. Then I needed a simple question answered and it took another 4 calls for my question to be answered. Dr. Van De Graaff took my sons adnodes out and 1 yr later we are learning that he should have taken the tonsils out also. I even begged Dr. Van De Graaff to take out tonsils and he just keep telling me it wasn’t needed. Now I get to pay a second time and my son has to go under anesthesia again.

Don Petersen

Dr. Killian is the best. Takes time to listen and evaluate and take the proper corrective action. He really cares and is compassionate about how you feel. He is not only brilliant but very dedicated to his specialty. I have complete confidence.

Dan Henderson

I waited 2 months to get an appointment, all the while with ear and jaw pain. I sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes, and then was taken into a room where I spoke with a staff/nurse. The doctor came in and looked into my ears and said I didn't have any fluid in them. He spent a total of 3 minutes with me. The office is simply pumping people through.

Lindsey Welfley

Fantastic doctors & fantastic service! I am completely baffled at why there are so many bad reviews here. My experience with Dr. Van De Graaff, Piper, and the rest of their team was incredible! Van De Graaff successfully performed a procedure that I was told by other doctors could not be done by anyone in this state. After living with a massive hole in my right eardrum for half of my life, I cannot express how grateful I was to hear that the surgery worked and everything is healed up perfectly at my final post-op appointment. I have not been swimming for almost 12 years - every time I'd consider floating the river or going tubing I'd be "that person" staunchly saying 'no,' simply because of the anxiety & fear that I'd fall into the water, get water in my ear, and suffer the serious pain that came with that. I can now, (finally!), go swimming, enjoy summer water sports, float the river, and even just shower/wash my hair like a normal person without that constant fear. As some of the negative reviews mentioned, we did have some longer wait times at a couple appointments, and sure, that was a little annoying. But that in NO WAY negates or overshadows how happy we are with Dr. Van De Graaff and his team. Piper (and a couple other nurses) graciously put up with my endless phone calls with questions about post-op care, healing, whether something was "normal," etc. They answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the entire process, both pre- and post-operation. I could not be more excited & grateful that we chose this place. We would recommend Van De Graaff to anyone.

Diana Pietri-Coimbre

My experience in Southwest Idaho ENT was pretty good. In general, they seem to be good people, willing to serve, but not all of them look happy, specially at the front desk.. Tom Douthit, the physician assistant, is awesome.

Mike Eaton

Dr Killian and his staff are excellent. His bedside manner is unbeatable. Although I'm sure he is always busy, he never makes me feel rushed. He is superb at explaining medical conditions and outlining different treatment options. Excellent experience during a trying time.

Cassie Schnell

My 7 year old daughter had her tonsils out with Dr Van De Graaf. He is an excellent surgeon and I appreciate that great care he took of my daughter. His nurse Piper is amazing and happily answered all my numerous questions.

Ysabel Nash

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews because I had an AWESOME experience with all the staff that worked with me. Dr. Garner was very informative throughout the whole appointment and went over all the information I needed prior to going into surgery. Keep in mind that I was going to be getting a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy as an adult so they definitely prepared me with all the risks and warned me about the nasty recovery. All my nurses were fantastic and made sure I was completely ready before leaving the surgery center after my procedure. My recovery nurse (wish I could remember her name, but anesthesia is rough) was very attentive to my needs and made sure I was confortable. I even got an extra warm blanket in the recovery area because I was so cold! I had tons of questions regarding billing and signing up for a new credit line to cover my costs. I spoke with several different people in the office just to make sure I was getting all the right information and I came out with a clear understanding of my financial options. They even called me to follow up and ensure I didn’t have any new questions. Everyone heals differently and not every outcome can be predicted as there are risks to any surgery so I don’t understand the need for someone to write a bad review when things don’t go the perfectly unless someone was purposefully neglectful. Writing a bad review because you can’t afford a surgery isn’t the doctors fault. It’s the country’s healthcare system and inflation that is to blame. Unfortunately, most people who have good experiences don’t feel the need to write reviews and most of the time people who have negative feelings want to blast it all on the internet. That’s really what prompted me to write this review since my entire experience is completely the opposite. Overall I had an EXCELLENT experience and was impressed with their superior customer service. I would absolutely recommend SW Idaho Ear, Nose, & Throat!

I was just there and left due to how unprofessional the place is. I scheduled my appointment before Christmas. I did everything they asked me to do. 1.) Downloaded papers and filled out everything 2.) Arrived 25 min early 3.) Had all insurance info My appointment was scheduled for 10:45am. Several people came in after me but were seen before me. I can handle that, but at 11:18am, still not seen or communicated with about the long delay.I went to the front desk and they truly did not care. I left and will find a different doctor. They obviously do not care about people's time, money or their quality of service. I will find a doctor and staff that care about their people.

Dr. Rustad and his nurses have been great. Dr. Rustad is very personable and answered all of my questions in terms that were easy to understand without talking down to me. His approach to treatment has been conservative, with surgery being the last resort. The CT tech was outstanding and put me right at ease. I found the front office staff to be a little cool in the beginning, but after joking around with them a little bit, they warmed right up to me. I usually contact the practice through the patient portal, and receive answers to my questions almost immediately. It's much more convenient for everyone rather than calling and waiting around for a return phone call.

Rude receptionists - If you are unable to hear them, god forbid they have to repeat themselves... uh hello, you work around people with hearing loss and more. EAR, nose and throat. Idiots. Extremely apathetic PA's. Was told there is nothing they can do for my tinnitus and hyperacusis and referred me back to my PCP. No emotion, no empathy... the one typing on the computer seemed annoyed to even be there. The conditions I have drive many people to suicide and to be honest I don't even know how much longer I can live with this. I highly recommend all employees go through sensitivity training. Buzzfeed has a great article on Hyperacusis, I recommend staff read it as well to further educate themselves. This way they realize how serious this condition is. Dr. Van De Graaf however is nice and seems to empathize. Doesn't seem to have much time to spend with patients though.

Had an appointment today... (for note I am a ICU RN with 10+ years of experiance and a masters degree). I had an absolute terrible experiance. From the start the (what I assume) MA wore no identification, did not introduce herself and wore street cloths, showed nothing but contempt. She commanded ( one close to politely asking) me to go and do things. She scoffed at the terminology I used (again I'm am RN) and made me explain how my appointment was necessary... 20 min later the PA came in spent (no exageration) 20 seconds examining me. I was seeing him about airway issues. He proceeded to tell me that my concerns were irrational, surgery is painful, expensive, I'd miss work and it's not always effective so doesn't recommend it... and that was it. Total $50 copay up front no more than 5 min provider interaction time with no actual care/knowledge gained. I could not recommend it less.... As a healthcare professional in the Boise area I'm sad this is the level of care patients experiance every day...

I have been putting off seeing a sinus specialist for some time now, due to being a single mother of 3...the dr and nurse never told me they would be charging 700$ for looking up my nose with their camera. They simply told me they were going to. This is unacceptable and I hope they make changes. This is highway robbery, as far as I'm concerned!!!

Pleasant but I don’t think they listened to me. I went in for ear and teeth pain, and when a scan did not show anything, that was it for those symptoms. I had a headache, so they referred me to a neurologist and PT.... but what about the ear and teeth?

If you want a face lift, go to a real plastic surgeon. Don't go to Dr Garner.
