Thanks to Dr. Whitaker I can finally sleep without the constant neck pain and having to re-adjust every 5 minutes!! He's funny, personable, and took the time to answer all my questions. The staff is very friendly and won't treat you like a patient!! Can't find that anywhere anymore.

I have suffered from headaches and migraines for years. I have seen many different neurologists, pain doctors, acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, chiropractors, and physiatrists in Boise and Nampa but still struggled. I've tried all the major migraine medications and pain medication management, but at the time I began seeing Dr Whitaker I was having 2-4 migraines per week and lived with a headache most of the time. Dr Whitaker used a combination of medication changes, osteopathic manipulation, injections, and Cefaly in my treatments. At this point I am down to 1-2 migraines every 10 days, don’t live with a plain headache every day and am ecstatic with the results. It is awesome to be off the pain meds, muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatory meds. I am so thankful he is in the Boise area and that I am continuing to improve-life is so much more enjoyable and fulfilling. I am back to gardening, vacuuming, playing with the grandkids and even bike riding.

After being rear ended in a collision where in I sustained severe injury to my neck, upper and lower back. Also, I began suffering from Migraine Headaches twice a day for approximately six to seven weeks. I was treating with a Chiropratice after the accident, but after seven weeks I was still suffering with the pain of migraines and back issues. I began researching the internet and that’s when I found Dr Whitaker. His background was so impressive that I scheduled an appointment immediately. His staff was very professional and kind. During my first appointment with Dr Whitaker, he addressed all of my issues, even my Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is an autoimmune disease that is degenerative. He was very methodical in his treatment approach. Within my first week of treatment, my migraine headaches were completely gone! I knew without a doubt that my decision to treat with Dr Whitaker was the best choice. Dr Whitaker, is an amazing doctor! His bedside manner is authentic and he has a very healthy sense of humor! He is completely down to earth, and this fine quality allows me to be myself in his presence. Thank you, Dr Whitaker, for taking such good care of me. You have educated me on how to care for my medical conditions, especially the Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am so grateful to have found you and I consider myself extremely blessed. Sometimes, a book with a burlap cover is the best book you'll read that year. Dr. David Whittaker's keen diagnostic sense coupled with his reputation (a very good one) amongst his peers has (just last week) saved me from a potential lifetime of pain, partial lower-body paralysis and incontinence. His knowledge of how and when to act with immediate urgency (and follow through) to save (this patient, at least) from lifelong pain & a great loss of mobility was impressive. And... just b/c the office is rather "plain" - don't judge "this book" by its cover. Highly recommended!

I have been suffering from migraines for over a decade now. I have tried just about every medicine invented and been to several Chiropractor's, but nothing has helped. To be honest none of the Chiropractor's I have been to could even get me to pop. However, Dr. Whitaker not only has gotten my neck, back, and hip to pop back into place, he has also been the only relief to my migraines. I am truly blessed to have met him and his staff. I have been in pain management for what seems like forever, due to some complex issues, which most physicians I have been to really didn't do much for me. Upon moving from west palm beach Florida to Boise Idaho I was in a pickle to find a physician that was competent. I have found that place. Dr whittaker is both competent and compassionate as well as understanding. He has offered me multiple complimentary therapies that no one else has and it has worked until my insurance was hard to deal with. Not sure that words are going to do this justice. After spending a month in excruciating pain from a herniated disc and continuously feeling like I wasn't getting the help I needed, my path finally crossed with Dr. Whitaker. He is immensely knowledgeable in his field and took the time to explain everything that was going on with my injury. But more than that, Dr. Whitaker made me a priority. He truly cares and is in my opinion a truly exemplary doctor. I am optimistic about my recovery now, thanks to him.

This Doctor is lacking in being honest with his patients, on visit to his office he told me that he my us came back with three things in it that was not supposed to be there the one thing i remember was extasee this is a sex drug , IAM a 58 year old grandma that suffers from lupus, and more . None of what he was saying was true, the day he had asked me for urine test, i went to the ER because I thought I was having apenappex pain, at that time they gave me urine test and did blood work, i got ahold of them to find out about if these came back with these things in it and just what I thought doctor was not being honest , they had no such things in them, so this is Doctor can't be trusted . .

This whole office is filled with lovley people not to mention they are going to fix you up better than anyone! I had been running in circles trying to find a solution to my arm inflamation from musical overuse and this was the only place to help get me healed up. They also helped out with some back and neck ajustments as well. So if you have spine or joint problems, especialy if your in the music scene give them a jingle so they can help get you running back at 100%

Unbearable pain from a violent car accident collision left me unable to sleep at night for nearly a month. First visit to Dr. Whittaker helped w/ pain Mgmt. Transparent & takes the time to explain things. I like the way Dr. Whittaker creates an atmosphere where you are participating in your own treatment by choosing what's best for you. Guiding a person (hopefully) towards recovery from their injuries. Highly recommended.

Dr. Whitaker is not only a brilliant physician with an impressive academic and practical background for the medical profession, but he is clearly a physician who cares on a personal level for his patients. He worked with me a long time before coming up with a new, innovative approach to treat my pain that has been successful for me! I had been in intractable, chronic, and acute pain on a daily basis for seven months. Two different injections tried by a previous pain management doctor, plus one by Dr. Whitaker, himself, had yielded no results. Dr. Whitaker continued to research my case until he came up with a brand new (to me) treatment which he had not tried previously. It has been a very successful treatment for me, and I am deeply grateful to him, as I've now been able to resume my normal activities of daily living!
