Look around before you make an appointment here, I felt like he didn't want to go any deeper into the kind if pain I have felt for over 5 years now. I'm a dancer, I work my tail of daily, after I told him that, he gave me a pamphlet of exercises that I do on a daily basis, he just didn't seem to care about what I was telling him. He is more if a shoulder guy than a knee guy.

I knew of Dr. Andary from my husband's knee surgery right before I tore my shoulder (labrum). He did an amazing job on my husband's extensive knee injury and he recovered very well. Dr. Andary was very knowledgeable and upfront with my recovery process, he explained how hard it would be, and the surgery details. I also felt like he guided me through the long PT process. It was a tough year of recovery, but today the shoulder is great! I would recommend Dr. Andary to anyone with shoulder or knee injuries, great doctor and surgeon.

Thanks for the reviews, I'm trying to find a shoulder surgeon for my husband and just trying to schedule an appointment with the receptionist, lets just say I wasn't impressed with her & will definitely go somewhere else. I only hope Dr. Andrary views these reviews and see the business he's losing with one phone call!!!

Average at best, nice enough person pleasant staff however his skills are not super impressive. To be fair not sure if it is his actual skill set or lack of desire to diagnose anything other than what he wants. As others here have posted he was a Dr who in my experience, did not listen or give me as a person any credibility for my pain. He kind of gave me the blow off and know it all approach that what I was experiencing was not consistent with what he said the issue was. No MRI at all but due to this experience I changed to a different Ortho and he ordered the MRI and the issue I had was very consistent to the pain I was experiencing. I do not mean to be critical of him but it is truly my honest view. I simply was not confident in him and was put off by his demeanor and would not personally go back or refer a friend to him.

I called today after months of shoulder pain. The receptionist was pleasant and had me scheduled for my appointment with the doctor in less than 3 minutes and my appointment is in less than 2 weeks. There was no prescreening like with other orthopedic clinics. i.e. send us your MRI and we will see if we can see you. I look forward to seeing the doctor as he comes highly recommended in the Challis, ID area. I can wait a bit in the office if I do not have to wait 6 weeks to 6 months for an appointment.

Went in for shoulder issues and surgery. Dr. Andary is Great at what he does, is very pleasant and he listens. Unfortunately, I have seen him three times now, and the wait has never been less than an hour and 15 mins. It makes it difficult to see him if you don't have the time in the day to wait. If the wait time was cut down drastically, I would definitely give 5 stars.

My shoulder was basically destroyed and Dr. Andary was able to put me back together without having to open it up. There were ten scope entry points. Healing and recovery went much better than anticipated. I have full use of my shoulder with zero pain. Andary is the best.

Dr. Andary is the only doctor I would let work on my knees. I saw several other doctors and they said they couldn’t help me. At my first visit Dr. Andary knew exactly what I needed done. Yes, the wait time can get long, and yes, he doesn’t always have the best bedside manner, but it was worth it to me to have an amazing doctor who knows what he is doing and does an excellent job at it.

My son has broken his collar bone twice and had to have surgery both times to fix it. They were awful breaks and they have healed perfectly. My son is an athlete and he has been able to resume his sport with complete mobility in his shoulder. I think Dr. Andary is the absolute best at what he does and I would recommend him anytime. His busy office is just a testament to how many people like him and keep coming back.

Suffering from extreme knee pain, I was refered to these guys. Went into an early appointment around 10:15 and wasnt seen in the actual room until 12:45. The nurse had a snide attitude and wasn't kind when I was asking questions and made requests during the xray (to be covered over the uterus at all times during thr xrays) the doctor met with me for maybe 15-20 minutes. Didnt look me in the eye and wasn't helpful I'm regards to causes and treatment. I seriously went in there with my husband early and didn't leave until 1:30PM! For 3 xrays, a shot and a bill. Going somewhere else that will treat their patients with respect and will actually give me some answers to why I hurt so bad and what I did to my knee. Shop around before going to this place, I wish I did.
