Agree with the previous reviewer. If you have a surgical procedure scheduled here, be prepared for a "journey back in time." To our horror, the facilities, rooms, and equipment looked ancient. Apparently, renovations were only completed on the front of the house; the stark contrast made one uneasy.

Stephanie Lankford

My Dad was here, I took him to the ER on evening about 5 pm. At 11:00 pm I went to the nursing station and suggested Dad might be having a heart problem, sure enough the doctor checked him and moved him back to a exam room he told us if we had not brought him up there he would have died that night. , after 3 days the social worker said he had to go home. I said no, he is not stable and will not leave. They send you home within 3 days, you have to be there all the time so your love ones can get the care they need. There is no communication between the social worker, floor doctor or outside doctor. So if you have someone going in this hospital make sure you go with them,

EXCELLENT, COMPASSIONATE CARE at this hospital! Nursing staff is AWESOME!! I had planned surgery... went great, Dr Stewart & his staff are the BEST! Every person that I encountered while there were professional and compassionate! This facility definitely gets 5 STARS from this very satisfied patient!

Marilyn Mian

Could do better with the waiting .Neeed less waiting .

Tim Bowen

Wellstar does not care about helping people. They only care about making their pockets fatter. They wanted us to make $1000 a month in payments for having a baby in that hospital WITH insurance. Avoid this place if possible.

At Hoptail with my Daddy .....

GOD IS REAL

they deserve lower than this.....

Absolutely horrible.I couldn't tell you how many times this hospital has made serious mistakes.Today I got a phone call saying my grandmothers blood culture came back with a infection in her blood.I went on to tell her how she's only gotten worse. She told me to get her back there that they need to give her iv antibiotics. We did. Then they are discharging her 45mins later. Now my mother called to speak to this same lady and she says,"If you guys can't do a better job you need to put her in a nursing home!"Very rude and was raising her voice. No bedside manner at all.

Heather Ray

They had us wait over 2 hours. Brought us to the back and waited 45 minutes for someone to come in and say my foot isn't broken. I dropped a large roll of butcher paper onto my foot and it is black. They said I will lose my toenail to take Motrin and discharged me. The room was dirty with what appeared to be blood on the curtain and the nurses seemed not to care. The best part was the receptionist. She was sweet for the 5 minutes I saw her. That was all. Its the closest so I've been here before and been misdiagnosed on several occasions. Don't go here if possible.

Gina Yingling

This hospital has a very rude nurse named Lindsey. She blocked me from leaving when i realized how incompetent she was. An employee at this hospital told my husband and I that they had permanently fired doctors whom killed people and these doctors had falsely recieved their creditials. Beware!

Dee Greenmeyer

This hospital is awful. The people are rude , nasty and not very bright when it comes to diagnoses . Nothing is bad enough to go to such a crappy place. I would give it a negative 5 star rating if I could.

Deborah Allen

The only good thing about this hospital is labor and delivery and postpartum. Only had problems with one nurse at labor and delivery and on nurse on postpartum. The nursery workers were amazing in making sure my baby was under protection and well taken care of. Will definitely be having all my kids here especially with the obgyn I use. The surgery and pre op are good also never had any problems. the ER is terrible and so is billing. Some wellstar doctors offices are amazing and some are not

Er sucks bad I wouldn't advise anyone to bringin any child up hear to this hospital go to Atlanta or newnan there great even Columbus is great hear my son is 10 months and brought in with a 103.9 fever and all they say is we will put him on anti biotics. And send us home no kind of check or anything just give antibiotics and check with your doc . go to a real hospital not the general hospital. Please listen we set here for 3 hours to get told see your doctor.

The best ever.....

This hospital needs to be shut down or have real doctors that care about the patients because last month my 61 year old mom went to the ER for shortness of breath and pain in her chest they had her in the waiting room for more then a hour and then didn't do any test on her they said it's a allergy and gave her a shot and sent her home one month later on the 7th of August 2018 she died at home from a heart attack if they would of checked her heart and ran test they would of known what was wrong but they didn't care or take time to do nothing. I would not recommend this hospital to no one I wouldn't even take my pet rat there. Not sure why they say this is the best hospital in Lagrange because it's the worst one in Lagrange who knows how many people they sent home and died because of there not caring about there patients especially if they don't have insurance like my mom she was disabled and had no insurance because Georgia is the worst state ever just like this stupid hospital if I could give half of a star I would they don't deserve any stars at all.hopefully people will read this and go to another hospital even if you have to drive a little farther it's worth the time to drive out of your way then go somewhere where there going to kill you.

Tre King

I have had a great experience here, the staff is very attentive and polite,Howard, francis, and Juanita on the sixth floor were great to me.Thanks so much

Donna Waumans

This place sucks! Damn ER Dr can barely speak English! I fired hER time I found she was my so called dr. She still appeared again next day! ER Dr is a pretender! I would not take anyone I know to this prison! All they did was ri!e my ass about smoking & insisted I take blood thiners! I did not want to have a bleed out! ER sucks out loud. It's a prison, not a hospital!

Bill Pruitt

The staff is nice and polite. Medical knowledge is nil. There are much better hospitals in Columbus, Newnan, and Atlanta. For anything other than a head cold, steer clear of this place.

Margarita Book

Worst customer service possible.

Laura Piestrak

The ED staff are compassionate and very thorough.

Amanda Fowler

I almost didn't want to go here because of the reviews on here, but I was in so much pain I had no choice. I'm glad I didn't listen to these reviews. I had the best experience at Wellstar. Every single person I encountered, from the drs to the lady that brought me my food, was caring and super nice. I feel like the entire staff went above and beyond. Everyone had the best bedside manner and they kept me up to date and informed the entire time.

Came here for CT for my dad. We have had run ins with the hospital before but that is every hospital. That is why it is called “ practicing medicine “. Derek Geter was our admin guy. He had us cracking up from the start. He was awesome! Very non-stereo typical of your stuffy hospital staff. He makes you feel at ease and comfortable. There should be more people like him on the forefront and the face of the hospital!

Nate Crawford

The absolute most kind and compassionate nurses and doctors! Our first daughter just arrived and everyone in L and D was so kind and professional. They answered every question and delivered top quality medical care with exceptional hospitality. I would highly recommend delivering at WWGMC! Tanya, Angela, Lynn and so many more were such great nurses to have through this whole process. We could not be more thankful or impressed!

This Business like so many Emergency room locations across the US appear to be engaging in a dangerous policy of not doing diagnostic testing for patients that have no insurance and you can understand it at least in some small measure, however we visited this location and while the doctor seemed nice and the staff were nice, they did not do anything other than "Treat and Street" no diagnostic medicine at all, they told us that the patient, a white female, had what appeared to be a tumor, growing on her back but they did not determine if that condition was a threat to life, in fact had they done that they might have decided to refer this patient to a doctor. But they did no such thing, you see I believe that if a emergency room did do diagnostic testing that they would have to treat medical conditions that might result in some long term harm to the patient. So, perhaps allegedly that is why they do not do it. So, we traveled to a local Doctor that would provide real medical treatment. They would do diagnostic testing, they did diagnose the patient, with a tumor that needs to be attended to soon, but what about the care received at both locations. Location one, (this hospital emergency room they did nothing at all) The second location performed X rays which the doctor was able to identify the nature of the tumor and gave us valid information something the West Georgia Hospital Emergency room could not do.. Why is that you ask? Because they did nothing to help this patient. Now the price of services, doctor number one, the West Georgia Emergency room, cost, (likely between $1,800.00 and $2,700.00) but they did nothing to help this patient understand about the threat that this tumor presented to this patients life, the symptoms that were present or the nature of the level of pain this patient was in . The second doctor, charged as total of $218.00 Which one do you think did the better job and on top of that why are Emergency rooms not providing quality medical care to patients regardless of if they have medical insurance or not. That is the real question, what if you had a head injury and the emergency room did nothing but diagnosed you with a headache, they would be right you know, but very wrong in many other ways. Is it right to intentionally diagnose someone with an injury that requires no treatment from the provider just because it may tend to insulate them from damaging litigation? Or is it an outright lie, to diagnose someone with a headache who really has a spinal injury. It is a loop hole or is it a violation of the Oath they take... That is something that we need to understand, if you need medical treatment and you have no other option, you may or you may not receive quality care here. Is that fair, I think so, because if they treat one patient differently because they have no insurance but have a method of paying, then that is an indication that you might end up with a medical situation that could be serious but you might never know it. All I can say is that if you have a choice find some other location any other location, but if you find your self at this location be certain that your concerns are addressed because without diagnostic medicine you have nothing, you could end up like us with a huge bill and no diagnostic tests to help a referring physician do their job.

Ronda Bates

These people are rude and don't care about you at all. I went in and my blood pressure was 174/116 which is stroke and heart attack levels. They just pretty much put a band aid on me and sent me out the door. Worst hospital ever. I would give a really high negative rating if I could.

Cathy Haley

Third time with billing.I have two insurance medicare and tricare. There has always seemed to be a problem they start sending me bills .I call billing office numerous times . Never get a response.Call medicare.they say I shouldn't be getting a bill.Well now i see they put one o f them in collection which really ticks me off.Now I'm going to jump hurdles to get this right Again.Still can't get someone from billing to call me back.I left messages and with no response i assumed they correct Ted this problem.Yet again no they havent. They really need to get their billing in order.

Michael Stephensi

They cannot get their billing straight and you will spend hours on the phone trying to get it straight, think you have, and then a few months later get the same incorrect bill again. My wife has BCBS of LA insurance and they bill BCBS of GA which does not pay every time! Back to the phone.

Dequarrea Jenkins

Awful Awful Awful ! This hospital need to be shut down. ASAP

David Fikes

Avoid this place. Hardly any interaction with nurses while wife was in hospital. Doctors don't want to listen. Working to get my wife transferred.

P Wood

My review is not patient related, but employment opportunities. If they treat their employees bad, wonder how they treat patients. Offered a job at West Georgia Health. Went to Worx for preemployment physical. The physician there would not let me start until he got old medical records from surgery more than 10 years ago. Could not get those records right away. In meantime had an injury. Called Worx and was told dr still would not let me start job until released from dr for injury, even though I was perfectly capable of working. How can one doctor say someone cannot start a job just because he cannot get records?? Worx and West Georgia Health refused to give me letters stating they actually offered me a job. Have been in the medical field for almost 40 years and have never had a problem like this. Certainly do not want to work at West Georgia Health now!

Cindy Geerlings

I have been a patient several times at West Ga Medical Center, most recently in 2017 and 2018. I was very impressed both times, and treated very well by everyone there. My care was excellent. I had surgery both times and everything turned out well, thanks to the excellent staff there. I can't say enough how grateful I am, and how I appreciate how well I have always been cared for by all the nurses, doctors and entire staff at Wellstar West Ga Medical Center. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. The ICU staff was unbelievable.... I don't know how they do what they do. My stay there, even though I was very sick, was made so much better, because of their care and pleasant attitudes.

Sarah Elam

I had my 3rd child here and they took excellent care of me my son and my husband. Tonight my mom was in severe pain newnan hospital did nothing to help her so we came here and got in and out and she is feeling so much better.

Angela Montondo

It is a one star review because there is not a "no stars" option. I was transported to the ER in Lagrange due to an allergic reaction. I have very good insurance. That insurance, when properly billed, always pays and pays on time. For whatever reason, the billing department at West Georgia (now West Star) doesn't seem able to process claims accurately or timely. A year plus later and numerous phone calls (can't even count the number of times I've called) and my insurance company tells me that a claim has never been filed. For Emergency care avoid this place like the plague. Go to Newnan. It's an entirely different experience.

Asa Merrill

A wonderful experience through-out my daughter's birth, my wife and newborn daughter were extremely well taken care of during our stay.

Maria Bryant

I was in a car accident and they treated me HORRIBLY! My nurse was ok but far as the emt and staff!! HORRIBLE!

My son took me back to see my new, sick grand baby and when he picked the phone up to ask a nurse to open the blinds, one of the nurses said, ughh, I JUST LET HIM IN! REALLY, these people have no idea what these kids have been going through with this baby! How did Wellstar win an award? If it was up to me I would have had my baby moved immediately! I thought this hospital had gotten better, but I know now that it is worse than it was. And the waiting room is filthy and a zoo, barefoot kids running around, people watching Springer on the TV, Nurses walking in and out not saying anything, It was disgusting! Something needs to be done about this Hospital! I didn't want to even give it 1 star but it won't let you post anything unless you choose one!

Lauren Lawrence

My mother just had surgery here. I'm boiling mad. If I could give -5 stars I would! Damn nurse forgot to take my moms IV out. I had to when she got home. They didn't give her crutchs or will chair! Released her not even 2hrs out of a major sugery! Unable to walk! She has no splint or anything on her knee. She had major bone surgery on her knee. And I know that she's already messed it up!! What kind of hospital send a patient home with out a way to go to the bathroom. I'm going to do everything I can to make the Nurse & staff responsible for doing my mother this was are fired!!

DO NOT GO HERE!! You wait for 3 hours in ER waiting room, get put in a room and wait 3 more hours to be seen, then wait 3 more hours to be told you’re fine, then wait another hour to be told you can go.

Beautiful Disaster

Me n my wife are sitting here right now in fast track but it ain't fast its slow as hell. I have had to ask for blankets repeatedly and they said she could have them but over an hour later they still haven't given her not 1 blanket. Over 3 and a half hours of being here she still ain't talked to a Dr n she hasn't been able to eat or drink anything or hold nothing down for 4 days. We are being ignored. The e.r. lady at the desk was very rude and when I asked why my wife hasn't been seen yet n others who came in after her were already seen n gone but she hadn't been seen at all by the Dr the only excuse she gave me was the hospital is completely full, ok eo y not tellfolks that from the beginning before they think they are going to get seen anytime soon. Its not our problem the hospital is full n it's not right folks that came in after my wife has already seen a Dr....RUDE ASS STAFF N WE WONT BE COMING BACK!

I have been to the ED on 2 occasions with both my daughters and both times received excellent care. The wait in ED wait was a bit long but the triage nurse was excellent checking in on my daughters each time. Dr. Ferner diagnosed my daughter's strep accurately and got her back on the road to recovery in quick time. I also have been a patient as I gave birth to my second daughter at West Ga. The whole labor and delivery team was amazing from start to finish. My post-part um nurse treated by husband like royalty through the whole process. They really focused on what I as a patient and my husband's needs were. This hospital focuses on their patients and would recommend them to everyone in the West GA area, and I will continue to use this wonderful hospital.

NO STARS I went in last year to be checked out for pneumonia because my primary Dr,. said to go there to be admitted. Paramedics picked me up and tried to get IV started after being butchered up with needles in Dr.'s office earlier that morning. Told hospital not to even try for Iv. because my veins were already shot out. THEY DO NOT LISTEN!!!!! They started poking right away and 1 nurse pricked my hand and the needle came though my skin and broke through the other side of my hand. The year before a urse or play nurse student wiped blood from 1 arm and went to the other arm with the same bloodied cotton swab and wiped it and I stopped her and told her no! Use a clean swab or leave me be. Just not professional and very rude and not trained.

Michelle Becker

By far my best emergency room experience ever. Very thorough and took time to do things right and explain everything. Every single staff member I encountered was helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Terry Brown

Simple Truth

Dr. David Ferner wrote an article in the LaGrange Daily News PROMISING IMPROVEMENT here at Wellstar. HE LIED!!! The ER is understaffed and inexcusable when it comes to patient management! Been here for over 3 hours and aside from the initial interaction with nurse when brought back, haven’t seen or been checked on by anyone! Have pushed the NURSE CALL button so many times my finger will need a splint before I leave. NO RESPONSE!!! FLOOR NOW COVERED WITH VOMIT!!! Still can’t get any help! Family member goes and speaks with the head nurse or nurse in charge. Very rude and uncaring! Obvious why and where the other nurses get there attitude and professionalism! David you promised POSITIVE change for the ER. When can we expect this to take place? From my own experience and reading the other reviews posted, the community is still waiting!!!

Carolina Alicea

I usually don't have a problem with this medical center but today, 3/6/18, is outrageous! They have made us wait 3 HOURS and counting to get a room to see us! OUTRAGEOUS! We come here with an EMERGENCY and they make you wait hours to see you!

Don't come here unless you're dying. Even if you're dying don't come here.

Cause u Need 2 know

Early this morning I took my disabled husband to the ER at WWGMC. He had fallen a couple of nights ago getting out of the shower. The pain and restless nights had gotten the better of him. It took me the two days to get him to seek treatment because of the negative reviews and negative personal experiences he has had. It takes a lot to get my husband to go to a hospital and I say this so you can understand how much pain he was in to be willing to go. He also went because of the public promises made by Dr. David Ferner of positive change. Well my husband arrives in the early morning hours and is seen by the triage nurse, which was very pleasant, and she checks his blood sugar and it is over 350. My husband is a type 1 diabetic and insulin pump wearer. We return to the waiting lobby. No problems aside from the pain and discomfort my husband is in. We make it to the back and are greeted by an excellent nurse. Well then enters Dr. Moussa. That's where the problem begins. My husband explains his fall and the pain and area of the pain. HE MAKES THE MISTAKE OF BEING HONEST WITH THIS DR. MOUSSA and tells him that he is in a pain clinic and what he takes. Dr. Moussa then ask, "Well what do you want me to do? He ask who his pain clinic doctor is. We tell him the doctors name, who we will call Dr. X to protect his privacy. Dr. Moussa says that Dr. X knows better than to have his patients come to the ER! And storms out of the room. Registration comes to the room and wants to start the registration process but my husband asks the registrar if the doctor is going to treat him first. What test will be done and the like. The registration person says he will go check and comes back and says the nurse would be in in a few minutes. He whispers then that the doctor thinks my husband is out "chasing pain pills!" How arrogant of him! He never checked my husband's chart. Had he, he would have seen the last time my husband was out here at the hospital was February 5th of this year and Dr. Moussa was the doctor who saw him then and helped him with his pain and sugar problems! Asking for a shot is NOT pill chasing!!! Asking for a prescription to take home, probably a pill chaser. Don't punish people for being honest with their doctors! 1 visit prior to tonight's and seen by the same doctor at the ER is NOT A PILL CHASER!!! Why can't the doctors take 5 minutes to review a patient's chart. He could familiarize himself with the patient and problems. Well next the nurse returns and again we asked about treatment. He said he was going to give my husband Toradol and a STEROID shot. Now for those of you that don't know, and I guess Dr. Moussa too, steroids have a very adverse effect on glucose readings. SOARING sugars high and the impact they have on the blood sugar last for 5 or more days. Now my husband came in with blood sugar reading of well over 350 and he wants to pump steroids in to him!!! Asked if they were going to do any X-rays or other test. He said no. My husband also said no to their treatment plan. Already having high sugars from the pain and stress, he was not allowing Dr. Moussa to create a bigger problem, such as developing DKA, which can be deadly, by pumping him with steroids! We understand the problems with opioids as well as the next person. Are we not suppose to be honest with our doctors? But what is someone in my husbands position suppose to do when they get hurt. I guess you just have to be sure if you do get hurt make sure it doesn't happen on the weekend or after your regular doctor's office hours! Isn't that the purpose of an ER to treat and help people who can't go see there regular doctors? Simple summary outside of treating a hangnail, don't choose this hospital. Read all the reviews for the hospital (a 2.0 review score) AND the reviews for the ER (1.8 review score). Then do as the MAJORITY of this community does and go to the hospital in NEWMAN!!! 'Cause you NEED 2 KNOW-

Angie White

They doctors there do not care about you there at all. I was in extreme pain and the dr. came in and told me I had a virus and ordered me some fluids and zofram. I don't have insurance so He didn't even stay in the room thirty seconds. My ears are infected and I'm still not sure what else is wrong but He didn't even care.

Sandra Bickford

I had to wait in the ER for over 6hrs. Everyone up til then had been very nice and attentive. The lady who administered my meds had no bedside manner, the Dr didn't treat my issues correctly and had the nerve to state something totally wrong on my diagnosis. I have a huge problem with this!!!!!

Joshua Pittman

Don’t waste your time at the emergency room here. 4-7 hour wait on most days. Generally they give you a day or two of meds, then send you home. Only way to be seen fast is to arrive in an ambulance. Need to hire staff badly.

Jessica Barnett

Erin Pickett

Teresa Hughes

ER sucks , you have to wait hours in the waiting room even when they aren't busy, the staff in ER are not friendly, when you do get to the room it's another wait until they decide to come in and after explaining your problem . They order test to see what is going on . It always a UTI or you are dehydrated. The rest of the hospital is fine , They need to fix the ER.

Scarlett Owens

We were in from out of town when my father became ill. He was taken to this hospital and was well taken care of. We are so appreciate of the good care he was provided.

Russell Reid

Everyone has been very nice and helpful, with the exception of the billing department. I shouldn't have multiple bills for the same visit, just put it all on 1 bill.

marsenio askew

Avoid this place at all cost, if you're sick it is best to die at home!!! Rude staff, extremely long wait times exceeding 7 hours just to be called to the back. The lack of caring is appalling! There's no excuses for this. I feel that this place should closed down. West Georgia Medical Center WellStar you are failing the citziens of LaGrange.

G. C.

Worst emergency room experience ever. Get some help! You are obviously understaffed or else the staff you do have doesnt realize that it isnt wise to leave a dehydrated person clutching their stomach and moaning in pain waiting for almost two hours to see a doctor. Weak. These must be the people that barely got through medical school. Bottom of the barrel. Update: we never even got called back the receptionist is a rude pig.

Derek Kelley

Stay away from well star affiliated Dr offices. Wellstar......more like no star.

Chris Rogers

Doctors had to replace the iv 5 times. So she has an iv mark on her hands one of her arms and both of her feet. I will not be taking my child to this awful place ever again. The er is horrible everything about the place is awful from the food to the staff...do not come to this place...if i could it would get not even one star from me...

Michelle Webb

Went with serious reaction to new bipolar medication the doctor acted dumbfounded and ends up they checked my lithium level! !! Went somewhere else to get help!!

b. b_xo

Do not work for this company very bad management not worth it experience was awful!

Ken P

This is the 3d time I have been here with my father in the last 2 or so months. The ER staff is great!! Hence the 2 stars for them. The staff in the ICU is below average at best. Staff is very rude to family members and slow to see about patient needs. I would say if you have the option go some place else. I know people don’t have that option and It’s sad this is the hat they have. Last time I was here I ask for hospital director for the ICU nurse and 5 weeks later still nothing. So the issue starts at the top and goes down hill. But hats off to the ER staff.

Debrica Butler

Whitney Nelson

I had surgery there today and if I could leave 10 stars I would. Every nurse that saw me took excellent care of me; especially the nurse that did my if and preop blood work named Alana Todd, she was incredible.

walked in there with just a stomach ache one day they kept me for 5 hrs just to let me go...they put an iv in me an ran fluids in me and tried to get me to do a drug test i kept refusing until finnaly i decided to do so and soon after they told me that it was because i smoked weed that my stomach was hurting which i find highly doubtful after i got home the next day they sent me a bill for 18000 dollars for the services when all they did was basic test

John King

I wish I could rate this lower. Brought my gf here needing help. They strapped her down for over 24 hours. Took 5 nurses to hold her down. And she's 95lbs. One had her by the throat and I told him to get his hands off her throat. The nurses were in hall laughing. They lied to me and her family a dozen times. She's sitting her 2 weeks latter and arm is swellon and can't move her wrist. Stay the he** away from this pile of crap.

Damon Watford

I'm leaving a 2 star because they finally had someone get in touch with me to answer my questions. But only after calling and leaving a message 3 days in a row and sending 2 emails. One of them conveying how upset I was. Whoever is over the billing department needs to get the priorities in check and actually answer the phone!! Also, I was told all I owed at the time of the procedure was my insurance deductible. Only to receive a bill in the mail for more! Which is what my question was all about.

This Hospital Is Slow . Today Me and My Dad Been Here Since 9am And Its 5:10 . We’re Still Here . Nurses walking around On Phones - Talking About Emojis & chic Fil a .. One Nurse Rolling around In A Computer Chair .. I told my Dad Next Time We’ll Go To Columbus!!! Doctor Came In Here And Said He’s Waiting On a CT Scan Since 3:45pm & Its Not 5:10 .. This Hospital will Kill You With These New Nurses Thats working Here .....

This Er sucks . Drive to Columbus or Newnan !!! Everytime I have went I ended up wasting hours to be misdiagnosed by a rude Nurse practitioner .They do not take time to do tests or diagnose you properly .I always ended up driving to Columbus or Newnan the same day and actually being taken care of .Dont waste your Time !

Jan Gibson

Ray Phinkle

I really wish I could give negative stars, this is literally the worst hospital I have ever experienced, and the reason I have to leave LaGrange even though I live the city and the people. Driving to newnan twice a month for real medical attention is daunting. With the new great Wolfe lodge and all the things they are doing to make this city better, it’s sad a key aspect of infrastructure is allowed to rot and fester like this because of a few good ol boy doctors.

Simply terrifying. We took our child to the ER for a busted lip at 7:30pm after 4 hours he received Tylonal and teatnes shot. They charged over $4000. And did not treat him. We had to take him to Atlanta for stitches because Wellstar said they had no one capable of stitching up his lip. This is why they have a rating of 2. By the way the hospital that acuactualy treated him charged less than half of Wellstar's bogus charges. We have contacted the hospital admin. The response was we will get back to you. Meanwhile they run full charge through insurance try to collect on services not rendered. INSURANCE SCAM..

For weeks, my wife has been trying to get her medical records regarding the C-Section she had there a few years ago. Still nothing. No one answers the phone, no one returns calls, and the one time she has gotten someone on the phone, we've been given the runaround with new numbers to call. Now we've been told to call the original West GA Med Center records department number again and still can't get ahold of anyone. She is due any day now and is hoping for a VBAC, but we need the medical records for this to happen. It's one simple piece of paper, and they can't even provide it to us!
