Dr. Gill is wonderful. She takes care of exactly what you need/want done and does it very professionally. I put off seeing a dermatologist for years because of a not so great experience with one, but found Dr. Gill and she took care of everything for me. I will be going back to her on a regular basis. Her husband takes care of the front office and they are both friendly and kind. The best part is you don’t have to wait weeks for an appointment (yet). That may change when people read her reviews. Can’t go wrong with Dr. Gill.

Dr. Amber Gill did an excellent job injecting Botox and Juvederm into my face last month. I've had injections with other providers and doctors in the past, but they've not had the fine skills that Dr. Gill possesses; not only with the injection process, but also knowing exactly where the injections would work the best to improve my looks. Dr. Gill's work really stands out as being the best: precise and with almost no bruising and little discomfort! I highly recommend her and will continue to see her in the future for all my dermatology needs. She also performed a thorough full body mole check identifying areas to watch and a mole to treat. The office and staff are very nice too!

If I could give Dr. Gill and her staff 10 stars I would! Her office is beautiful, clean and looks brand new. Filling out new patient forms was a breeze because it was all done on an Ipad. Dr. Gill's nurse Tammy was super nice. I came in because I was having a bad eczema flare up. Dr Gill prescribed me a cream I had never tried before and it was like a miracle medicine. My flare up started to get better overnight and was completely gone within a few days. Thank you Dr Gill for the much needed relief!

Dr.Gill is an amazing Doctor - I love her flat rate $150 and then if you qualify your insurance company reimburses you . She’s sweet , caring and absolutely cares about you.Whether for serious issues such as skin cancer or if you’re just looking for flawless skin, she has all the bells and whistles - All you have to do is look at her - she is as gorgeous as she is sweet - and her skin is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I own a hair salon and I send all my clients to her and they all come back raving and looking younger . Another great thing about Dr Amber Gill is that she doesn’t take months to get into - her receptionist is charming and explains the whole visit from the moment you walk in the door - who does that anymore - He said after we first arrived we’d wait 10 min - Then she came out and thanked us for waiting. I just moved here from mainland, and was very apprehensive about seeing a new dermatologist because I was so comfortable with the one I had always used before. I was experiencing acne because of the drastic change in climate, so I had to do something. When I arrived to the office, I was instantly impressed by the clean atmosphere. I also enjoyed that all of the first-time patient forms were able to be completed on an iPad. Dr. Gill took me a little early for the appointment, answered all my questions, and got me started with a new regimen that's ALREADY WORKING! Great experience, and it most definitely puts my dermatologist on mainland to shame.

I flew from The Big Island to Honolulu to See Amber Gill for a mole and general check up. IIt was definitely my best experience with any doctor in the six years that I’ve lived in Hawaii. Dr. Gill took the time to listen to and address all my concerns. She had me go through my morning and night face routine to ensure I was using the appropriate products for my skin. She even looked up some of the products to check their ingredients to ensure I had a comprehensive routine. She took the time to explain what procedures would be best for my skin and what procedures may offer a quick fix but would just result in the need for more procedures in the long run. I could’ve seen a Tricare in-network dermatologist for free, but wouldn’t have received anywhere near the time and attention that Dr. Gill gave me. Seeing Dr. Gill felt like talking to a good girlfriend about your skin and she just happens to be an amazing dermatologist. I will absolutely be going back for all my dermatology needs!

After talking to Kaiser to get some skin tags removed I decided to just live with them. Then curiosity got to me. So I called Dr.Gill I got a price then rushed down before the price changed(half of what kaiser quoted me). I thought I had 5-6 turned out I had 11. Once I found out I thought the price would go up. NOT 1 PENNY. Will defiantly be back for more if needed. Very very clean office. Staff and Dr.Gill were fantastic.

I came to Dr. Gill for a dermatological issue I have been dealing with for 10 years. I’ve seen many doctors/dermatologist and unfortunately have seen zero improvement with their treatment plans. Within a week of medication prescribed by Dr. Gill, I’ve seen improved! Dr. Gill’s office building was very easy to find, parking is free and her office is very clean and spacious. Dr. Gill herself spent over 30 mins in the room with me, talking about my skin condition, lifestyle changes that can be made to help, as well as the medicion she was prescribing me. I had cause to visit Dr. Gill’s practice while vacationing in Waikiki. It was certainly time well spent. Dr. Gill and her husband Shad operate a fantastic practice. Dr. Gill was able diagnose an issue I had been dealing with for months and prescribe a course of action for treatment. It was only days before I started to see results and I am very thankful for meeting her. I had reason to contact them via email with some follow up questions and my inquiries were answered promptly. Dr. Gill’s offices were impeccable and her registration process was seamlessly executed with tablet technology. She was personable, welcoming and honest about common skin procedures and their outcomes so I never felt like I was in a sales pitch. She was very knowledgeable about skin issues (as a doctor should be!) and I felt completely confident in her hands. I wish she was a bit more affordable for my measly salary but certain things you need to pay for quality. Also, you should see her skin - it’s evidence of her own craftsmanship. AMAZING! I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gill and her husband! They are beyond professional and knowledge, they are friendly and caring as well. I not only receive wonderful care, I feel as though I'm visiting friends when I visit the office. I am on active duty in the military and pretty much get all my medical needs taken care of at ZERO out of pocket cost. While the services provided by military healthcare are great, it is well known that cosmetic procedures are not commonly done at military treatment facilities. It is also well known that the risk for excessive scarring "may" be higher than in the private sector for similar procedures. That is why when It came time to have a skin growth on my nose removed. I chose to seek the professional experience of Dr Gill. My normal health care provider suggested to FREEZE it off... NO THANK YOU!!! This may have been the best choice for the tax payer. But it was not the best choice for myself esteem and high risk of scarring, pain, and likelihood of regrowth using that method for the specific condition I had. Dr. Gill provided an alternative that was literally pain free, produced superior results, and she had the knowledge and temperament to put my mind at ease after hearing what the military doctor wanted to do. While I am very thankful for my Military Health Care, there are just some things you should really get done with a Doctor of your choosing. Anything dealing with the face and skin areas that you know can affect your self esteem... I RECOMMEND AMBER GILL, MD."

Amazing. The best experiences I've had with doctors here are the ones with Dr Gill. She, along with her husband Shad, runs Honolulu Dermatology, a clean and modern office where everything is simple. Both of my appointments were quick and easy, all of my questions and concerns were answered. You get one on one undivided attention from Dr Gill. They remembered me as a returning patient and on my second appointment all I had to do was pay. No paperwork (which is done on an iPad in the first place. Sweet!). They personally contact you with follow up advice. Helpful text and email reminders for your appointment are sent out if you request it; they even sent me a text saying they could see me early. You can also easily schedule your appointments on their website, which is my preferred way of making appointments. Everything about this business is what I want to see in my healthcare experiences. From the clean facility to the friendly attitude of Dr Amber and Shad Gill, not to mention Dr Gill's excellent advice and expertise, this place is perfect. I don't go anywhere else for my dermatology needs. If you need CARE, go see Dr Gill!!

Had a spot on my leg worried it was melonoma I called the Honolulu dermatology and they told me I could come that same day and be a walk-in patient I was seen promptly and much too my relief the spot was not cancer but could lead to cancer if left untreated the doctor zapped/blasted it off with liquid nitrogen and said just to leave alone and a scab would form and then peel away the doc checked all my spots and dots on my back all ok I can highly recommend this place if anyone has any concerns thanks again Honolulu dermatology

My daughter in law encouraged me to visit Dr. Gill about a few medical issues that I'd been putting off and I cannot be happier with the results. First and foremost, Dr. Gill's warm hearted personality and professionalism immediately made me feel comfortable. After so many years in the sun I was showing wear and tear. Cost wise it was entirely worth it for the many benefits I've received. In addition to the quick results of the medical treatment I've experienced here are a few of the added benefits for some of her cosmetic help. I've had people drop their mouths open when I told them my age, (seriously, I had to try not to laugh as I thought that only happened in the movies). I've had to show ID for senior discounts and ASK for them because the cashier won't automatically assume I qualify. Random people have told me I have beautiful skin, and really stare at me asking me my secret.
