Of physicians who have treated me over the years, Dr. James Crawford, MD (Idaho Ear Clinic) stands out from the others How? Among his many noteworthy attributes, Dr. Crawford genuinely cares about his patient while expertly, candidly and never condescendingly explaining all that’s essential. Having had diagnoses from other specialists in his field — Otology/Neurotology— I can genuinely attest that his diagnosis of and treatment for my condition was 100% accurate. Since I rarely offer a review of any kind, I am actually happy to be able to unequivocally recommend him and acknowledge that Dr. Crawford is a gem for Boise, Idaho!

(Updated: Firmly reminded the staff that they need more time for first-time patients if they are passionate about providing superb medical care. Boise has some of the worst medical care in the nation for our size of city and for how many hospitals we have, maybe Idaho Ear Clinic will step up the expectations.) I would go back to see Dr Crawford, as he is knowledgeable but he needs to balance time for patients better. I’m not sure the point of arriving early since they make you wait over 30 min to see anyone. I walked out of my last appointment after an hour (split between waiting room and dr room), and I wouldn’t be opposed to walking out again. They need to get their staff organized and not overbook their calendar. Almost missed a flight the first time, and I’m worried about missing my next appointment elsewhere this time. Disappointed.

My grandaughter seen Dr. Maughan and he took great care of her. He also answered all of our questions. We were very happy with the time Dr Maughan spent with us. The office was clean and staff was very courteous.
