He recognizes that everybody parents differently and I feel like he does a really good job of laying out the scientific facts so that parents can competently make some of those decisions themselves. His laid-back easy-going personality is such a relief for me as a first-time mom without a clue as to what I'm doing. Ada Pediatrics is really good about getting back to you after hours and working your little ones in if needed. The staff is so nice and caring and you can tell they enjoy their jobs.

We’ve been going to Dr Ryan Lindsay for about 9 months and are very happy. We’ve felt very taken care of for our normal check ups, sick checks (we’ve called and gotten same day appointments when we were worried about a sick baby multiple times), and the after hours call backs exceeded our expectations (quick call back when we needed some input, but the office was closed).

Went in for a PICU test, which I verified was covered by insurance, only to discover we had been charged $100+ for an office visit. They noted that it was for 'feeding issues'. We had no feeding issues, we didn't even ask any questions as everything was going great (this is my 3rd child). Went back and forth with their office and insurance to find out that they made this into an office visit because they weighed and measured him- unprompted by me. I could understand if I had concerns of any kind, but I didn't. Never knew we would be charged for weighing the baby. Working with insurance to explore my options regarding what I feel is a scam. Go over your bills with a fine toothed comb, folks.

It makes it really difficult to get things done when this office closes whenever it feels like it on any given day. According to their answering service, it's anywhere from 3:30 to 5:30, so heaven forbid you need to follow up on a referral, need a prescription refilled, need to schedule an appointment, need to ask a question about a recent visit, handle a billing issue or update medical records. Apparently this office's business day is about as long as the children it serves, so that they can get home early for a juice box and a nap.

Ada Pediatrics is so wonderful! My daughter is a frequent flier here & I can always get an answer on the phone right away without waiting for hours on a return phone call. I can also get an appointment right away, not having to wait for days. The staff is so wonderfully helpful even when I had to use the late night phone number to speak with Dr. Ryan. I highly suggest the Ada Pediatrics for the personal care needs for your children!

I have taken my baby and preschooler to Dr. Ryan for over a year now, and it is as good of an experience I think anyone can have at a doctor's office. Nurses and staff are compassionate and professional, and seeing Dr. Ryan interact with my kids is magical. He's a wizard. Who doesn't want their kids' health managed by a wizard? I've had 3am phone calls when my baby was having problems and have always gotten the right information and referrals from him when needed. No complaints; I only wish their office was located closer to me.

My twins have been at this clinic for 15 months. Today I was treated horribly after asking questions and expressing my concerns about a nurse who provided inadequate care. I was told by Dr. Ryan that I couldn’t express concerns about this nurse and if I were going to continue my kids treatment I would have to use this nurse(He actually never even asked me what my concerns were), When I started to ask questions about vaccinations because my son had a reaction to one of them he said if I didn’t agree with his treatment plan I could find a new doctor. In my 15 years working in health care I was totally appalled at the patient rights that were violated including informed consent, and abandonment of patients. They also inaccurately documented in my kids medical records (Dr. Ryan said I am looking for a new doctor because I don’t want to vaccinate which is incorrect.)Of course I’ll look for a new doctor for my kids, but honestly think twice before using this clinic.

This will be a rather long review. Firstly, I want to state that Dr. Ryan was absolutely wonderful. I adored the care we received from him as an individual for my 10-month-old daughter. As first-time parents, he was always reassuring, kind, and I never once felt rushed during our encounters. The front desk staff and nurses were always kind too. We had a few issues arise with scheduling where we were randomly scheduled TWICE for visits that even the front office staff was not aware of why we were scheduled, which became an issue as we live quite far. After a few issues with scheduling and not being able to access her prescriptions in a timely manner (multiple times). My husband and I felt that it was best to seek other, more reliable care. It was difficult as we LOVE Dr. Ryan. Once we gave notice, we were contacted by the practice manager. We thought this would be an opportunity to voice our concerns in the hopes that it would not happen to other parents. We were even in hopes that we would be able to come back Ada County Pediatrics with all issues resolved. We could not have been more wrong. The practice manager was the rudest person I have ever had the misfortune of speaking with. I cited every incident that occurred that led to our decision to leave and instead of apologizing for my child's care or lack thereof, she proceeded to be just short of argumentative, telling that they do not just schedule appts, that I must have forgotten. When in fact, that is exactly what happened (when confronted about the mishap at the time of, the front office apologized with sincerity). The PM tone was dry, cold and excessively defensive. She spoke to me as if I were at fault and that my attempt at correction was massively impeding on her day. As a parent and a professional in client-medical care, I could care less about the excuses that were made, I should have been assured that all efforts were going into correcting the issues and that there were would be no further concerns, rather than being told I am wrong and that their new program could have been the cause of the issues. I really can not reiterate how baffled I was that this woman had the audacity to insult my intelligence and disregard the care for a baby by telling me that every valid concern I had was essentially made up. This compassionless woman should not be in any form of authority to care for the health of babies. Needless to say, after the phone call, we decided against returning. If excuses will be made for lower priority issues, I will not allow for the opportunity for there to a more serious level of concern that is neglected. This is the health and safety of an innocent baby that I trusted a to professional. One whose primary role is to care for the welfare of children and babies. A parent should be able to trust that their child's care is met with action, completion and full attention. I will be following up with a formal complaint to the Idaho Board of Medicine and the AMA.

When my husband passed away, they took the time to send a card signed by each and every one of them. Again, so thankful for the knowledge and kindness in this practice.

We were unexpected foster parents and Dr. Lindsay was honest and caring. When we found out our son had a rare disease that was a tough one, he led us to where we needed to go and always cared. In the meantime we were lucky enough to have another child. No doubt who we wanted as our pediatrician, then recommended him to our famaily.

Dr. Ryan is hands down the best pediatric doctor in Southern Idaho. I have been taking my daughter here since she was 2, shes now 8 and she LOVES her doctor which is very important to me. I'll never forget her first appointment Dr. Ryan came in with clown shoes on and he focused on her. He said hello to me after he said hello to my daughter. She hated doctors at that age and he got down to her level and introduced himself and made her smile. He always listens to my concerns and gives real advice without judgement. We were unsure about vaccinations and he educated me on the vital shots that she needed and gave us time to consider the others he puts your child first. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
